hello, I have faced the same warning, although this has not been halted my ability to use figma make. So yes, I am quite confused aswell.
I’ve looked in the learn more provided with no clear answer to this issue.
I can still use make, but does it mean I am using next months’ ai credits already? But I haven’t payed for them yet. So quite confused
Hope someone else is clearing this out!
Hi everyone, thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience! I know the message about “AI credits” can be a bit confusing, so I’m happy to help clarify.
If you’re on a Full Seat in an Organization plan, each member currently receives 3,500 AI credits per month, which works out to around 60–80 Make prompts. The message you saw (“Figma will not enforce AI credit this year but we used our credit limit for the future”) simply means you’ve reached your usage limit for the current period.
The good news is that Figma isn’t strictly enforcing those limits yet, so you should still be able to keep using Make as usual. Later this year, we’ll introduce the ability to purchase additional AI credits for those who need more.

‘ can still use make, but does it mean I am using next months’ ai credits already? ‘
=> No, you’re not using next month’s credits. AI credits don’t roll over, any unused credits expire at the end of each day or month.
You can learn more in our Help Center here: How AI credits work.
If you ever find that you’re completely blocked from using Make, please reach out to our Support team here so we can take a closer look at your account.
Thanks again for flagging this and for sharing your feedback!
