Unexpected charge after canceling subscription – refund request

Hello,

I paid USD 20 on February 5 for the Figma subscription.
However, I canceled the paid plan on March 3.

Despite canceling the subscription before the renewal date, I was charged USD 30 on March 5.

Could you please check this issue and process a refund as soon as possible?

Thank you.

Hi @김만덕,

I understand you were charged $30 on March 5, despite having canceled your plan on March 3, and would like to request a refund.

After checking, here’s what we found:

  • One of your teams was on a monthly Professional plan that was cancelled during the last billing term.
  • You originally had one Full seat, but two additional Full seats were added before the end of the billing term.

Just to clarify:

Figma doesn’t offer prorated refunds when a plan is canceled. If you’re on a monthly plan, the seat stays active until the end of the billing period you already paid for.

Any prorated charges for seats that weren’t billed during the previous billing term are added to the next invoice. This is expected billing behavior.

In your case, the previous billing period included a $20 charge for a Full seat. The $30 charge on your most recent invoice is a prorated charge for the additional Full seats that weren't billed earlier.

For privacy and security reasons we can’t discuss individual billing details in the forum, I’ll go ahead and create a support ticket(#1778426) on your behalf so our specialist can review your request.

They will follow up directly via the ticket email, please continue the conversation there.
