My Make workspace has crashed. I asked Claude Sonnet 4 to create a more tech-style design for my page, and I believe it added too many elements when generating the landing page. Now everything is stuck, the page won’t load, Make is completely unresponsive, and when I try to revert to a previous version, nothing happens. This is urgent. Please help me fix this or show me how to solve it myself.Just to clarify, this is not an issue with my computer. I’m using a high-end setup with a 4060 Ti GPU, and everything else works perfectly, including programming other pages.Thank you in advance.
Very frustrating….I did nothing and a warning sudden pop up. The file tab automatically disappear. It’s not in trash either. What should I do now?I lost access to: https://www.figma.com/file/rL3TA1oinJin6i5R3MbWYr?fuid=565700342330813971
Figma Make is generating code, but then the preview window is blank even when using the pre-set prompts it provides?
Hello Figma Team,I am developing a plugin that programmatically creates components and attempts to add text properties to text layers using the Plugin API (`addComponentProperty` and `boundComponentProperties`). However, even when following the documentation and ensuring the text node is a direct child of the component, the property is not being registered. The `componentPropertyDefinitions` object remains empty, and no property appears in the component’s properties panel.**What I’ve tried:**- Using the latest Figma desktop app (not browser).- Cloning a frame, converting it to a component, and moving text nodes to be direct children.- Calling `addComponentProperty` and setting `boundComponentProperties` on the text node.- Logging the component structure and property definitions after creation.**Sample log output:**```Component property definitions: {}COMPONENT: Frame 1618869411 (id: 12:14) TEXT: I’ve tried therapy in the past (id: 12:12) TEXT: I’ve had some sessions before, and I’m c
I can’t use Figma now since it disables WebGL for no reason. Here is a video of it happening:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1y0vOj2HkxuJKuNUsYcXmSWZg-ctmT4UI/view?usp=sharingWebGL works fine as long as I don’t open Figma. This means I can use other sites just fine, but as soon as I try to open a Figma file, it crashes and disables Web GL. This happens immediately in some files while in others it takes it a couple of minutes to crash. This is really annoying since I’ve got some designs for a game I was making which I can’t access anymore. I tried with Edge too and I get the same results. Also I forgot to mention it but here are my computer specs in case it’s needed: CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11700 @ 2.50GHzRAM: 32gbDisk: SSD INTEL SSDPEKNU010TZGPU 0: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 750GPU 1: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060OS: Windows 11 Does anyone know a fix? I’ve already tried fixes from other threads but none of them have worked. My drivers also seem to be fully updated. If anyone needs me to g
On July 14th, 2025, I transferred ownership of a project file titled "4조_시각디자인 리서치 조사 (Group 4_Visual Design Research Project)" to another member and then left the team.I was the original owner. After I left, the project disappeared and none of the team members can access it anymore. It's also not in the Trash. This project contains important collaborative work, and we would be very grateful if there's any way to recover even just the file contents.Any advice or help would be much appreciated!
While looking around I accidentally upgraded a seat I then downgraded it again and now in the billing section its saying I have 1 full seat and 2 collab seats! How the hell do i set it back to a single collaboration seat (billed annually) Not a great start or an initial FigJam experience
How come the annotation will disappear after a few weeks, and only dev mode can show it? Or double add an annotation to show it out. It’s not convenient. Hope it can be fixed.
Hi I've been using Figma for over 3 years and I've been usingIdeally, I keep components connected. I've been optimizing it by splitting files when they get heavy to avoid memory usage alerts. However, for some reason, my Figma memory usage is gradually increasing.I don't visit many pages, so I don't need to load layers,I've done 4 file splits to keep it from getting too heavy. There are no network or computer specs issues. I'm using a high end Spec m2 iMac. I can understand the memory warning if the file is too heavy or not split. But I don't understand why it warns me with an unknown error when I'm using it ideally.Especially when the memory usage goes from 50 to 100 without doing anything is ridiculous. If anyone else is experiencing the same thing, or the Figma developers, please comment.
Issuesselect 20+ layers and link a spacing variable or radius variable in bulk see the UI just freeze without noting progress on the bulk action or how long users would have to wait request:show some kinda of indicator of how many layers are processed and wait time
We have recently integrated Jira with Figma via the Figma for Jira app. When we add designs to a Jira issue we have no problem viewing the preview of that design in the issue itself. However, none of the Figma previews work in the Jira Release View, where I’d ideally like to roll up all design previews of everything that was completed in a release. Anyone had the same issue, or is this a known bug that is being worked?
Hi Figma Team,I’m experiencing an issue with both the Unsplash and Freepik plugins. After selecting a shape and opening the plugin, I enter a search term — but the loading spinner just keeps spinning and no images are ever loaded. This behavior is the same for both plugins.I’ve tried reloading the plugin, clearing cache, switching between app and browser versions, and checking my network, but the issue persists.Could you please help me troubleshoot this? Thanks in advance! Natalie
I need help fixing this issue. Only on my main PC is this happening. My co-workers will export the same screen without any pixel splits and my laptop will export them perfectly. All the sizes of shapes and lines have no decimals… I’ve already tried to uninstall and reinstall. And have exported different formats and at different sizes for exports. You can see below, the left is a PNG at 2x and the right is a jpg at 1x. The split pixels are different for each screen.
