Figma Education "Verification Limit Exceeded" Error - SheerID confirmed on their end

Hi! 

I’ve been having trouble getting my Figma account back to an Education account, even though SheerID confirmed that I re-verified my account on September 11 (Verification ID: 68c1ab53f897ce280a8b5dff), which was before the September 29 deadline. SheerID mentioned that since the verification on their side was approved, the issue now lies specifically with the offer redemption process on Figma's side.

I’ve sent education@figma.com several emails since about my issue, but I never received a reply. I’d really appreciate any help to be able to re-access Figma Education for my student work! Thank you in advance.

Hi Celine!

Thanks so much for your help, I was able to gain access to Figma Education on my Master’s email! Yes, my email address between my undergraduate vs. Master’s programs is the same besides the domain (e.g. uw.edu).

Since SheerID confirmed that your verification was already approved, could you double-check that you’re logged into the correct account and viewing the right team? It’s also possible that the verification was completed under a different email address.

Thanks so much for the reply! I checked that I logged in with the correct account and viewed the right team. When I go to upgrade my team, I don’t see an education option and it only shows the regular options I have to pay for. 
 

I filled out the form, but I’m not sure which other account I could have verified my education status under. I filled it out with both my personal and my undergraduate email, since I wonder if it’s also because I had an education account then that is causing issues. I have since graduated from that institution and am now in a Master’s program that also provides Figma education.

Hey, I’ve checked internally with the team, and we can confirm that you have verified with your personal account (and not the undergraduate email). Could you confirm that in your Master’s program, you are also using the same email address that the one you have graduated and used to verify?
