I have a prototype that has some buttons that will change a variable (number) up and down. The code uses a conditional statement that will set upper and lower limits to the value. When you click the buttons a text field tied to the variable will update to the new value. It works when you are logged in. When I send it to someone who doesn’t have a login, the value on the screen will not change. If I advance to a different page of the UI and return to the first page, the value will be updated. So, the code is working, but the screen is not updating it. There are other buttons running code and they work. If I login to Figma… it works. It is only an issue for a user that is not logged in.
Hello everyone, I am facing a critical issue with a Figma file and I need urgent help. I was working on a project with a submission deadline today, and the file has gone missing. Here's what happened: I was working on a file using my work account (personal information redacted). I transferred the file's ownership to my personal account (personal information redacted). I then mistakenly deleted the file from the original work account. Now, the file is unavailable on both accounts. I have already tried checking the "Deleted" tab in both accounts, but the file is not there. I also contacted Figma Support, and they directed me to this forum since I am on a Student Plan. Here are the details of the file: File Link: https://www.figma.com/file/RjIt6x4leMTizGCahOwlzt/Ideapeel_Homepage_Redesign_Subayel_Ahammed?fuid=1152840093237785823 Accounts Involved: personal information redacted and personal information redacted I am attaching a screenshot of the error message I
Hi Figma Team and Community,I’m currently finalizing my design portfolio in Figma, and I’ve run into multiple issues that are making it extremely difficult to continue working. This file is deeply important to me—it's the one I’m using to apply for internships, and I’ve spent weeks designing it with care and emotional clarity. But now, I’m stuck. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what’s going wrong:🔧 1. Component Failures Interactive components (hover, click, open link) are not responding in prototype mode. I’ve tried everything: redesigning them from scratch, copying from older working files, pasting into new frames, and rebuilding interactions—but they still don’t work. These components are central to my navigation and case study flows. Without them, I can’t test or present anything properly. What’s strange is that my older projects work fine, but this particular file—even after redesigning—continues to break. 📌 2. Navbar Flickering I wanted my navbar to be fixed at the top, but
I'm a UX Designer with a strong focus on user-centered design and SEO optimization. I recently published a website using Figma Sites, but I noticed that even after several days, the site still does not appear in search engine results (Google, Bing, etc.) — it’s only accessible via the direct link.I’m opening this thread to better understand how SEO is currently being handled in Figma Sites and to see if others are experiencing the same: Are sites built with Figma Sites being properly indexed by search engines? Is there any support for adding/editing meta tags (like title, description, og:image, etc.)? Are semantic HTML tags (like <a>, <main>, <article>) used, or are links rendered as <div> elements with click events? Has anyone successfully added a Figma Site to Google Search Console or submitted a sitemap? Are there best practices or documentation available on optimizing a site for search from within Figma Sites? From what I’ve seen so far, the lack of
I am creating a new library, I have created a colour style, I have named it wrong and now I can not edit it because, with the new Figma UI the edit button for styles has disappeared. Where I can find the previous UI?
I can't open my design, figma reports an error. My colleagues can't open it either. what’s the problem? How to solve it ? Very urgent.Error ID: edc31356eca44cf085f99a9a1e5fb4f8
I'm designing a prototype in Figma with a canvas size of 1920x1080, but when I enter Present mode, the display doesn't match the actual size. When I choose "Show actual size", it enlarges the frame beyond 1920x1080. (Image 2) When I select "Fit screen", "Fit width", or "Fullscreen", the background gets compressed or scaled in a way that doesn't reflect my original design layout. (Image 1) I need the presentation to appear exactly as designed in 1920x1080 without distortion. Is there a workaround or setting I’m missing? It suppose to look like image 3. Any help would be appreciated!
I am creating a simple Icon library for a team project. I noticed, in the Material design library from Google, they have folders for different assets like buttons, headers, input fields etc. (attached image). How do I create those in my library? Thank you for your help.
Previously, videos would autoplay on it’s own and it seems like Figma pushed an update which allowed us to have more granular control i.e. autoplay/loop/sound But it seems like my video isn’t playing on presentation mode anymore irregardless of the video settings. After troubleshooting, I found that this is an issue with Figma Desktop App as the video plays as intended on browser. I have also updated my Figma Desktop App, restarted my computer etc but to no avail. Just wondering if i’m the only one going through this 😕
Hey everyone,I’ve been working on some motion graphics and tried using the umahe sepi video template to create a stylish edit. The final export looks great, but when I bring it into Figma for a project, I run into issues. Sometimes, the quality drops, or the playback isn’t smooth, especially when embedding it in prototypes.I’m wondering if this is a format issue or if there’s a better way to optimize videos for Figma. Has anyone else worked with video assets in Figma? Would love to hear any tips on the best export settings or alternative workflows to keep everything running smoothly. Thanks in advance!