At noon, everything was working fine when I was using one of my documents. However, suddenly a pop-up window appeared saying “Out of memory” and prompted me to open recovery mode. Since then, I noticed something unusual: this particular document has significantly less content than my other files, yet it keeps showing memory issues. Even after I deleted some elements to reduce the load, the file still reports that it’s over the content limit. Strangely, a single text box with just two words can take up about 0.2% of memory, and the memory usage keeps fluctuating between 0.1% and 0.4%. Whenever I try to make any small changes, the document crashes with an “Out of memory” message and forces me to reload the page—even when the memory usage indicator shows only 29%. This file is very important to me. Please help me resolve this memory issue—I’d be incredibly grateful!
I have a collection with 3 modes: Light, Grey and Dark. The grey mode is something we created as a work around we need for our multi-brand & multi-mode DS. So today I realized that the Grey mode is not working and actually it looks different in the variable Panel. While the “light” and “Dark” titles are in bold, grey is just in regular. I couldn’t find the reason why is that and is the only hint i have about why is not applying this mode, but I don’t know what it means that the collection mode name is not in bold like the ones working. Help please!
Figma's performance over the past month has been incredibly frustrating to deal with. I'm constantly stuck waiting while the system tries to update the page — and it happens randomly, even after making the smallest changes to a file. I understand having to wait after pulling in updates from my design system, but being interrupted at random with no clear reason is really disruptive. This happens at least 20 times a day, and each time I’m stuck waiting for 30 seconds to a full minute. It’s a major disruption to my workflow. On top of that, even when the page isn't reloading, the overall performance just feels sluggish. For example, when I update text in a component, there’s often a 2–5 second delay before the change is applied. These little delays really add up and kill my flow. Some additional context: I’m using the desktop app exclusively My internet connection is strong and stable This happens every single day, across nearly all my projects I’ve tried restarting Figma, checking fo
Hi, I don't know what has changed but I get this message "we noticed changes in your account...." when I want to publish a new version of my plugin (screenshot attached). I even added dynamic pages and there is no error marked. I wrote to that email but only an AI bot responded. I answered that but no reply. What can be done to resolve this?I need to publish a critical fix of my plugin “MATE”.Thanks!
We are now using MCP server in Android Studio using Github Copilot Agent, We have enabled MCP server in Figma, then it is connected in Android Studio Copilot then when we give figma selected design link to android copilot agent it says, it cannot directly access your Figma selection or extract design specs from Figma automatically. My expection is, when we give a link to copilot and say it to make UI, it should work,How I can achieve this with android studio
I encountered a very headheadache problem today. Without any limit prompt, my figma make kept telling me "Try again with fewer inputs". I tried different inputs but couldn't ask questions. If this conversation is too long to ask questions in this make, is there a way to migrate my code to a new make to start a new conversation?
Hi everyone,I'm having an issue with Figma that I hope someone can help me with.Whenever I export or download images (PNG/JPG) from Figma, the files often appear to be corrupted. They either won’t open at all, or show broken, blank, or distorted areas. This happens both in the browser version and the Figma desktop app. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:- Exporting in different formats (PNG, JPG, SVG)- Changing resolution settings (1x, 2x, etc.)- Downloading from different browsers (Chrome, Edge)- Using the desktop app (same issue occurs)- Clearing cache and restartingDespite all of this, the issue still happens — especially with large images or frames that include shadows, gradients, or blur effects.Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what could be causing it or how to resolve it?Thanks in advance for your help!
Since the last Figjam update on the Ipad app, I cant see which color is selected on the pen/highlighter/etc.
Why did you mess up the cursor work so badly? So inconvenient and not accurate. Now it's simply impossible to move small objects without zooming to them a hundred times. The zoom cursor used to be conveniently located on the outside of the corner, now it's always on the top left for all corbers.Working with the gradient cursor is just torture. Hit the gradient point handle is a quest. But the ugliest part is that the object creation cursor is now completely faux.It doesn't draw the shape where it is expected, but draws it offset from the cursorhttps://0x0.st/8VgY.024.mp4
Glass Style Creation Resets Frost ValueI’m trying to apply a frost value of 4 to a frame and then creating Effect Style for use in other places. Once I’m done configuring the glass style settings on a dummy frame, I click the “Create Style” plus icon and instantly the “Frost” value inside the glass style configuration gets reset to 24. The value can be changed back to 4 or any other but this change is not reflected in the actual style and glass stays blurry as it would be for a Frost of 24. Looks like a simple background blur and does not get cleared as the Frost value is lowered.
I’m currently working on a dashboard using the new grid system of AutoLayout but I can’t find a way to add new rows to a frame without distorting the elements I’ve already placed on the grid. I started with a 10x8 square grid an then decided to add more rows to fit other components; if I add them from the grid options it will keep the frame size and fit the new rows within the height it has, changing the row height. From there I’d have to adjust the height of the frame manually so I could keep the same row height I had before. Is there a way to define the width and height of the columns and rows? wouldn’t it be easier if I could add rows with the same row-height that would adjust automatically the height of the frame if there’s enough space on the parent frame?Example before adding the rowsAfterWhat I wanted (adjusted manually (not sure if I kept the same row height without a calculator))How I think it could work:Ex: Add a new row in a Word table (similar to Google sheets)
For a long time, the figma pen has been lagging, but that’s fine because we’ve been patiently waiting for them to fix it and could still make do. But recently, I don’t know if it’s because of the updates, but the pen function has been horrible when I use my graphics tablet. Not only does it lag (as it has always done), but it is faint and you have to press down real hard for it to work. I can’t write using my laptop touch pad but it works better with the touch pad. Please Figma team, help me out because using Figma is now becoming next to impossible for a classroom setting.
