All of our team members are facing issue in using figjam related to Memory issues asking to open in recovery mode only.
We never faced this issue ever in Miro would really appreciate if there is an hack for this, tried multiple ways but can’t find the option to reduce memory.

Hey @Khalid Laghari , thanks for flagging this! I’m really sorry your team is running into these memory issues in FigJam.

If everyone on your team is seeing prompts to open files in Recovery Mode, this suggests the files may be hitting browser or system memory limits.
A few quick checks that can help:

  • Try closing other browser tabs or apps running in the background to free up memory.

  • Use the latest version of Chrome, Edge, or the Figma Desktop app (macOS: Must be running macOS 12 or later, and Window: Must be running Windows 11 or later in a 64-bit environment)

  • If the file is large, try duplicating it and removing unused pages or heavy widgets to see if it opens more smoothly.

Still, if these steps don’t help, we’d like our Technical Quality team to take a closer look for further investigation. Could you please submit a bug report here?
In the form, please mention that your whole team is impacted, include one of the affected file URLs, and add support-share@figma.com as an Editor so our team can investigate directly.

Thanks again for flagging this! 🙏🏼

Hey Khalid, thanks for your reply.
If you’re using the Figma app and the steps I mentioned don’t resolve the issue, please reach out to our support team directly using the form linked above (or here: Submit a bug report). This will allow them to investigate your case further.
Thanks again, and I hope it gets sorted out quickly!
