I published new plugin: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1572223324912824909/figma-mcp-serverInitially, it was marked as “This page is private for now. Only you can see it while your plugin is in review.”. Then, after some time text was changed to “Your resource is unpublished. Only you can see this page. To republish this resource, publish a new version using a plugin with the same id.”I didn’t get any emails from Figma. I am not sure what had happened.I submitted plugin one more time today. What could happen? What could be the problem?

Hey ​@Celine_ ​@ksn I have been observing that Figma Make is being buggy since today. Everything is glitching, taking alot of time to refresh or load. Even on the sites that are published, the sites are taking time to load, the interfaces glitches when I am shifting my app tabs. Sometimes it just gets stuck for a few seconds.Even in the apps where the supabase is connected, the data seems to glitch before loading and takes time to appear.

When I click dropdown menu on a file the menu options load so slowly that I am constantly clicking the wrong thing.  

Is this a bug?The design is not rotated! This is happening on all my designs in my workspace.Figma is up to date, I just updated it this morning. Wed Nov 26 10:00 AM EST. I am using an Enterprise account with the Figma desktop app on a MacBook Pro (2023). The computer is also up to date and was restarted this morning. The internet connection and VPN are stable and strong.In this screenshot of my workspace, when I hover over the Auto Layout Gap value it is labeled as Horizontal gap even though it is a vertical gap in the visual design and the icon in the Gap field is a vertical gap icon.This component is simply squares in a grid. Nothing else. It is not rotated. It’s just a square inside of other squares. This is happening on all frames in my workspace. And my colleague also can see it on their account from their, separate computer (same model).Our design library has a set of variable values for vertical spaces and horizontal spaces.I would prefer to use the correct (vertical) variables

Hello,I am a teacher at a local art and design school in Barcelona, and I have been using Figma in my classes since 2016. In previous years, my students were able to verify their student status without any issues. However, this year they are unable to complete the verification process.Our students use separate institutional email accounts (G Suite) that are different from our main school domain. When they enter these email addresses, the system does not allow them to verify their student status.Could you please advise us on how to resolve this issue?Thank you very much for your help.

I can’t verify my account for education plan via college fees receipt as my college don’t provide education email id , even sheer id don’t help me    [attachment redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]

I am a university student with the Educational Plan but unable to locate any kind of AI feature like ‘Edit Image’ or ‘Create Image’ using Nano Banana. While doing some research, I asked the Figma bot about this and it said that this is only available to paid users and not students. But as per the Figma article, uni students get the professional plan and this plan should support AI features, so why is this not available to me? I’m trying to import two large Figma files one is about 460 MB and the other around 750 MB. The import process stays in the “importing” state for a while, but the files never finish importing. On the import pop-up, when I click “Open in new tab,” nothing happens (using Figma Desktop). I tried doing this in both desktop and Chrome browser.Eventually, I get an error saying: “Figma server is unavailable—wait a bit and try again.”It’s been 3 days that I’ve been facing this issue. I’m on a Professional Plan and I’d like to give edit access to one of my clients. Unfortunately, it says that “an admin needs to update his seat”, but I’m the owner of the file, I’m the admin. I don’t want to give my client edit access to my whole team, just to this file.Can you help me understand how to give the edit access just to one file? Thanks.

Hi everyone,I’m having issues activating my Figma Education license, and I’m hoping someone from the Figma team can help.My student verification was approved by SheerID on September 25, and they confirmed that there is nothing more I need to do on their side. However, I never received any activation or confirmation email from Figma, and my account is still stuck on the Free plan.My university email (which I used for verification) is a Neptun-based address that automatically forwards to my personal inbox. I cannot access the original mailbox directly, so it’s possible that the activation email was not forwarded correctly. Unfortunately, I have not received any message — not even in spam.I have already sent multiple emails to Figma support and to the education@figma.com address, but I haven’t received any reply yet.I really need access to the Education plan for my university studies and ongoing coursework, so this is becoming quite urgent for me.Could someone from the Figma team please l

Github integration issue with FIGMA MAKE

My Make prototype was working fine today until about an hour ago (around 1:20pm MST). It seems all API calls to my Supabase db are now failing. I’m seeing this in my browser console:Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALIDfollowed by a TypeError: Failed to fetchNothing has been updated or changed in my db for the past 24hrs. I’m seeing traffic come through in Supabase logs but my frontend isn’t connecting. Please help, this is URGENT!

I have tried many times to verify my student account, however, each time it says that I may be opening a VPN or not signed up with my school account  Maybe I am missing these ID’s as they mentioned that on my side of the request, but I don’t know what these mean.No Program IDNo Verification IDExternal User ID Not Present

I created a project in Figma Make. At first it worked well, but now the AI ignores at least half of my requested changes; some aren’t made at all. I request changes in different ways and receive confirmation that they were applied, yet the UI remains unchanged. I need urgent help: I must present my prototype but can’t finish it because the AI stops responding to my requests or claims, even though it says it did the changes, but it hardly makes any changes anymore.

Connect a Domain button is disabled in Connected Domain section

For some reason, I can not anymore connect my local FigmaMCP(using figma desktop) to anthropic inspector… It was work fine, but after restart of Figma it stops.. I was restarting machine etc, but still have connection issue. I can connect via GH Copilot, but can not via inspector… is it any whitelisting introduced or something?...

However, I'm encountering an error that's preventing me from completing the verification process.The issue is when I try to verify, I receive the message: "Verification Limit Exceeded - We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer." What happened is that initially, I received a "we're having troubles, please verify later" error. I waited a few days and tried again, which resulted in the "Verification Limit Exceeded" message. I've attempted multiple times over the past few weeks, but continue to see the same error page.I'm unsure if my re-verification actually went through or if my account is still pending. Hi,normally, when you try to create a second variable with the same name (next to next), Figma returns this issue:Variable names must be unique within a collection But, if a variable doesn’t exist yet and will be created in the main and branch in parallel, and you then merge the branch, you have a duplicated variable.Since, Figma doesn’t normally allow doubled names, this looks like a bug.variable duplication with same name

Hi there!Our filename syntax is generally [Feature name] - [Feature ID]. However, when the file name’ length is medium-long, it is trimmed (In Figma Desktop). I thought I could see the full name in the tab tooltip, but since Figma displays the cover instead, we cannot see the full name:One could argue that we could move the Feature ID at the beginning of the file name, but then we wouldn’t see the feature name, which is also really useful.Is there any way we could see the entire filename when we mouse over the tab?

Hey there Figma team.I enjoy working with variables, but my team and I are currently facing two annoying issues related to the variables panel.First one:When I open variables panel, then try to copy something from a text layer from my Figma canvas by using ctrl+c, and then I try to paste it somewhere outside of Figma (in gmail, in slack, in google docs, etc), the paste never works. I just paste whatever was in my clipboard before I copied that text. It looks like Figma doesn’t register ctrl+c action on a layer, as long as the variables panel stays opened. Second one:Normally, when I edit a text layer and hit ESC, it is registered as ‘confirm’ action. However, while variables panel is opened, hitting that ESC while editing a text on the canvas results in closing variables panel instead. It can be extremely annoying if I’m working on something simultaneously on canvas, and in variables. I hope both bugs can be addressed sooner then later :) Best,Figma enjoyer
