 Hello everyone,I'm trying to create a sticky navbar for my portfolio. I have a main frame with Auto layout set to a vertical direction. I've placed my navbar frame inside this main frame and set its position to Absolute position.I also went to the Prototype tab and enabled Fixed position when scrolling for the navbar.The problem is that the navbar sticks to the top-left corner, but it does not stretch to the full width of the page. It's leaving a blank space on the right side.I know that Absolute position takes a layer out of the Auto layout flow, and I've tried to set the navbar's constraints to Left & Right, but it's still not stretching as expected.My main frame is 1440pxwide, and I need the navbar to always fill that width while remaining sticky.Has anyone encountered this issue or found a working solution? Any help would be appreciated!

After removing bold/underline styles in our design system (due to the text style override update), we’ve noticed an issue: In a main component with a non-bold text style: Apply bold formatting and a text property. Create an instance. Changing text via the property panel resets bold formatting. However, editing text on the canvas preserves the bold weight. Is this bug being tracked or expected?

Hi dear community, I have no idea how to catch those panel.After create a auto layout and choose the , those panels should appear sometimes will appear and sometimes I can find it no where, I don’t know in what case the panels will be show? 

Hi,Using figma make and designing a mobile app with the help of AI. It was going well but I didn’t like the last change made and asked for a revert, but didn’t revert the last changes properly, only some of them. is there any way to work like versions? so i could revert a change quickly without losing anything?Thanks in advance

Hey, So I use a Figma edu pro account and have been using it for last 4 years of my undergrad, naturally I have a lot of files here. Well now recently I graduated and changed schools to join a grad school, I want to shift all my files from one edu pro account to another. Does anyone know how I can do this?Team transfer I am told doesn’t work with edu accounts, not sure though!

I received the message 'We have successfully verified your education status!', but I didn’t get the 'Welcome to the Figma Education Plan' email, and nothing has changed in Figma (I still don’t see the Education Plan features after verification). 

I’m unable to activate or access the AI features. I’ve checked for updates and tried basic troubleshooting steps, but the feature still doesn’t appear to be available for me.Could you please help me resolve this issue or let me know if there are any requirements I might be missing? Thank you in advance for your support!

I’ve been trying for the past 3 hours to edit the domain of a published website, but with no success. No metter the name I try, I always get the same error “invalid domain”.   

The “Explore Community” button - usually at the bottom left of the window - is gone. Where can I find the button now?

Figma app (on Windows PC) is switched and is not being used.I am a project manager and I use figma app on my pc and sometimes the web browser but i have seen this issue more on the app, if i am looking at a page at certain design and i switch to some other application and come back to it lets say after 10 minutes, it will load with new changes and it would switch to another page, can you please help me as in how to stop this from happening.I dont use the browser that much so not sure about it, but it is definitely happening in the app.

Hi. I had a file on my deleted drafts. I decided that I wanted it back and clicked on “Move file”. I moved it to one of my drafts on another Team workspace I have.After doing that, the file just dissapeared, as if it was deleted. I want to get it back since I didn’t want it deleted. Would love some help from Figma team on this. The file’s name was “Intangible” (I have another one called “Intangible Admin”, it’s not that one).

Hi everyone,I’m experimenting with running the Jira MCP server locally in VS Code alongside GitHub Copilot. My goal is to download a design image from Jira and use it with another tool to compare it against a screenshot of the built feature.Here’s the issue: My agent seems able to fetch the image (I can see it being used in the chat context), but I can’t get it to actually save the file locally. With Playwright MCP, I can easily take a screenshot and save it to disk, so I know saving works in my setup. What I’ve tried so far: Following all the available configuration steps. Adjusting the prompts to explicitly ask Copilot to save the file. Testing with Claude Sonnet 2.5, Gemini 2.5 Pro, and GPT-4.1 inside Copilot (same results). Has anyone managed to do something similar: downloading/saving Jira design images via MCP with Copilot?What options or workarounds should I explore?Thanks in advance!

We’re experiencing a random problem with component overrides in our design system which consists of multiple library files. Our components use an atomic structure, where small individual components are combined (sometimes with overrides) to create larger components. The problem we’re facing We’re using some components in a design file and they have overrides applied to them. When a new library update is published, taking the new updates in the design file breaks our overrides. The component properties/variant selection is intact, even the value of the overrides are intact, however the instance would either loose border radius, or have its alignment changed or the layer name resets to the original name from the atomic component. This happens to some specific components, and not others. And this also happens randomly, sometimes some components break, while others don’t. We tried recreating the whole library from scratch with a few components to see if the problem persists, and unfortunat

Hi everyone How can I costumise the caracters in keyboard to be the same as the caracters I want to be written. 

So our team builds our pages as components, so they can be used in flows, dev mode, etc and have one single source of truth (beats having to update a dozen screens when one change is made). As a result, I’ve noticed the following issue:I update something on the main component screen on another page, which propagates the changes throughout the document, including the page we use to house all of our dev handoff sections (one section per ticket) The change shows in the section (on another page in the same file), but the status of “ready for dev” doesn’t change from green to yellow, showing that something has indeed changed on that page.If I make a change directly (add a annotation, etc) to that section, then the flag will change from green to yellow, but making a change to the master component doesn’t trigger that flag.Could we have it to where ANY change that affects a section that’s been marked as ready for dev changes its status?Thanks!

My marketing agency has a proprietary content creation platform (we control all aspects of the backend, etc.).  After written content is created, we typically copy and paste the content to a Figma design template. Via an API connection, is it possible to create my written content and simultaneously have it populate in a Figma template? Or even populate as comments? Currently we use the batch import functionality in Figma Buzz but now I'm interested in directly connecting a Figma template to our platform. Is this API connection possible? Thanks!

I am trying to build a site with a accordion on it and expanding the whole accordion leads the content below the accordion to get pushed out of the viewport.I can’t set the page to height: hug or filland autolayout leads to the same behaviour as the page does not grow.Is this a preview problem or is this a figma-sites issue. 

Has anyone else had the problem with publishing a template where you click ‘Publish changes’, it shows the toast message on the bottom with how many total changes there are (and how many of those changes are published), then the last updated is supposedly published, but the button in the top right still says ‘Publish changes’ instead of ‘Use in new deck’?Then when I click the publish button again, there are 5-9 updates left to publish, and it goes through ‘publishing’ all of them ‘again’. And it only seems to actually be publishing one change each time I click the publish button.

I have paid for the Full Seat subscription of Figma Pro, and I intend to use my account to host 2 different websites.For the first website, all went smooth and I was able to change the subdomain to my preference.But for the second website, when I try to change the subdomain, I get a yellow text saying “Invalid domain”.I have no clue what’s going on. I contacted Figma’s AI chatbot and I tried all the troubleshooting methods that it told me, but nothing worked.Can someone please help me… 🙏
