Urgent: Unable to Install Custom Fonts on iPad – Affecting My Ability to Work

Hello Figma Support Team,

I'm reaching out because I'm experiencing a serious issue with installing and using custom fonts on my iPad.

I urgently need access to custom fonts to complete my work, but despite my attempts, I haven't been able to get them working in Figma on my iPad. This is creating a very difficult situation for me professionally.

My ability to complete the tasks assigned to me depends on having access to these fonts. If I cannot resolve this issue, I may even lose my job. I'm extremely worried about this because I genuinely don't want to lose my position over a technical limitation that I cannot fix myself.

I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me find a solution as soon as possible. Could you please clarify whether custom fonts are supported on the iPad version of Figma and, if so, provide detailed instructions on how to install and use them?

This is genuinely important to me, and I would really appreciate any assistance you can offer.

    Hey ​@leyashi - I understand the urgency with having the fonts available on your iPad.

    At this time, you cannot install custom fonts for Figma using a mobile device. You will only be able to do this on a computer, via browser or desktop app. Please see this help page for additional information.

    Additionally -- if you do install custom fonts on your computer, and add them to a design while working on the desktop app or web browser: you may run into rendering issues with any prototypes you preview (since the font won’t be installed on your device).

    I do not currently have any workaround for Figma specifically, but I did flag your request for this capability in the future.

    You probably can use custom fonts on your iPad. Try to manually upload them in your account:

    Go to main page (file browser) → Open the menu on left top corner → Settings → Your uploaded fonts → Upload font
