Hi, My student club has an Education plan where we keep our Figma files. Our account was locked and we we’re asked to re-verify. I went through the re-verification forum and hit the error saying “Verification limit exceeded”. I then contacted SheerID and they got back to me saying they cannot process my verification request or offer further support. Please advise me on what can be done for my Education benefits to continue as this has halted a major portion of our work. Thank you

Hi Figma team,I encountered an issue while working on my project today. I didn’t have one of the project fonts installed on my computer, so Figma showed a “font missing” message.To continue working, I replaced the missing font only for one frame that I was editing — not the entire file. However, after doing this, many text layers in the file started to change to the replacement font automatically, even though they were linked to text styles and I hadn’t modified them.Now, when I click on any text layer (even ones with the correct style linked), it suddenly switches to the replacement font.
In the desktop Figma app, when I collapse the sidebar to a compact view, there is no way to switch pages while maintaining that compact view. It would be ideal if I could at least open pages in separate tabs, but instead, all pages within the same project are consolidated into a single tab (split view is possible, but not what I'm looking for). If it weren't for this "overly helpful" design choice, navigating between pages wouldn't be such a struggle (because showing/hiding the sidebar affects bothsides, making the screen extremely narrow, and constantly toggling it is inelegant).

Im really trying to make Figma Slides my go-to above google slides, but every single time i turn to it i have to go back to google because i cant add videos to slides without inevitably erroring out and being removed. I have the correct Figma License Ive deleted cache/Desktop Profile folder religiously. Sometimes buys me 1 video before erroring again, usually not even that. Videos im trying to add are .h264 mp4’s and usually under 10mbSometimes i can get a few videos added, but once 1 errors out, from then on its fighting the errors and i abandon figma and begrudgingly end up back in google slides where i can at least simply videos and gifs without issue.
I have three students who cannot verify their education status here at our college though they have accepted the invite into my team. SheerID have now prevented their ability to verify. Please advise.
Hi! I'm experiencing a strange issue with a carousel prototype in Figma.When I open the prototype while logged into my Figma account, the carousel breaks — it looks misaligned or deformed. But when I open the exact same prototype in an incognito window (without being logged in), the carousel displays perfectly and works as expected.I’ve already tried: Rebuilding the carousel from scratch Double-checking auto layout and constraints Publishing a fresh prototype link The issue still happens, but only when I'm logged in. I also tested it across different browsers, and a teammate experienced the same problem on her account, so it doesn't seem to be user-specific.Has anyone else run into this? Could it be a bug or something related to session-based rendering in Figma?Thanks in advance!
I pasted a large block of text into a box, and it slows the system down so much that it’s unusable. The rest of the page is unaffected. I have to break it up into smaller parts, which is fine, except it’s just long legal text which all needs to stay together.Maybe it’s because the text is in German (therefore most of the text is underlined in red), but that seems unlikely.Not sure how to report the problem to the developers.

Hello,Figma Mirror hasn't been working for few days on my iPhone.It used to work “ok” before but now, every time I want to use Mirror, I just see a black screen no matter what I try. The app correctly shows the selected frame prior to mirroring but as soon as I tap on “Begin mirroring”, I see nothing but a black screen.I tried with different projects... I restarted Figma on macOS... I rebooted my Mac... I urgently need access to Figma's education plan for coursework, but I’ve been completely blocked by the SheerID verification process.Here’s what has happened so far: I used Figma's education plan for a year and when it was time to reverify I submitted the verification form, but when I submitted my documents, there was an error. I tried it two more times and it gave an error. When I made another try, it said "verification limit exceeded". I reached SheerID multiple times and each time their response was "While we can't offer further details or support for this specific inquiry, please ensure all information submitted is accurate and meets the eligibility criteria for future attempts. Hi everyone,I used to work at a company where I created a FigJam file using my company Google account. That account has since been deleted, but I recently found that the file is still publicly accessible and even appears in Google search results.The file contains internal company processes, so it really shouldn’t be visible to the public. I tried to change the sharing settings, but since my old Google account no longer exists, I can’t access or manage the file at all.Is there any way to delete or hide the file from public view (for example, by contacting Figma support or submitting a removal request)?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not sure if this is related, but I just upgraded to OSX Tahoe and now I can’t add additional accounts to the Figma desktop app. When I try to add an account through the web browser, the app either crashes, or it keeps saying “It expired, try on desktop app,” and then crashes. How can I fix this?I just logged out the main account and seemed like I can’t log back in to the app at all. The browser just crashes over and over.
We have a modal wizard component with a header and footer and content section with a slot for scrolling content. The header and footer are nested components and absolutely positioned: Yet, when the nested footer component property for number of buttons is changed to a different value (e.g., 4 buttons) than what the default is in the parent component (3 buttons), the fixed positioning of the header and footer are removed. Hello Figma Support Team,I need to open a case because we are experiencing an issue with the automatic assignment of FULL seats within our team, which has already triggered unauthorized charges.We are authorized for only one FULL seat (Figma Make) associated with my email: [redacted - design].However, around three weeks ago, the system automatically assigned an additional FULL seat to the user [redacted 2 - oscar]. I manually disabled it. Recently, another FULL seat was automatically assigned to [redacted 3 - laura]. I'm not sure if this happened because they used Figma Make under the free usage flow and, since they already had an existing user profile, the system automatically converted them to a FULL license. They did not request this, and I only noticed it once the license was already active.This means Figma assigned additional FULL licenses without a manual request, manual approval, or administrative confirmation on our side. As a result, these unauthorized seats generated charges
Added a version to the version history. It saved to the version history with my notes in the description, but when reviewing the versions, it showed a different user has created that version and added notes. In this screenshot, I am user two, a different user is user one. I saved both “Components” and published “components” in the version history - they should both be me. Is this a known bug? How do I fix this issue?
Any updates on this??From my own experience of using Figma’s AI tool, I tried to generate a visual storyboard project, all uploaded images and GIFs appear correctly within the editor. However, when exporting a preview link via the “Share” or “Export Preview” button, the preview loads completely blank — all frames revert to “Drop image/GIF/video” placeholders.Upon reviewing the generated code, it appears the export function is embedding all uploaded assets directly into the URL as base64 data (using btoa(JSON.stringify(frames))). This causes the generated preview link to exceed browser URL length limits. When the link is opened, the query string is truncated or rejected, resulting in the preview loading without any media content.In short: Assets display fine in the editor. Preview links show no content (blank placeholders). Duplicating, re-uploading, or using prototype links doesn’t resolve it. The issue occurs for all collaborators — not a local or permission-related issue. Roo
