I’ve been trying to reach costumer support for weeks but somehow I’m not getting a response.

My original billing amount was for annual renewal is incorrect as I don’t want to renew with two seats. I have removed one user and only want to pay for one seat annually. How do I make that change as I keep getting reminders to clear the wrong invoice without any support from Figma?

Hey @Satya Singh, thanks for reaching out!

I can see that you’ve submitted a support ticket today (#1653919), and I’ve just escalated this internally to make sure it gets proper attention. The support team should be in touch with you shortly to help resolve this.

For context, Seats are purchased for the duration of your billing term. Before your next renewal date, you’ll have the chance to remove any unused seats from your account from your Billing overview page.

If you need to remove a user’s access prior to your next renewal, you can either:

  • Change their seat to the free View seat, which provides only view and comment access to Figma Design, FigJam, and Figma Slides.

  • Remove the user from the team (Professional plan).

In both scenarios, their previous seat is made available for someone else to use for the remainder of the subscription period.

You can remove available (unassigned) seats at your next plan renewal.

  • For annual plans, thirty days before your annual plan is set to renew, you’ll see a banner at the top of your Figma admin. Click Review seats to open a modal to adjust the number of seats on your plan for your next renewal.
  • For monthly Professional plans, there is no renewal period. You can make changes to seats on a monthly subscription at any time. Unassigned seats will not be renewed for the next month.

You can also find more details in our Help Center article here: Manage seats in Figma.

Thank you for your patience in the meantime!
