Pixelated/blurry exports at 2x on macOS Tahoe — Figma Desktop 126.10.13

Question

Since updating the Figma desktop app (around 2 updates ago), all PNG exports at 2x are pixelated — including text and vector content, not just images. The issue reproduces in both the Figma desktop app (v126.10.13) and in Chrome browser. Pixel preview at 2x also shows the same pixelation, while the canvas/artboard looks fine at normal zoom. I'm on a high-DPI (Retina) display running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2.

I tried chatting through support chat, and it cannot really resolve my issue. If anyone can help me with this, that would be grateful. Thank you so much.

This sounds like a possible rendering or export issue rather than a problem with your design, especially since both text and vector elements appear pixelated in the desktop app and Chrome. Since you have already tried reinstalling and contacting support, I would suggest checking whether other users on the same Figma version are experiencing it. Hopefully, someone from the Figma team can investigate this regression and provide a fix.
