Editing Issue in Figma Desktop App – Education Verification

Hello Figma Support,

I'm experiencing an issue with the Figma desktop app. I can't edit my files because the app asks me to verify my Education status.

However, when I use Figma in my web browser with the same account, I can edit my files without any issues, and no verification is required.

Could you please help me understand why this happens and how I can resolve it?

    In Figma Desktop App in recents there is a filter with Subscription after selecting all Subs, it worked again. I really don’t know what happened but it helped.

    Hey ​@Billy_Gbssg, thanks for reaching out! 

    The Education plan is set up per team, so the desktop app and your browser can behave differently if they’re showing different teams or different accounts. If a file is in an Education team and your education status isn’t verified or has expired, you’ll be asked to verify before you can keep editing there.

    Here’s what I’d try.

    1. Check you’re signed in to the same account in both places by comparing the email address shown in each.
    2. Compare the team name in the left sidebar of the file browser in both. The files you can edit in your browser may sit in a different team from the ones showing the prompt.
    3. If the team showing the prompt is an Education team, check that your education status is still current. It lasts a set period, and it’s tied to the email you verified with, so it’s worth checking the email on your account hasn’t changed since. You can reverify on the Education status application page while signed in to that account.
    4. If everything matches, sign out of the desktop app and sign back in.

    Its not my Teamproject folder. Its a school project that i got invited into. I can edit in his file on browser but not in mine. I checked the Edu Status and its on browser and Desktop app. I already tried to re-login.
