So I’m creating a stop animation with images in figma. And I’ve selected all my components and I want to create a variant set. But I cannot see the option for this. Has it been removed or changed? 

So I’ve done everything properly steps and all created a menu with 4 buttons > applied auto layout > made it into a component > added a variant > named them as their states > prototyped as required > added the instance on to the screen and when finally presenting when I click the button it opens upside down. this has me so demotivated as I’m just beginning to learn Figma. Please help me creators.

I am trying to design a documents page like the picture above. I have a situation where I need to create a dropdown where upon selecting one of the options will create a another question prompt along with a textbox for the user to fill out. This will also push down the other content that was originally below the dropdown to fit the new question prompt along with the textbox. Is there a way to do so? 

Hi everyone,We are experiencing an issue with one of our Figma files and would appreciate your help.Basically we’re collaborating on NPI pages - both the copy and design teams are working in the same file. The specific page we were working on contains 6 sections, each with approximately 6 frames. We had been adding content (images and copy) and updating some components to showcase the correct font.At some point, several unexpected changes occurred in the layout:-Some components moved unexpectedly in the page, either upwards into other sections or downwards out of their frames.-Nested elements within components also shifted or changed in structure.-The overall organisation of the sections was disrupted without any clear action that would explain it.We’re unsure what triggered these changes, and unfortunately, we now need to manually clean up and re-organise the affected areas. Hello! I'm experiencing an issue with a component that includes a right-aligned gradient frame. The gradient has a variable applied to its width and is set to fixed positioning.When the component is resized for a different breakpoint by switching to a different mode, the gradient’s width updates correctly based on the variable. However, its position shifts inward and it no longer stays aligned with the right edge. It appears the resizing is anchored on the right side of the gradient, causing it to shift inward rather than staying aligned with the component edge.Steps to Reproduce: Create a component with a gradient frame aligned to the right edge. Create at least two modes and add different width values in these modes.  Apply the width variable to gradient.   Set the gradient to fixed positioning (right). Resize the component via mode switching. Observe that the gradient shifts and is no longer flush with the right edge. Expected Behavior:The gradient should remain fixed to t

I'm experiencing an issue with the selection tool in Figma. When I try to click and drag to select multiple items on the canvas, it often fails to work properly. Sometimes it only selects some of the items within the selection box, and other times it doesn't select anything at all even though I'm definitely dragging over layers. And then I have to select them one by one, the only way it works. 

Hi, I’m having a problem publishing a noise effect style I’ve created. Once I publish the library, everything else is able to publish aside from the noise effect (its status constantly shows ‘Added’). The error I get is this: Is this a known problem? Anything I can do to get my noise effect to publish? Thanks!

hello, i used my components in another file and changed color / text, but sometimes when I swap variants will change text or color back to original color or text. this only happened to some certain components and instances recently, i was wondering how to fix this problem so that i swap variants and instances won’t change back to original color/ text.

When copy an instance from a master component with absolute position in the text 'Tittle', the letter 'Tittle' is skewed downward. It only happens in the same file, and it works fine when copy it from the library to another file. I deleted all of the components from the component set, and it works fine again. What's the problem? The ‘nav-bar’ master component consists of auto-layout. 

Am I the only one not being able to collapse a selected layer or parent when the layers panel is scrolled down, having this item sticky?Hovering over the sticky layer shows the chevron to collapse (screenshot 1), but nothing happens on click. I need to scroll up until it’s not sticky anymore in order to have the chevron working on click (screenshot 2). Would be great to have this simple issue fixed!

hello, could i get  Figma AI beta access for education team or only when i upgrade to professional team and have full seat to get the beta access?

I do have Figma DevMode license/seat 30 day trial. I am using VS code extension for Figma and trying to generate code snippets as shown in your help doc (link below). But I don't see any code generation plugins available and I don't see any code to use in our VS code. Am I missing anything? Figma for VS Code – Figma Learn - Help Center

Hello,I’m creating a website on Figma Sites with components whose text I’d like to scale depending on browser size. Unfortunately, though the breakpoints function correctly for text styles outside of these components, they don’t function within the components. This only occurs in preview/publish, and the text resizes correctly when viewing in the main edit screen.Any help or tips would be appreciated - I’ve looked around a bit and have seen some other issues with text breakpoints on Sites, perhaps this is related? This seems to be relatively new and I’m not sure if its a bug or a feature. In the past, all your instances would update in real-time as long your main component was on the same page. Even if the instances are nested in some other components (also on the same page).Today I made some changes to my main components but the instances were still stuck on an older version. I had to manually update them even though all of the main components were on the same page. Anyone else experiencing this??

I was trying to rename a set of frames with figma AI, however the order was totally wrong. The first screen with prefix "15", the second with "07", etc. It could be really helpful a feature for the AI with sequence and order indicator, like the plugin "Rename it".

Call me blind, but… Where in UI3 are the Boolean operations? i.e. Union, Subtract, Intersect, Exclude These used to be on the main toolbar.

I have 32 gb 3200 MHZ ram with rtx 3050 8gb Gpu. and MD Ryzen 5 8600G  CPU. Dont know while creating component figma desktop app and browser both are getting crashed. And it really effecting on my project deadline. Can anyone know the solution ? its not like that i’m creating heavy component , for example i have created a component for desktop version when i’m trying to do it for tablet and mobile version it suddenly got crashed. And i’m facing this problem for past 2-3 weeks.
