I use Figma in view only mode for work and for no reason now when I hover over a property variable the actual value of the variable doesn’t show anymore. I’ve only seen one other forum post talk about this from 9 months ago and the figma rep said it was fixed in an update. I restarted my laptop and installed figma desktop, but the problem persists. Does anyone know if there is any fix to this.

Hi, I have a question about a variable/component I created. I’ve set up a condition where, when the toggle or switch is turned on, the dropdown menu becomes enabled, and when the toggle or switch is turned off, the dropdown menu becomes disabled.However, I noticed that when I turn the toggle off, the selected item in the dropdown resets to its default value. Why is this happening? Before [Condition Switch is OFF]After Switch to Active After [Condition Switch is ON] 

How can I fix the problem where some parts of the image are corrupted when exporting the image to png?  

I’m having the same issue with my figma account. I no longer have access to my work email ID, hence am unable to authenticate with a code when logging into figma. I would like to regain access to my files though (important thesis, projects). Could someone on your end please help me manually update the email address on my Figma account?

I have published 3 sites now using Figma sites.  They are all active and accessible...with one major problem… If the user types the name of the site without the www. in front (say they type site.com and hit enter)… there is no redirect automatically enabled and the user gets an “unsecure site” error message. I believe this should be covered automatically by Figma and the automatic SSL… but until such time, I’m wondering if there are DNS settings I need to add to cover this issue.Thanks,

Hello,I built a Figma prototype for our desktop platform, and one of the screens includes a chat-like interface with multiple suggestion blocks.During a recent demo, one of our team members presented this screen, but the layout appeared incorrectly on his side — the suggestion blocks were rendered higher than they should be, misaligned with the actual Figma design.I double-checked the components and screens in Figma, and everything looks fine on my end. When I preview the prototype myself, it displays correctly. Interestingly, on his side, the screen renders correctly about 90% of the time — but occasionally, it still breaks.I’m trying to figure out what might be causing this inconsistency. This is how it should be:  And this is how he sees it: 

This past week there is an issue that has been coming up a lot lately with transparencies in exported PNG file from Figma. In the years using Figma, I have never experienced this issue.I went a few rounds with this issue even creating modules from scratch (framing shapes, masking shapes and so on) and was still having small fine transparency issues at the bottom and sometimes the top of my exported PNGs. Alll frames in the Figma platform had no gaps in the frame and the shapes what so ever. Anything I did when exporting seem ineffective and transparency issues were still present. I showed another Figma designer this issue and did create some modules step by step in collaboration and we both could not figure out what was causing this issue. The only conclusion we could draw is there was an issue with Figma itself. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue also?

I’m on a Macbook (Apple Silicon) running Figma Desktop App version 124.0.2 I think there’s been a accessibility-related regression with the “version history” modal. Previously, the “title” field was first in the tab order, so it was focused as soon as the modal opens. Now, the “title” field is third in the tab order. As the user, I could quickly save to version history using a few keystrokes: [option] [command] [S] to open the version history modal type a title (title field was already focused) hit enter to save With the recent regression, I need to add a step: [option] [command] [S] to open the version history modal NEW: tab twice to focus the title field type a title hit enter to save I strongly prefer the previous behavior, where “title” was first in the tab order.

Hi folks! We create a lot of presentations and usually design them on Figma, then export them as PDFs. Now, with the latest Figma Slides option, this opens up new ways of presenting and sharing presentations. There is one issue I’ve encountered and need help with. There’s an option where you can select all the frames you want to export – then go to the “Actions” field and type “copy…” to get the option to select “Copy to Figma Slides.” This opens all your selected frames perfectly on Figma Slides. However, sometimes the option to select “Copy to Figma Slides” in the “Actions” panel is not available. WHY? Here with “copy to Figma slides”: Here suddenly without “copy to Figma slides”: Can anyone tell me where the hidden Copy to Figma Slides button is? Thanks! 💐

When I toggle an icon inside a styled (variant) button, its focus ring or outline remains visible even after it’s turned off. The only way to remove it is to activate a different icon, which clears the issue. However, when I toggle the same icon on again, the focus outline shows up and doesn’t disappear, as if it’s stuck. 

A pop-up keeps displaying every few seconds when I use Figma (screenshot attached). The message reads "You are attempting to access support-chat.figma.com/support_chat_frame.html site... Attempts to access barred sites are recorded. Attempted use for non-business reasons may invoke disciplinary action."

An intern accidentally clicked on the account deletion button. How to restore all the files when opening it again?

