Duplicate shortcut is not working for me

I have a problem with photos in files received from a single user. (files sent as a local copy) I can't see a preview of photos in files from this user. They are also not visible after exporting the document in PDF. Photos are not heavy. Images of this size are usually visible without problems.I checked with 5 Figma users. For one of these users, the photos are visible.However, I want to point out the problem to the person sending the file.

The new aspect ratio button is missing from the UI, it should have replaced the constraint button according to image sin the help docs. tested on both new and old UI’s, tested on both browser and app versions.

Hello. All my projects, settings, styles and templates disappeared. As if I am a new user. I can no longer see my work area. I did not change the account. I have already reinstalled the application, but nothing helps

How can I transfer a community figma handle to another user? Can a person have multiple?How do orgs manage this?

Has anyone else noticed an issue (glitch?) where layers are locking on their own, with an unremovable dot where the padlock icon appears when layers are locked? Clicking it just adds a padlock. A coworker and I are working on a deck together and just encountered this and don’t know how to resolve it so that it’s editable again.It’s the child-layer-locked-icon.We thought maybe it was a font issue but it’s happening on non font layers as well. Duplicating the content into a new slide is removing them, but it’s a long doc and we want to avoid this in the future.I did try to google for it/search for it here, and see some people who may be having the same issue, but no resolution. 

I just update my figma. And my navbar not showing. I can’t use multi tab and resizing the window. 

Yesterday I noticed the “Hide when publishing” option no longer works properly.In my main component library, I have a component that is intended to be used locally for documentation and it used to be unpublished. Now, it is visible in other files, and when I find that component in the Assets panel and right-click it, it only shows “Show when publishing” even though it is clearly published. Clicking this option does nothing and on the next right-click it still says “Show when publishing”.Has anyone else run into this, and can you help me resolve it? Edit: this issue is present on the native app on both MacOS and Windows.

Hello. I am having this issue for a long time now. When I move the design into my clients Figma file almost all images disappear and I get this message “ Invalid image was removed”. And I am downloading images separately to place them in clients design file every time.

Hi Everyone, I am using Figma Rest API to update the variables on Figma File...  I came across a situation where I am unable to update the variable-description through the API.... For example,consider someone has edited the description on Figma file.. I want to keep the description as it is defined in tokens( I am using styled-dictionary), if I run the figma-api script, was expected to update the description as it is in tokens, but it is not working.. It is working w.r.t tokens values, but not the description..

Figma version 125.1.1. (that is the actual Figma Beta) on windows does not load anything, not even the home screen.This started since Feb 2nd. I have reinstalled, uninstalled and installed, switched to different wi-fi, but nothing has changed. Meanwhile, the stable version of Figma 125.0.7 loads fine (as does Figma in the browser).Eternal Loading Also, you can see that information about files and their status is coming to the application, but everything else is not loaded. Hi Figma Team and Community, My Goal:I want to create a master layout file that can later be modified exclusively via variables for each customer. This works mostly well...My Problem:I’ve encountered a behavior that I can’t seem to resolve:I created a component called "Icon." This component allows me to select the icon and adjust the stroke weight (three options). To control the icon color for each customer, I exposed the icon color as a variable. This works perfectly fine. Next, I embedded this "Icon" component into a new "Link" component, together with some text. Within this new component, I overwrote the original icon color using a new Link-Color-Variable because the icon needs to have a different color in the context of the link compared to when it’s used standalone. This also works without any issues. To make the "Link" component even more flexible, I want to not only control the color but also the icon itself for each customer. I’m creating a deck where we are using links on text to navigate to other pages throughout the deck. I’d expect these reference links to the slide to automatically update if I move a slide to a different location in the deck, but it looks like it’s stuck on the exact slide number no matter what.So if I have a text link on a page that is meant to go to “slide 53” and add 2 slides between 50 and 53, the original slide 53 is now 56. However, the link on the text is now going to the new slide on 53 vs the original which is now 56…So if we move pages, or add pages throughout the deck, all of the reference links are broken and we need to manually adjust them to the new slide numbers, which is pretty frustrating. 

The issue:When AI sorting stickies by topic, many stickies are removed or modified.Any “stickies” which are for example oval shaped are also removed, even though they are included in the initial selection. Perhaps shapes are not included in the selection. (Sometimes there are not enough sticky colors for the use case so shapes must be used to differentiate, so I think they should be included in the selection. The UI also implies it is included.)Sorting also changes sticky colors, which can be an issue when things are color-coded.I think this is a huge issue because it can cause a huge loss of work if someone does not notice missing stickies in a sea of stickies.In my attached video you may notice that there were a lot more stickies before sorting than after. Before Sorting Sort Stickies ButtonAfter Sorting 

How do you disable the pointer events for elements (buttons, links, inputs, etc.) that are being obscured by modals, dropdowns, or anything else? The giant gray block shown below is the overlay container for a future megamenu, but the underlying, clickable elements are obviously still available to the mouse. That’s not ideal.A dropdown exposed by clicking on a hidden button...which isn’t good.

My my screens with transparent clippings on them suddenly appear black.  However, when I preview / play the screen the background goes back to normal again.  See images for the edit vs presentation mode.  

Today, my team and I were removed from the team, and all project folders created by individual team members were lost. This isn’t the first time we’ve faced this issue—similar incidents have occurred previously, and support tickets were raised. However, the files were not recovered.Now, we are experiencing the same issue again. Neither the owner nor the admin removed us, and none of the files were deleted by us.

This issue appeared today when I updated the desktop app on windows 10: The option to close, minimize and drag the app on the screen is not working. I read Figma Staff is working on sending invoice attached via email in this another topic, which is just fine and cool, but we’re facing issues with email notification about monthly invoices. Let me get this straight: the email we specify within the Alert in Setting>Billing>BillingContact is useless (see image attached), coz Figma is actually not sending reminders to that specific email I want to be notified. Instead, I’m the one receiving a reminder about invoice via email, which in turn makes me (every once in a month) to manually download the invoice, write and send an email to the person in charge of this matter (and i underline is not me) with invoice attached. This is monkey business time, guys. We’re tired of doing this over and over. Am I missing som’ or what’s still cooking in the Figma kitchen?

Transparent svg graphics not seen transparent in figma but seen transparent in when imported. 

HiWe have an issue where the stroke width on a button is controlled by a variable. That variable is called “none” which is linked to a value of 0. This means that the stroke is there but not visible (required by our developers).Stroke variable “none”That button component is used inside other components. What happens is that here the stroke is suddenly visible:Stoke around buttons that should not be there When looking at the nested instances of the button component inside the other component, the stroke now has a width of 1 even though “none” is still selected? Variable changed to 1I can delete the stroke from the main component and then everything looks fine. The issue is that our developers require it to be inside the design. Any idea what is going on here? Thanks
