Figma make not available for edu account yet

Hi there! I checked on the backend using the Figma email account linked to your Forum profile (maxxxxx0@gxxxxl.xxm), and it looks like you don’t currently have an Education plan.

Figma Make is available to most Education team users. If you are on an Education team and don’t have access to Figma Make, it is because of one of the following reasons:

• You are a high school user. High school students and educators do not have access to Figma Make.
• You have not yet reverified your education status. In order to access Figma Make, Education team members must complete the updated verification process.

I’m currently using the Figma Education Plan as a student enrolled at the Interaction Design Foundation. I received an email about verifying my educational status, but I’m unsure whether IDF qualifies as a bootcamp or another eligible institution.

I don't seem to have the option to self-verify on my end. Do you know if anyone in a similar situation (e.g., enrolled in IDF) has been able to complete the verification successfully? Or do you 

know if this platform qualifies?

Would really appreciate any guidance—thanks in advance! 🙏

Hey ​@Christian_Arce , at the moment, bootcamp students can’t self-verify for the Figma Education Plan. You’ll need to reach out directly to your bootcamp admin so they can help with verification.

If your bootcamp isn’t yet verified with Figma, they’ll need to apply through this form: Bootcamp Application Form. Hope this clarifies!

@Celine_  I do have an edu account with my masters university and it has been verified as I have the rest of the pro user tools access. I just don’t have Figma make yet for some reason. The email is (redacted by the moderator due to PII) by the way. I just commented with my personal email here.

Hey ​@maheen ahmed , thanks for confirming details! I can confirm that higher education student can access Figma Make, but they need to complete the updated verification process first.

For your case, if you have been verified before August 27, 2025, you'll need to reverify your education status using the updated process. All Education teams verified prior to that date must complete reverification by September 29, 2025 to maintain access to Professional plan features, including Figma Make. (More information in our guide: Figma for Education)

Here's exactly what you need to do to reverify:

1. Log in to Figma using the account you want to verify (preferably with your school-issued email)
2. Visit https://www.figma.com/education/apply
3. Select Higher Ed as your institution type
4. Agree to the terms of service
5. Select Submit
6. Complete the SheerID form with your school and personal details (read more) 

SheerID will email you within a few days to confirm your eligibility. If they're unable to verify you, you can contact the SheerID support team for assistance. (read more)
 
Once you complete this reverification process, you should regain access to Figma Make and all other Professional plan features. Hope this clarifies!

I see in the backend that you have verified your account for the Education plan on 2025-09-29, and you are a K-12 student. Unfortunately, at this time, Figma Make is only available for higher education or bootcamp Education users. It is not available to K-12 users. You can have more information in our guide: Figma For Education

When I go to this site : https://www.figma.com/education/apply it say that I already verified my education status. So why don’t I have access to Figma Make ?