When I export (to png) any shapes with curved corners there is a little gray line on the edges.I’ve tried finding YT videos, snapping to grid, etc. But nothing seems to work.  

Hello,Every time I open up Figma on my browser, all the fonts that I’ve installed on my computer using the Figma Font Installer for Windows disappear, and I have to go back and manually re-install them on my computer and overwrite it so that they can all re-install themselves into figma again, which is frustrating and time consuming. Does anyone know why this is happening?

 I cant click in this blank area to apply fills/strokes/effects etc, i used to be able to but now i have to click the plus. it takes a little longer to navigate there which is a bit annoying, is this a new thing or a bug?

Hi!I've recently run into a strange issue when exporting frames from the Figma desktop app (Windows). Some slides/frames export with black bars on the edges (top, bottom, or sides) - but only in certain cases. Here's what's happening: Everything looks totally fine in the browser version - no black bars there. The issue only affects some frames, not all. In the editor, the frames look perfectly normal - the black bars only show up in exported images. I’ve tried: Reinstalling the desktop app Clearing the cache   Making sure all layers are aligned to whole pixels Removing shadows and effects that might bleed outside the frame Exporting in PNG, JPG, and SVG — same result Has anyone else run into this?Would love any ideas or workarounds. I’d really appreciate any help 🙏Hope I explained it clearly English isn’t my first language, so I hope it all makes sense! 😩 

Why this very simple functionality hasn’t been added for years idk. Everytime there’s an issue with payment, we have to enter ALL payment info again. There is also no managing payment methods, or even adding a backup one. It’s archaic for a product that costs $240 per year.

Hello, can anybody help me with this issue? I have several .fig files, and whatever I try to import them, it’s “Unsupported file format”. I tried Import from “Create new” dialog, I drad and droped , the same result.  Please,  how to fix it?   Thank you !  

From time to time I cross broken Variant values’ order. Other words, an instance on the design file has a different variant values’ order than the main component or even instance of it, tested directly in the library. It’s not always the same component. It’s appearing at random. Problem appearing only on instances used in design file with added library Other, same way created components works fine (until randomizer decide it’s their time). Figma seems to be working hard on several key new features, and has completely neglected the management and maintenance of the community, and it often cannot be opened. Even if it is not upgraded, it should at least be guaranteed to be bug-free, right? 

 Hello Figma Support Team,I’m experiencing severe issues with touchscreen and stylus input specifically in FigJam.For over six months, I was able to use my stylus to draw and annotate without any problems. I could also navigate the canvas smoothly using two fingers. However, recently this functionality has broken: When I select tools (e.g., the Selector) and try to pan the canvas with two fingers, the view wiggles unpredictably, making navigation nearly impossible. Drawing with my stylus now behaves erratically—strokes do not register accurately and jump around or lag. I have tested this on both the desktop app and in multiple browsers. The behavior is identical across all environments. This issue is easy to reproduce: simply use a stylus to draw and then try navigating with fingers in FigJam.I’d appreciate any guidance or updates on whether this regression is known or if a fix is planned, as this is disrupting my workflow.Thank you for your help.Best regards

I’ve been having issues with images failing to upload and show a loading/buffering state for images.Happens when there are more than 1 image columns/cell and more than 1 row of content. No clean runs where all images from all rows and columns/cells get uploaded smoothly. Text columns/cells work fine on all rows.It’s hard to say what the trigger zone for this bug is--I’ve tested it with dozens of variations of sample XLXS files trying to replicate it and search for a sweet spot that doesn’t break the bulk uploads--always breaks with multiple rows and columns containing images. Pictured below: The upload preview and what it outputs when using the attached file. Screen recording of a test run.   

The fonts in my figma file have changed automatically to a random font, when I tap on them they change back to the correct fonts but I need to manually click on each text field. 

We’re currently making our components responsive using variables. We’ve setup custom values for components, in this case our Checkbox. It should increase in size on smaller viewports. We’ve inserted icons inside the checkboxes which contains sizing variants  which are connected to the variables string to achieve the resizing. The resizing is working correctly, however the color breaks. I have checked all the layer nesting, naming, etc. Also re-factored the Icon naming and layering, but it still breaks.Please see the video.  

When I create an XLSX in excel with all of my images, when I go to upload them in the bulk uploader it completely reorders them when I have more than roughly 11-12 rows. See screenshot. It works fine for smaller runs of ~5-10 but when I create more the order changes when I upload it.  In screenshot the front column appears with the back images and vice versa after uploading.