I have an educational licence of Figma. Will I get access to figma sites? Has it rolled out yet? I can't find it anywhere.
I have lost files from my Figma account. I looked at the drafts > deleted tab and its not there. I also filter searched all projects made by (me) and no luck finding it. I have a link the prototype because I had it linked to my old portfolio and it says that Prototype not found. Either this file doesn’t exist or you don’t have permission to view it. Ask the file owner to verify the link and/or update permissions. I used it through my email so I’m not sure why this would pop up. This project is really important, and I hope you can help me recover it.I did all the workarounds and still need help: THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELPThe file is in your deleted folder (Open your drafts > click the deleted page). If so, right-click the file to restore it The file may have been moved by a teammate who was also on that file You’re logged into a Figma account that should have access to this file. You can switch accounts via the top-right and top-left corners of the file browser.
How am I supposed to delete a file that I published if I can no longer access the original since I deleted it long ago ? What I see when I have the fileWhat I see otherwise
I’ve been trying to get a hold of sales to purchase Enterprise Figma and have gotten no response. Please connect me with a sales person. We have a UI/UX designer starting next week and we need this tool.
I am experiencing an issue where I cannot update my library, specifically cards I have designed. When trying to publish it says there aren’t changes and the button is inactive. There are changes, I have even deleted sections, addes section etc… to test it and it still doesn’t work.

Finding a dependable Dewalt 18V battery replacement online can be tricky with so many options available. Not all sellers offer genuine or high-quality replacements, which can damage your tools or offer poor performance. The best places to shop are trusted platforms like Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowe’s, where verified reviews and seller ratings help guide your purchase. Look for batteries that are certified, have overcharge protection, and come with a warranty. Avoid suspiciously cheap listings that lack brand transparency. Brands like Powerextra, Energup, and even Dewalt itself offer solid aftermarket or OEM options. Always check compatibility with your specific Dewalt tool model. Also, make sure the seller provides return support in case of battery failure. A good battery replacement should deliver consistent power and last through multiple charge cycles. Taking the time to research will save you money and extend the life of your tools.
Good morning,We are embedding Figma prototypes all over the IBM.com domain and we have recently been notified by our web security team regarding the 3rd party scripts that are being loaded. Such as: Google tag manager, GA, Facebook Pixel and Naver…. Is there a way that these tracking scripts can be disabled when we place the iframe prototype onto our pages?
Is there a way to enable scrolling of content inside an instance created from a component?(without prototyping, just screen in figma)For example:I created a shop page as a component. Content inside is a long column of items cards. I want to be able to scroll the content inside the instance of this component so that I can assemble different flows using the shop page.

Hello,My developers cannot sort past updates into Ready for Dev. They are sorted by default in "Page" and not in "Recent activity" (which is useless) They cannot therefore follow the updates correctly. I am attaching a photo of my view and one of theirs without the 'Sort by'. (identical problem whether on app or on the web)thank you all!
Unfortunally the layer order of Figma UI is a little off when using comments. The comment modal is behind the bottom sheet dragger, preventing me from sending my comment since I can’t click the blue button.
Hi everyone,I’m running into a strange issue while working on a small side project — a mobile UI concept for a game prototype called TABS Pocket Edition APK.I exported some UI assets (buttons, icons, and a few layout elements) from the original build to test how they’d look in a Figma prototype. However, after importing them into Figma, the colors and shadows appear slightly different — almost “washed out” — compared to the original assets. Here’s the sample package I’m using (safe to open, just contains the demo assets so you can see what I mean):https://modhello.com/tabs-pocket-editionWhat I’ve tried so far:Checked color profiles in the exported PNGs. Imported via both drag-and-drop and “Place Image” option. Disabled Figma’s color management in preferences.Has anyone experienced this kind of color/contrast shift when bringing in mobile game UI assets?Any advice on settings or export formats that preserve the exact colors would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
For accessibility, I zoom in to my Figma UI to make text and icons easier to read, however, having done this, my Figma Make preview also does this. How can I prevent this from happening? Figma Design does not scale my canvases or content and I’d like Make to do the same.
Hex codes for fill and stroke in the right sidebar. Is it no longer possible to edit hex codes for fill/stroke directly in the right sidebar?Instead of becoming editable, clicking the hex code now opens the colour picker for me.I use my colour picker in HSB mode, so have always greatly appreciated being able to edit hex codes in the right sidebar (with one click) without having to enter and change the mode of my colour picker. This seemingly innocuous update really affects my workflow.I don’t see why the hex code can’t remain editable for efficiency’s sake.
