I’m a BIG fan of figma I use it everyday for work and personal designs. I started using figma’s recent product figma sites in Beta. It’s amazing. My first impression after using figma sites was “Im going to make so many sites soo many…..”. Today out of blue I tested one of my website on www.websitecarbon.com I got a “F” rating, dirtier than 83% of all web pages globally. Is it the resources im using on the website or is it the hosting? I’m reading more about websitecarbon’s rating system.
This issue has been bothering me since I started using Figma a few years ago:The rendered px units in Figma are about 8% smaller than they are in Chromium-based browsers. In other words, when developers copy px values from Figma and implement them on the web, the rendered results are around 10% larger than the design. This is a really serious issue, especially when selecting very small font sizes - for example, there is a considerable difference when a font is rendered at 10px, 11px and 12px, and designers are very careful when selecting small font sizes. And just in general, you design for a specific experience, especially when creating fluid web page designs - a 10% difference is a huge perceived difference on a large page, and it just gives the design a different feel and experience versus what you actually designed. Here is a test to illustrate the difference:These screenshots were taken on Windows 11, which takes precise screenshots of the rendered device pixels. (The images were impo
When multiple frames are selected simultaneously and the shortcut key Shift + S is pressed, why can't a section be created directly?
If Make is disrupted for any reason, maybe the internet bugged out for second, maybeClaude AI got stuck processing the prompt, or whatever - It stops processing and you lose the prompt. This is especially annoying when I write a longer prompt, so I’ve had to get into the habit of writing prompts in a text editor and pasting them into Make in the case this happens. Can we have it so that if the processing fails, you at least don’t lose your prompt so you can re-run the request again?
Is it possible to lock everything (and prevent access to design mode) except editing text and uploading images on templates? Some users are changing fonts (size, style, etc.). It would be great to have more control other than just totally locking components.
Hi, I deleted my pro team like a couple days ago and i canceled before I deleted. But figma still charged the subscription. May I know if I could get refund for that.
'enable local MPC server' opened a pop up saying I was on a Starter plan. I followed the link and bought a Professional Full Seat but the same pop up come up when I try 'enable local MPC server'
I am creating component sets from an icon kit as an intern assignment, and so far I’ve been doing it manually and it’s hellish. Any tips?
I've seen here on the forum that many people are having the same problem. I've tried duplicating the file, and this message still appears, even with short prompts. Does anyone have a solution?
Hi everyone,I’m really hoping someone here can help, because I’m stuck and support hasn’t replied.I accidentally added one extra full seat to my plan (I already had 2 collaborators). I removed it right after, thinking that would cancel it — and it was never assigned or used. But now I’ve been charged for it anyway, and I still see 1 unassigned full seat showing up as "available" in the billing section. I can’t find any way to cancel or remove it.Has anyone had the same issue? I really don’t want to be billed again for a seat I’m not using. Thanks in advance!
Recently, Figma Make has started refactoring the entire codebase when I request a small change, which breaks previously working components. What could be causing this, and how can I prevent full regeneration? For example, after giving Figma Make a simple prompt, it starts rewriting unrelated parts of the code. I only asked it to showcase shadows, but instead it generates unnecessary changes that feel like hallucinations.“I'll add the missing dark shadow tokens to the CSS file first, then create a comprehensive Shadows showcase section right after the Toast component. Now I'll add the Shadows showcase section to App.tsx right after the Toast sections:Let me find the exact location where the Toast sections end and add the Shadows section:I need to see where the Toast sections end to find the right insertion point. Let me search for the section end:Let me look for the ending of the Toast content to find where to add the Shadows section:I need to find where the Toasts sections actually end i
Our company was approved as a Bootcamp under the new Figma EDU verification processes which is amazing however, we had additional questions that we’re trying to get answered so that we can operationalize and get our in flight students reverified under the new program. Our many emails have gone unanswered. Has anyone else who’s an approved bootcamp gotten their students successfully verified? We did sent our initial list over but again, no response as to if they were or weren’t verified. Our students are starting to lose their access.
