Hyperlinks - Mailto: does not work

I’m adding hyperlinks to an editable template in Figma Buzz, and the ‘Mailto:’ function does not seem to work (says invalid link every time). Is there a way around this? I found a plugin to try, but apparently I cannot open the desired plugin within Buzz (fault with Buzz it seems?). ‘Manage plugins’ does nothing in Buzz...

It should work by default without any plugin. I just tested it and it worked just fine as long you are not trying to add the mailto to a text that is rendered as an email address.

My suggestion:

  1. Write the mailto:email@domain.com as a separate text
  2. Copy it
  3. Select the text you want to link
  4. Paste it.

@giliard thank you - the problem seemed to be the email address I was directing to (which included a subject line function). I removed that and it’s now functioning as expected, thanks!

This link function used to open the preferred email client on the end-users computer, but now it’s simply just opening a blank tab in a browser for me?
