We’re updating our ORION design library to offer compacting modes. We’ve noticed an issue that seems to have been commented on here before (in threads that are now closed). Certain elements - really, just icons - seem to behave inconsistently when a compacting mode is applied. This appears to be true regardless of whether we apply a var to one dimension and lock the aspect ratio or we apply the var to both dimensions. We’ve checked our design system icons and can find no difference in the way they are drawn and structured. For our designers working in compact themes, this creates unwanted visual distortion, obviously. Hi,I have been using a Figma student account, and recently I was logged out of the Desktop App and prompted to log back in. After re-verifying my student status, I noticed that all my files, projects, and teams appear to have been wiped. I no longer have access to any of my work, including drafts—it looks as though a completely new account has been created under the same email address.This is extremely concerning, as I’ve lost access to years of work. I am trying to publish a template in Figma Buzz, but there is no option to publish. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

When I try to log into my Figma account, it's locked. I've followed all the required verification steps, including importing my school documents. But nothing happens; I'm still locked out.Thank you for your help !

After downloading my file everything takes awhile to download and its blurry. It is a PDF to send to potential employers so blurry and delayed photos cannot happen. Please help 

Hi, I am a design student at DJ Academy of Design, and have been using Figma Education for a while. Today I opened my file and it says I can only view and comment. When I tried to verify again, it showed “Verification limit exceeded.” I've tried multiple times and uploaded the proper documents but I’m not able to get done with my verification. Why is this happening when all my documents are correct and I've made sure everything is proper. Now I’m not able to edit my own files and couldn't work and also I’m student and who have lots of courseworks to be done. This verification is not really helping right now.  Can you please help me reset my verification or fix this issue so I can get back access to editing my files?

I started using Figma Make because it popped up and asked me to. I thought I’d build a simple swimlane workflow with minor interactive options to showcase a scenario of a migration from one platform to another. It pretty much nailed the layout at the start, which got me excited. But 4 days later - I want to scream, it’s so frustrating. Subsequent requests to get it to work correctly made it go into a loop of fail that it keeps repeating no matter what. I even linked it to the working version and it still can't get it right. After 100s of versions and a conversation 4 days long, I give up. So much for this portfolio piece I put so much effort into. The AI is just not very bright - at all.

My components are shifting slightly when duplicating or resizing a frame. Copy and paste in place doesn’t work any more. Every copy of a component is in a slightly different position. Any solutions for this problem?

Hi Figma Support Team, I recently noticed that an additional seat was accidentally added to my Organizational plan. The payment for this billing cycle is January 6, 2026, and I wanted to reach out before that to ensure I’m not charged for the extra seat. Could you please help me remove the additional seat and confirm that I won’t be billed for it? Please let me know if any additional steps are required on my end. Thanks so much for your help and prompt response!

I have an issue within my design team where a warning appears saying "drafts to move files will be moved soon" only when I view the presentation mode thumbnail. The files are in separate folders for their respective teams, and we use the PRO plan. Searching for the presentation file within the folders is not possible. What could this warning be about? :

Hi, My student club has an Education plan where we keep our Figma files. Our account was locked and we we’re asked to re-verify. I went through the re-verification forum and hit the error saying “Verification limit exceeded”. I then contacted SheerID and they got back to me saying they cannot process my verification request or offer further support. Please advise me on what can be done for my Education benefits to continue as this has halted a major portion of our work. Thank you

Hi Figma team,I encountered an issue while working on my project today. I didn’t have one of the project fonts installed on my computer, so Figma showed a “font missing” message.To continue working, I replaced the missing font only for one frame that I was editing — not the entire file. However, after doing this, many text layers in the file started to change to the replacement font automatically, even though they were linked to text styles and I hadn’t modified them.Now, when I click on any text layer (even ones with the correct style linked), it suddenly switches to the replacement font. 

 In the desktop Figma app, when I collapse the sidebar to a compact view, there is no way to switch pages while maintaining that compact view. It would be ideal if I could at least open pages in separate tabs, but instead, all pages within the same project are consolidated into a single tab (split view is possible, but not what I'm looking for). If it weren't for this "overly helpful" design choice, navigating between pages wouldn't be such a struggle (because showing/hiding the sidebar affects bothsides, making the screen extremely narrow, and constantly toggling it is inelegant).

Im really trying to make Figma Slides my go-to above google slides, but every single time i turn to it i have to go back to google because i cant add videos to slides without inevitably erroring out and being removed. I have the correct Figma License Ive deleted cache/Desktop Profile folder religiously. Sometimes buys me 1 video before erroring again, usually not even that.  Videos im trying to add are .h264 mp4’s and usually under 10mbSometimes i can get a few videos added, but once 1 errors out, from then on its fighting the errors and i abandon figma and begrudgingly end up back in google slides where i can at least simply videos and gifs without issue.   

I have three students who cannot verify their education status here at our college though they have accepted the invite into my team.  SheerID have now prevented their ability to verify. Please advise. 

Hi! I'm experiencing a strange issue with a carousel prototype in Figma.When I open the prototype while logged into my Figma account, the carousel breaks — it looks misaligned or deformed. But when I open the exact same prototype in an incognito window (without being logged in), the carousel displays perfectly and works as expected.I’ve already tried: Rebuilding the carousel from scratch Double-checking auto layout and constraints Publishing a fresh prototype link The issue still happens, but only when I'm logged in. I also tested it across different browsers, and a teammate experienced the same problem on her account, so it doesn't seem to be user-specific.Has anyone else run into this? Could it be a bug or something related to session-based rendering in Figma?Thanks in advance! 

I pasted a large block of text into a box, and it slows the system down so much that it’s unusable. The rest of the page is unaffected. I have to break it up into smaller parts, which is fine, except it’s just long legal text which all needs to stay together.Maybe it’s because the text is in German (therefore most of the text is underlined in red), but that seems unlikely.Not sure how to report the problem to the developers.

パネルレイアウトがUI3に変更されたせい？か「Add condition」ボタンが見つからなくなってしまいました。どこにあるかご存知の方、ご教授ください。 Is it because the panel layout was changed to UI3? I can no longer find the 'Add condition' button. If anyone knows where it is, please let me know.
