Hi, I have a verified Educational plan, as seen below. It says it includes all features, but I when I try to create a Figma Site, it says I need to upgrade to a Professional account. So does it have all features or not? And when I submitted the form for Figma support, the email said:“Thanks for reaching out! It looks like you're contacting us from a Starter account. Customers on this plan receive support through our Community Support Forum.” Like what plan am I even on and how can I get someone from Figma to even attempt to help? Thanks everyone. 

Hi everyone,I created a team just to share one file with a friend. Somehow, older projects I made before the team existed showed up under it. I thought I was just deleting the team—but everything got deleted.This is years of work. Has anyone experienced this? Is there any way to recover the files?Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My Figma site is no longer loading. I’ve got this error message.  

I am no longer able to access I file I created. I have the URL but I simply get a ‘request access’ screen and when requesting access I get no email. I’ve tried with all Figma accounts I have access to, but none of them has access. I can provide the URL of the file if necessary.

I have a notice on my Figma design desktop that says I must update to the lates version by Augus 13 (2025). I am in a corporate environment and my machine is locked down I need to put a request into IT for them to update the Version that have in thier software centre. Hi – I imported a PDF of an app design that I made in Adobe Photoshop into Figma using the Convertify plugin. The import went well, the PDF is indeed in Figma, but each PDF page only appears as an image. I need to create editable layers out of the images for any edits I need to make. Is there a way to do that simply or am I going to have to just rebuild the app in Figma from scratch? 

I’ve been playing around with Figma Make and it’s great so far. The only issue is that I am unable to bring my Figma Make output into a Figma Design file. I can only get so far with Figma Make, and I’d like to use the Figma editor to make final changes. Is there a way to do this?

This suddenly started about 24 hours ago and has not abated. See gif.Checking/unchecking scope boxes, adding/moving/removing variables, all of this suddenly has like 4 seconds of lag per action. It suddenly started, there was no slow onset. Everything was zippy until yesterday.I can’t work like this, the lag adds up when I’m working in here all day. Please advise. 

Hello! I’ve been noticing a surge of bugs with the latest release.Opening files within a project is not always responsive (Figma Home) Selecting a Project Folder from the sidebar has occasionally been non-responsive The back/forward navigation buttons are currently non-responsive (Figma Home) Keyboard shortcuts like CMD+scroll to zoom often get locked when not pressing cmd (not a keyboard issue – I’ve tested this with other keyboards)Figma sites-specific issues:Adding a “Block” only shows embedded html, audio, or videos – pages, navigation, heroes, and features are all hidden for an unknown reason, and only re-surfaces when I’ve force closed Figma, the project file, and re-opened it again. The insert menu in Sites is empty apart from Embeds.There used to be starter blocks which were helpful for non design folk on the team to whip together wireframes. Are these coming back or is it a bug? For contextWere on the enterprise plan. Have tried existing and creting a new site file. Have tried in desktop and browser version of the app. 

This randomly just resolved but I lost an entire day of working time because I was stuck in the following loop:I reset my password so I could use the mobile app This logged me out of my session on browser, so I had to log back in Wouldn’t let me use google, so had to use password Used my new password, entered the authentication code texted via SMS to my phone Looked like it was logging me in but brought me to the Figma home page with the “login” link at top right I would then try that log in link, and it would try to use SSO or whatever the acronym is, and it wouldn’t accept my organization’s security key…. Rinse and repeat like 20 times today. Wrote to support, no one answered.

I am trying to change my account to a student account after switching from teacher to a student in an App Development bootcamp. I am having trouble finding a way to switch. When I try to verify, it tells me I am already verified when I click “Get verified”.

I am struggling with a modal with backdrop component that I am trying to make. The idea is that I have a component with auto frame set. Inside is an instance of a modal component. The modal component is set to auto layout and consists of 3 frames; a header, body, and footer. Within the body, I have an instance of a component called “slot” that is 5px tall.When I create an instance of the modal with backdrop component, and swap out the “slot” component with another one, the content of that new component gets cut off. Instead, I want the modal component to grow to fit the content. Below, I have pictured the component (not the instance but you get the idea). In the below component, I know I can just drag the modal taller but in the instance I can’t do that. How would I accomplish my task?  

I saw this topic but seems the most recent is still a year old. I tried everything mentioned yet when I’m in design mode and show presentation then copy the link and try it ina browser I;m not logged into, I sitll see the force account gate. I tried this on both desktop app and browser. No dice. Please advise.

Coming from Sketch sharing is pretty simple and straightforward but I got charged sharing from Figma and trying to avoid that again. Can I share any file as view only and not have to worry about getting charged? And in View only can they use the inspect view?

Previous highly conveinient way to resize an element into grid increments (multiple of 8 for instance), is to click and drag on the “W” and “H” of the dimension settings, while holding shift. This is not possible anymore?

Hi!I'm exploring the new features in Figma and I'm particularly interested in Figma Make. However, I've noticed that the results it generates are a bit generic. In fact, even with different prompts from different people, the outputs tend to be very similar. Is there any way to make Figma Make learn from my own projects, turning my explorations into applied patterns?Thank you!
