Figma Make Issues with image upload and point-and-edit !!!

Figma Make is breaking whenever I want to try point- and-edit as well as prompt with attached image for design reference. This had started recently ! Earlier it was smoothly working. And it is happening even with fresh license with enough ai credits. Can someone help as this is significantly slowing down the design process, so much so, I had to get back to Figma Design to keep working on design assignments.

To help us pinpoint what’s going on, could you share a bit more info?

  • Is this happening in the desktop app, the browser, or both?

  • Have you tried duplicating the file to see if it behaves differently?

  • What were you doing right before it broke?

  • How many prompts with attached images were you submitting, and what kind of prompts were they (short, long, or packed with info)?

If possible, a quick screen recording would be super helpful so we can see exactly what’s happening on your end. Your input will really help us troubleshoot this faster, thank you!

Hi Gayani_S,

Here are my responses with additional new issue:
 

  • Is this happening in the desktop app, the browser, or both?
    - Browser. I don’t use desktop app.

  • Have you tried duplicating the file to see if it behaves differently?
    - I did. Same issue !

  • What were you doing right before it broke?
    - Either select element to edit OR added image and prompt to get ai response.

  • How many prompts with attached images were you submitting, and what kind of prompts were they (short, long, or packed with info)?
    Usually short prompts like image replacement OR refer image for design suggestions.
  • New Issue - The design interface getting auto refreshed in regular intervals. Specially embarrassing when client demo is ongoing !!!
