Hi All,

I just came back from holiday and logged into my Figma - shocked to find out that somehow all my recent files are gone!

I have local saves of most of the projects, but there was one big draft with lots of combined smaller work + ideas that I saved in September, but not in October.

When I login now all my ‘recents’ are from 2 years ago while I’ve been using the account constantly. Everything in the trash is also from 2 - 3 years ago - is there any way at all to get this back?? Has this happened to someone else?

Hey @milkyskinn009

To cover some grounds, please check if:

  • The file is in your deleted folder (Open your drafts > click the deleted page). If so, right-click the file to restore it
  • The file may have been moved by a teammate who was also on that file
  • You’re logged into a Figma account that should have access to this file. You can switch accounts via the top-right and top-left corners of the file browser.

Could you double-check the team picker in the side bar and see if you can locate all your teams there?

Can you also please check in the “Deleted” section of your “Drafts to Move” folder:

Do you happen to have any file links of those missing drafts?

You may be able to find the URL from:

  • Your web browser’s history.
  • Any past conversations where you might have shared the file with colleagues.
  • The ‘File > Recently Closed’ menu if you are using the desktop app.

To better assist you with this issue providing the URL(s) of the missing drafts would be incredibly helpful for further investigation.

I appreciate your help!