Hello Figma Community!I tried re verification for FIGMA student, but it was showing network error even though network was good, and continuously trying it was still showing the same error. Then it started showing Verification limit exceeded. So I contacted sheerID via mail, they responded with:We were unable to process your verification request. And Your ticket has now been permanently closed. Please provide the solution for this issue otherwise I won't be able to re verify student plan.
I've attached a screenshot of the App template. There are five tabs (Shop, Newsstand, Who we are, My Profile Basket). I want to add a sixth tab, similar to the Shop tab, or can't I create anything else, only edit it within the template?Thank you!
I was changing a color and somehow it started horizontal scrolling. I have checked everything, there is no setting on Prototype for me to stop this, I’ve tried all the settings changes and topics that were listed on the Figma help pages and on Google. Nothing is stopping the horizontal scrolling! I’ve even created new documents, added a shape and it’s still scrolling horizontally! I have no idea what happened and no idea how to stop all my files from scrolling right off the screen. Help!Video of my screen going crazy on multiple files. No Prototype settings at all.
All the primitives have been selected to HIDE and it still shows up under APPEARANCE. Why?
I am a student at SIMATS(SAVEETHA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL AND TECHNICAL SCIENCES) and I am currently using my official university email address (@sevaatha.com) to access Figma. However, the system does not recognize my domain as eligible for the Education Plan.Could you please review my case and add @sevaatha.com to the approved education domains so that I can benefit from the Figma Education Plan? I can provide proof of enrollment if required.Thank you for your support
Artificial Intelligence is becoming a game-changer across industries, and design is no exception. From generating layouts to speeding up repetitive tasks, AI tools are helping designers save time and focus on creativity.I recently came across an interesting resource on this topic: AI in Design – worth checking if you’re curious about practical applications.I’m curious to hear from the community: How do you see AI integrating with Figma in the near future? Are there specific tasks (like wireframing, color palette generation, or prototyping) where you’d love to see AI assistance? Do you think AI can truly support creative thinking, or should it only handle repetitive/manual parts of the design process? Let’s start a discussion—what are your thoughts on AI + Figma?
Hi,I’m using Figma Beta. And in the last version 125.9.3, there is no more the Auto-Layout section in the inspector. So I’ve to get back to Figma when I want to change something in my layout. I closed and re-started the app many times.
Hi everyone,I’m learning Figma by making a Spotify mobile design clone. In the search section, I created a status bar (fixed at the top) and a search bar below it.When I prototype and scroll, the search bar hides behind the status bar instead of stopping just bottom of status bar. I can’t simply group the status bar and search bar together, because there’s a section in between.I’m attaching two short videos:1.Current prototype → shows the issue (search bar hiding behind status bar).2. Expected behavior → what I’m trying to achieve (search bar sticks just below status bar).Has anyone faced this issue? How can I make the search bar stick below the status bar without overlapping?Any suggestions, articles, or video tutorials would be really helpful!
Hello everyone, I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to create an expandable accordion linked to an underlying element (body) that scrolls below the first one regardless of whether the accordion is open or closed.Thank you in advance
I am experiencing an issue where I am unable to view images in my file. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success: Restarted Figma three times Restarted my computer Checked both the Desktop app and the browser version Despite these efforts, I am still unable to view the images. Could you please help me resolve this issue as soon as possible?
Hello! I want to copy a gradient from illustrator and paste it in figma as a vector. I tried importing it as an svg but the gradient appears as an image, not a vector. Also, direct copy paste doesn’t work either. Is there any solutions or should I create the gradients from scratch in figma?Thank you!
Hello everyone! We are trying to buy a subscription for Figma Professional. The problem is that my company makes payments only by invoices, not with a card. Is there a way to get the subscription by getting an invoice? Thank you!
Please help me check when my education plan will expire
