But that topic has been closed for reply.This is the latest version of my ticker component, with variant:- Info- Success- Warning- Error- Waiting- TipBut if I copy that component (as intance) to other page, like this: As you can see in the picture above, the update icon in the top right corner is active (blue), which shouldn’t be. Because the instance has just been newly copied here using the latest instance directly from the source.If I open the “Variant” options, it still correctly shows the variant list which is the latest variant list:But if I update the component by clicking the update icon, it reverts to old version (as depicted in screenshot below) where:- There was no “Tip” variant that should exist in the latet version- There was “Awaiting Review” variant, which has been removed in the latest version- There was “Multiple Awaiting Reviews” variant, which has been removed in the latest version​​​ I have followed the instruction here to clear

Hi, I’m having an issue with a Figma plugin. When I try to run it, nothing happens — the plugin doesn’t start or show any results. I’ve tried restarting Figma and checking my internet connection, but it still doesn’t work.

Hello, As a full seat member in my organisation, we were using Figma make when suddenly yesterday a message appears stating that “Figma will not enforce AI credit this year but we used our credit limit for the future”. I am confused by the “future”, what does it mean ? will our credit reset on next billing cycle ? how could we continue to use it as we were having great results and now are stuck. We found a bit frustrating that no warning was made prior the limit was reached. Also, we made around 40 prompts on the app, then stopped working on it for a week and then after coming back yesterday, the limit was reached after 1 extra prompt.Can someone help me or is having the same issue ?Thanks and enjoy your day, 

I have a few elements in a group. That group is contained in frame. If I select Vertical layout, the elements now placed in horizontal line, and if I select Horizontal layout, the placement would be vertical. If I do the same while the group is not in that frame, the result would be as expected.      

Recently, when I change everything in my frame from the width setting “hug” to “fill” and then do something else in the same frame, the settings I just changed jump back to “hug”. Doing something else can even just mean selecting a different component on the same frame. On the second time around it usually sticks.I have noticed this happens especially, if I’m using components and just change the instance’s width. Weird little bug. Anyone else experience this?

Whenever I accidentally presses these combination it quit my whole figma app, yes I know that figma auto save things but it should be prevented by just adding confirmation popup like Are you sure you wanted to close all figma files etc.  I have faced this many time please either remove this combination or add some kind of second confirmation.Thanks

Icon stroke width behaves as expected inside the button (it scales with the canvas). However, as soon as it’s turned into a component and the icon is swapped, the stroke resets to a default value of 2px. The frame size behaves as expected. Icon is resized using scale tool. Problem appears both ways: – creating button from scratch (works), make is a component (does not work). – creating button component with same anatomy from scratch (does not work). Detach the same component (works). Creating different sizes with variants for each icon is not an option due to the extensive icon library. Is this a bug, or what could be causing this issue?

Hello, I am facing a bug where my FigJam board slowly scrolls to the right whenever my cursor is anywhere on the screen. The only way I can get it to not scroll is by holding a key on my keyboard. I have refreshed, restarted my session, turned my mouse off and on, but it is continuing to scroll. This is not happening on other web pages with left/right scroll, so I do not think it is related to hardware.

I made a project in Figma. It seems to work fine, but I want to download all the files so I can compile it into a windows exe file. However there doesn’t seem to be a way to download everything in the project. I even asked the AI to help me out and it seems to be quite irritated saying I have all the files I just now need to download them. I do want to download them, I just don’t know how. I can’t find any control that says download files. Can someone help me with this please?

Hi,We have an issue with DNS record verification in Figma sites.All DNS records (including CNAME and any required verification records) have been correctly configured according to Figma’s requirements and have ​​successfully propagated​​. Hi, I’m testing a token refresh method that uses OAuth to enable the regular execution of processes that were previously handled via personal access tokens(PAT).Using a PAT for a specific organization account, we can successfully extract data from organization projects and retrieve all of the following:/v1/teams/:team_id/projects/v1/projects/:project_id/files/v1/files/:file_key However, after switching to OAuth, creating an app, and publishing it with the `file_content:read` and `projects:read` scopes enabled, I can only retrieve `/v1/files/:file_key` data. `/projects` list and `/files` list return a "Not Found" error and cannot be retrieved.According to the documentation, enabling and publishing the "projects:read" scope should grant access. Why are we receiving a 404 error? 

First of all — huge fan of Figma Make. It’s an amazing product, our whole studio’s been obsessed with it since day one. But right now we’ve hit a major roadblock that completely stopped our workflow 😬The issue is with the “Import from Figma” feature in Figma Make simply doesn’t work.When you click the button — absolutely nothing happens (no error, message no loading, no import)— tested it on several different accounts — restarted and reinstalled the app — tried using it via browser and in new files it’s literally blocking our entire studio’s workflow. I have an input box component used in a prototype that is supposed to expand vertically as the text grows. However, there’s a noticeable flicker around the border whenever the component grows in height.I tried rebuilding the input box from scratch, but the issue still occurs. It looks like the flicker happens when I add the border around it, but no idea why or how to fix it. PS: all the properties are the same in all components

I got interested in Figma so I bought an e-course. I encountered a few problems that Im unable to get around. I tried googling and looking through forums but I didnt find an answer.So the teacher uses a slightly older version of Figma. After adding any type of element (a frame, text, etc.), there appears a "layer" tab on the right side. There isn't one on my end.Additionally, the "auto layout" isn't the same as in the lessons. In the lesson, there is advanced layout and it contains spacing modes, strokes, canvas stacking. In my case, these settings arent there.Could you help me out with finding them? Or have these features been deleted? AI chatbot told me a bunch of gibberish…Thanks for help!

In my companies design system we utilize Modes to alter the font styles across all viewports. Everything is defined to be responsive, except the font-weight. The font weight is defined on a global scale on our primitive level.My companies Font is Helvetica Display Now. Which is running in OTF format on my Mac. When using this font in Figma a strange behavior happens:  When applying the correct font weight in the variable for regular as specified in the MDN documentaiton an extra bold font is outputted. To make it even more strange when I apply the string variable “Regular” this happens: The Font is rendered in the correct weight, but no token is applied in the font weight. I use Figma every day but I STILL don’t understand the correct/preferred way to do this. Say I have a component with 1 variant and 1 property (say “State=Open/Closed”). What I want is to create a new variant property that applies to BOTH of the existing variants (say “Size=Default/Small”) and automatically duplicates the components (to the RIGHT) and applies the new property. Is there a way to do this OTHER than resizing the set, manually creating the property, duplicating the components, and apply and setting the new property? Maybe as a plugin? I need to do this ALL the time. I’m aware that you can create all your variants FIRST and then do “Combine as variants” but that’s not what I need, because I don’t always know in advance all the variants I need.

I tried the unsubscribe link and it took me to a 404 page. I tried to use the “Contact Us” feature in Figma and it told me there was an error when I tried to send my message. I would like to get off this crazy train.

I’ve tried several of the remedies suggested in a previous post. But it seems like a compatibility issue between the desktop app and the updated display drivers.
