Hey, this topic is already a running issue for years but suddenly the work around is not working anymore.For context: My team has to do a lot of reskins of specific features. Formerly we copy and pasted whole pages into a new file which kept the components and more importantly the instances in the mockups linked to the components below (Export area). The page components have imbedded instances form master components on a separate page in case we want to batch change them.If we use the copy paste method now it creates only instances in the “Export” area. The instances in the mockups still link to the copied page. This basically brakes our whole workflow.I tried plugins but they only copy/past single components - I need the whole page structure intact.The only thing I can think of right now is having the master component page as library and create a new file for every reskin. But this is so much extra effort with changing the current structure and also contradicts our whole Figma project

I am not able to access the dev license on my account. I have to view annotations.

When I am annotating a layer or frame, I usually go to the layer panel to select the next layer/frame I want to annotate and not directly on the artboard for accuracy. But when I do this the annotation I just worked on does not save.I always have to click into the art board to make sure it saves and then click layer panel. It’s not intuitive and frustrating when we’re dozens and hundreds of annotations.

简体汉字“类”在figma中错误显示，应为“米”“大”结构，而非“米”“犬”，Figma中这个字一直显示错误，不知道如何替换为正确的简体中文汉字。The simplified Chinese character “类”，is“米”（means “rice”）above “大”（means “big”），but not“米”above“犬”（means “dog”）。“米”+“犬”seems to be a  character in Japanese？Anyway，the  one  shown in  Figam is not the riagt character “类” in simplified Chinese 

I’m receiving the below error when I try to Unassign a team within an existing Workspace in the Admin panel. I am an Org admin.  

I'm using the new product which is figma buzz, I was in the middle of my design, just like usual figma file, I'm trying to view the design in outline mode, in a regualr figma file, it's working but in figma buzz its not working, is this a bug or it's disabled in figma buzz natively?

hi, I made an overlay that contains a component with two states: Start and Enabled. Interacting with the overlay in Start state moves it to Enabled state.In the Enabled state, component has a Close button.On the Close button, I added actionsclose overlay set component back back to Start stateWhen I run the prototype, the second action never gets executed. The component remains in the Enabled state when the overlay is opened again. If I switch the order of the actions, the component returns to Start state but the overlay does not close. Only the first action is being executed.For now, I’m trying to find a workaround but this is very annoying and it’s cost enough time that it’s compromising a tight deadline. Figma, please fix.  

In my Iphone frame I have create a bottom bar component and I want the bottom bar to stay fixed in place and when ever I try to select the Fixed (stay in place) option I am unable to select that option , why is that ?? I want that fixed :(

BUG: Whenever I try to customise the colour of a line of a square to a custom colour (not one that’s already listed as part of the options), then the whole square changes colour, and doesnt allow me to have a custom colour outline with a white inner.  

In some cases, the export dialog is not showing the field for file name on OSX (I have tested the same on Windows, and the issue is not present there). I have observed the behaviour consistently every time.How to reproduce:Create a section with a name including ‘/’ (such as “Products list / Filtered”) Create a section inside this with an empty name The reason for the desire to not give it a name is simple: when the section is exported, the PNG actually includes the section name in the top left, which is undesirable in my specific case Place any frame and/or element inside this section When you are trying to export the inner section (the unnamed one) to PNG, the export dialog is missing the file name field, which is unfortunate since “.png” is not a valid name, so Figma is unable to complete the export.The issue is immediately solved if the ‘/’ is removed from the name of the outer section.I’m not sure if this is a bug or a feature gone wrong, but since the same doesn’t happen on Window

Hi, it appears the eyedropper tool is not working at all after the latest round of updates. I’ve already read this article, which outlines new eyedropper functionalities that I’m looking forward to. However, when I toggle the eyedropper and start hovering around my file, it does not correctly pick up any color--I can see in the color picker window that the eyedropper is bouncing all over the color spectrum, seemingly at random. When I eventually click over a color in my file, the eyedropper is consistently pulling random values, all at randomized opacity values, too.In the screenshots attached, I had hovered over this swatch on my color palette in the file, and the eyedropper returned this random purple value at 1.57% opacity (using this as an example because you can clearly see the proper hex value on my swatch vs. the value the eyedropper returned). Seems like a bug, or perhaps I’m missing something about its new settings and capabilities. I use this tool a lot so I’d appreciate any

As of last week, I suddenly cannot export anything but PNGs.  Example:   if you select the icon and try to change the export from png to svg, it reverts to png.

I recently canceled my Professional Dev seats subscription, expecting the cancellation to take effect immediately. However, my invoice shows: $15 credit for unused Dev seat time (as expected) $20 charge for Professional Full seats, which I never selected or approved This left a $5 net charge.From my understanding of Figma’s prorated billing policy, prorated charges should only apply to seat types I’ve approved or requested. In this case, I did not approve or initiate a switch from Dev to Full seats — the change appears to have been applied automatically at cancellation.I would like: Confirmation of whether a seat type change occurred in my account logs. The timestamp and trigger source for this change (whether initiated by me, another admin, or automatically by the system). A refund for the $5 charge, as I did not request this seat type. Thank you for looking into this.

I am getting this on Figma Connect when I am trying to publish  Validation failed for Button : node is not a top level component or component set. Please check that the node is not a variant What does it mean? Which node, the React node the Figma node?  Thanks,Aris

Hey fellas, I have a few black screen/empty pages in my preview and I can’t find what is the issue in the file or it is a bug? Any suggestions why it is happening?

I have been using Figma Make since last 3 days for my project. I sent a prompt after which it showed 10+ warning. I clicked on fix these warnings and it is taking forever to fix those warnings. Also, it is not taking any other prompt after this. Please help me out in this. 

Slack integration stopped streaming comments to the channel

Everything look alike and the position of the UI keeps on changing. It’s been a few weeks trying the new UI and I’m so much slower and inefficient with this new layout. I used to believe Figma would be my long term tool, but now I’m not so sure about that. 

Figma Beta app is not installing in windows 11 pc. 

I’m designing a multilingual website using Figma Sites and I’ve set up string variables with multiple modes (for example, en and de) to enable language switching. However, when I try to use the “Set variable mode” interaction in the prototype settings (under the “Add interaction” panel), this option is not appearing or is unavailable in the list.I've followed the steps to create a variable collection with multiple modes and applied the string variables correctly to my text layers. I'm also on Professional plan, and I believe my plan supports at least two modes.Could you please let me know: Why the “Set variable mode” interaction is not showing up? Are there any plan limitations or conditions under which this interaction becomes available in Figma Sites? Is there something I might be missing in setup or publishing workflow? Looking forward to your assistance to resolve this issue.

Здравствуйте! Столкнулась с проблемой при работе с компонентами. Когда нажимаю на «Создать компонент»: на холсте появляется рядом с названием 4 заполненных ромба как мастер набор, а в панели Layers показывается 4 пустых ромба как копии. Если создаю копию инстанса и жму на «подняться к родителю», меня возвращает к тому же фрейму с 4 пустыми ромбами (копиями). Получаю расхождение статуса между холстом и Layers. Из-за этого недоступны обычные функции для «мастера»: Detach/Отсоединить экземпляр и Swap/Замена и т. д. Скриншот приложила. Подскажите пожалуйста, как исправить?Что уже пробовала:Перезапуск приложения и файла. Разгруппировать → снова «Создать новый компонент». Копировать в новый файл. Проверить, не объединены ли объекты в набор/варианты.
