Rename or remove theme color's in Slides Deck

Yes thank you, I know have the bin icon to be able to delete a color style.

Do you have information about the improvement of the video component ?
As mentionned here : do you know when will be a new release with more controls over the video (maybe YouTube embed?)

I recently had some trouble with video from previous slides, supposed to be paused, that keep playing in the background when playing a new video. I don’t know if I am the only one to report this ?

I have seen that we can now add Youtube embed by simply pasting the URL. But YouTube’s native features come before Figma’s (The “next” key on the keyboard does not go to the next slide, but advances the video by 5 seconds for exemple). Which makes navigating the presentation very complex.

I hope future features of video controls will improve all this.

Hey - looks like I’m having the same issues regarding deleting, renaming or changing the colour styles in Figma Slides.

I have a colour that I created that is not being applied anywhere in my deck. I can see it when I go to apply a style in a page in design editor mode, though it is not there in the Custom Style editor and so there is no ability to edit or delete it here.

I’m looking to either change the colour for the colour variable or, delete the colour variable so that I can create a new one with the new colour.

For anyone else encountering a similar issue with renaming colors in Figma Slides, I wanted to share some general insights our team uncovered through Julia’s report that may be helpful for the community here:

• For example, when you click on a color style (see screenshot below per example, I edit with a brown color), it will replace the currently selected color in your template with that one. To change the actual color value itself, you’ll need to use the “Edit template color” option.

• If you want to rename the color instead, you’ll want to go to the “Custom” tab (where your selected color appears), and then update the name from the field at the bottom of that modal.

  

   

• You can also open the “Edit color” modal by clicking on the slider icon. Same thing applies here. The "Custom" tab lets you adjust the selected color and the "Libraries" tab allows you to replace it with a color from your libraries (including other libraries, if needed).
