Hello Figma Team, I’m a student from Northeastern University, Boston campus. I’m having a bit of an issue verifying my student account for Figma, even though I have official information to verify my status, and now exceeded the number of attempts.  I looked up multiple forum posts about similar cases as mine, and the advice I read is to contact SheerID support directly & ask them to reset my attempts. I followed the troubleshooting steps that Ariadna provided for me, but I still don’t have student access :( [image redacted by moderator - ksn] 

Hello!I have a very unpleasant situation. I accidentally deleted a team that contained all my work files. The email address associated with my account was unable to receive an email with a link to restore the team because the email's storage space was full. I have since cleared the email's storage, but the email has not been received. I urgently need to regain access to this team, and I am pleading with you for assistance. Hi, I am new here, though for someday I have seen in recent updates, I have seen that slider of the stops of each gradient values aren't working, but its working in different sections like fill color and in UI details panel though, anybody facing the same issue here? If anyone have a solution or I am making some mistakes happy to know about them 

I want to copy typography styles from one folder to another, but everytime I paste it, it goes to the same folder from where I’ve copied it. I’ve tried duplicating, copying with cmd+c. cmd+v, but it doesn’t work. I know I can do it manually, but it would cost me a lot of time. Is there a fix to it? It supposed to be in the New folder, but it is duplicated in the product folder. 

I’ve accidentally created a monthly subscription (monthly full seats) in addition to my existing plan. This monthly subscription is completely unused and unnecessary. Despite this, the system does not allow the user to cancel it without being charged for the current month.This is extremely frustrating, as we are being charged for a service I never intended to purchase and have not used at all, with no straightforward way to reverse the mistake. The lack of a self-service option to immediately cancel or void an unused seat makes the experience feel unfair and rigid.We therefore requesting manual intervention to cancel the extra monthly subscription and remove or refund the current month’s charges, as keeping the charge for an unused, accidentally created seat is unreasonable and not reflective of good customer experience.

I need to cancel my ticket and would like to get a refund, but any time I try to start a chat I don’t get the right topic or resolution. Who should I contact/how can I complete the cancellation?

I’m sending a get_code request to the Figma MCP server via Cursor AI.Here is the request body I’m using:{ "nodeId": "XXXX:XXXX", "clientLanguages": "kotlin", "clientFrameworks": "android,compose", "clientName": "cursor" } However, the response I receive is in JSX (JavaScript XML) format with Tailwind CSS classes, not Kotlin.I would expect either Kotlin code (Jetpack Compose) or at least a clean JSON representation of the selected frame.Question:How can I retrieve Kotlin code or a raw JSON object for the selected frame?

Hi!My team has noticed an odd behavior. We share prototype links with clients and internal stakeholders all the time and have been moving designs between pages and the URL’s we’ve shared have been linking to the correct design for a while now. Our workflow for a specific client is to have designs on a page for internal review, and once internally approved move the design to another page for external review with client. We use the move to feature to keep the comments and linking like it should be doing. We’ve noticed if we share the link via the prototype (play and then click the share button) the link resolved when the design has been moved to the other page. However if we copy the link from the flows panel under the prototype tab - the link breaks most of the time.  In looking at the URL from each way to share the prototype they product different URL links. Sharing directly from the prototype gives a URL that includes Pa

When I use find and replace, the text I use for replacement always gets the first letter capitalized. Example below:Find: “sample text”replace: “example content”“This is the paragraph with the sample text.” will get updated to “This is the paragraph with the Example content.”The typography style is set as “Case: As typed” Is this a bug or is there a different reason this is happening?

Hey, what happened with cropping raster image? Previously function worked as simple as holding Ctrl and dragging the edge. Now it crops from both sides. Do you have a new Art Director, Figma? Please fire him asap!

MCP Server works, but Code Connect UI does not appear in Dev Mode. Can you enable Code Connect UI for our workspace please?

Hello team, Yesterday i applied for figma for education and got verified using sheer ID. I then signed up to figma. But, account is still showing as free. when i click on free button, its giving me option to upgrade but not showing education option. but already my student account was verified and approved via sheer id, but not reflecting in the figma account. i tried logging out and logging in, creating new team and everything possible. but nothing helped. Hi, I’m not able to view the MCP server integration option in the Figma Desktop app in Preferences on Mac ow Windows, I am a paid professional (full Seat), pls see screenshot, I have the latest version of the desktop app also, please advise what I may be missing?  

I am currently a student and cannot verify myself to get access to the student plan. I have already spoken to the course provider and they say its because my account was created a while ago, which does not make any sense to me. I have also changed my Role to Education through settings. Can someone help?

Hello,I have been trying to verify my student status (for the student plan) for a couple of weeks now without success.Every time I submit the application, I receive an error message at the very end of the process.  "We're unable to verify you using the information submitted. Please check your information for accuracy, and only use your own mobile device or computer."Despite checking several times, every informations provided is correct but the result is the same. I have now exceeded the verification limit and can’t try again.I have tried to reach out to SheerID support a few times, but they’ve proved totally unhelpful, only sending me generic automated responses without providing any insight or help. They’ve closed every tickets without offering advice or solving anything.Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’ve already been missing out on quite a few teams projects, and deadlines are right in the corner.Tha

I have been experimenting with Figma MCP server(local) with Augment in Intillij IDEA and it was working fine until Nov 25. But last week when I was working, it started returning error -{"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-32001,"message":"Invalid sessionId"},"id":null}I checked with Admin that there is no change from their side. Also, when we load Figma design, the “Enable Figma MCP server” section shows temporarily and disappers. I have tried on two different machines with latest version of Figma desktop. The tools are loading. Thank you 

Hello!I tried re verification for FIGMA student, but it was showing network error even though network was good, and continuously trying it was still showing the same error.Then it started showing Verification limit exceeded.So I contacted sheerID via mail, they responded with:We were unable to process your verification request. And Your ticket has now been permanently closed.I mail them again and again still got no solution.. If it's possible resetting the verification limit, please do it.Please provide the solution for this issue otherwise I won't be able to re verify student plan.I have also attached the image for better clarification.
