I'm trying to update my verification for the Figma Education Plan, but without success. I keep getting several error messages saying that the information provided is invalid. My institution does not provide an institutional email, so I use my Gmail account. However, I have documents that prove my enrollment. After several attempts, I received a message saying that the submission limit has been exceeded, and now I can’t submit my request again.

All Education verifications need to go through SheerID, so if you’re still running into issues, please reach out to their support team directly to make sure your account doesn’t get locked out again. (Unfortunately, Figma for Education can’t verify accounts ourselves.)
Just to confirm, Figma only requires a school email address if your school provides one to staff or students. If that’s not the case for you, please contact SheerID and explain your situation here: https://support.sheerid.com/en-US/help-center/contact-form.
To help complete your verification, make sure the document you upload includes:

Your university’s name

Current term dates

Any official university-issued document with these details should work.
