I’m unable to bulk load images as file paths in Figma Buzz. I tried both csv and xlsx files and when I upload the file it reads it as a text field . I’m just wondering if we are doing something wrong? Thanks

Hi @Michael Drella ,

I understand you're having trouble importing images via an XLSX file to Figma Buzz. Please note that image uploads are only supported with XLSX file types.

I just tested this on my end by following the guide " Bulk create assets in Figma Buzz ," and it recognized the image as expected.

Just to cover all the bases, could you please check the following?

  • When adding images, place them directly within a single cell in your spreadsheet.
  • Ensure the first row contains your field headers.
  • Each subsequent row should represent a single asset.
  • Make sure you're using an XLSX file format when uploading to Figma Buzz.

If you're still facing the same issues after checking the points and HC guide above, could you please share a video recording demonstrating the behavior? Please include your full Figma Buzz screen in the recording. This will help us understand exactly what you're seeing and how we can best assist you.

Thanks,

Hi @Junko3,

Thanks for helping me trouble shoot this issue. I was able to get the image portion to work when I put the images directly in a single cell in an XLSX file.

However,  do you know if there is a way to use a pathway for the images instead of placing each image into the cells?

Thanks for your help!
