I’m unable to locate a file that I didn’t delete. I still have the shared link, but I can’t access it, it says the design file may have been deleted, moved, or is unavailable.
Please, I need help resolving this.

Hi @Echezona_Oji,

I understand that you’re having trouble accessing your file and are seeing the message: “The design file may have been deleted, moved, or is unavailable.”

I checked on our end, and it looks like you currently have access to several teams. To cover the basics, could you please check the “Trash” section for each team?

You can switch between teams in your File Browser by clicking the arrow next to your team name in the left sidebar, then checking the Trash section for each one

.

When searching in Trash, we recommend selecting “Created by anyone” and “All files” just in case.

A few notes:

  • Files can’t be opened directly from Trash.

  • Anyone with “can edit” access to the parent project can move a file to Trash, even if you didn’t do it yourself.

For more details: Delete and restore files

If you’ve checked all the teams you have access to and still can’t find the file, please share the file URL here.

This will help us either locate the file or confirm if it’s been permanently deleted.

Thanks,
