I’m facing an issue with my published design system in Figma and would appreciate any help or insights.I’ve created a separate design system file that includes components and variables, and it has been published successfully. I’ve linked this published library to other Figma files, but the colors from the design system are not appearing correctly in the list or grid view within those files.Here’s what I’ve already tried based on suggestions:Re-publishing the design system file Re-linking the library in the affected files Checking for naming conflicts or duplicate styles Ensuring all styles are properly defined and published Clearing Figma cache and restarting the appDespite these efforts, the issue persists. If the published color variables don’t show up properly, it defeats the purpose of having a centralized system.Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround? So I just updated my Figma recently. Now I can’t seem to find the auto align feature of an auto aligned element, for example, this text has auto-layout enabled but I need to manually tweak the padding of the frame in order for the text to be aligned fix to the left. Does anybody here encountered the same situation? I appreciate your feedback. Thanks

After transferring files from another account and confirming ownership, the files have been deleted. on 4th Oct. Please can the files be recovered from the account and restored to the new account.This is very important to my work. This is the file I need to recover or alternatively recover the account that was deleted. Since Figma Make became publicly available, I’ve noticed a significant drop in performance and overall intelligence. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence, but I no longer see the “Claude Sonnet 4” label next to the prompt area. Everything I try now leads to poor results. Just yesterday, during the beta phase, the AI was much more capable and consistently delivered great outcomes. Today, I’m stuck for hours on simple tasks that were handled effortlessly before.Anyone noticing the same?

I’m having issues with typing out text on the file canvas for the chrome desktop and browser app. Guessing it’s not a font issue since it’s inter.  Not a bounding or frame issue since I’m typing it straight onto the file canvas. No issues when I type it into an art board, within another layer/frame or have a background behind it. It’s like the file canvas has “hidden” frames that the text hides behind (see image). If you zoom in and out you can find a level where it is visible like normal, but if I were to adjust the zoom just a little bit it turns invisible again. I can’t see the text written when I select the area either.  I’ve tried restarting the desktop app without any success. Not sure if it’s an issue with the Asus model I’m using since it seems to work fine on my stationary chromebook at work. 

I worked on a figma project named “Lovely Mind”, the last time I worked on it was in April/2025, I turned on Figma and checked on it once in a while, I’ve never turn off the working tab. Hello dear Community, As we’re continuously working with clients, our team was really fond of the setting “can view prototypes only”: sometimes we would invite specific people to view a prototype, other times we would allow anyone with the link and password to view the prototypes. This allowed us to be sure not to share the actual design file with the client (sometimes because they wouldn’t need it, or because we would prepare a specific file for the client). Im having issues publishing my library. I reloaded the page and tried publishing it again and had no luck, but I see that there is no issues on the figma status, what could be happening.  

I was testing figma code connect with mcp and Cursor and unfortunately found that i cannot refine component that is already connected - because “suggested code” is not returns, it only contains my connected infoI tried to run ‘figma connect unpubish --node’, command returns :Unpublishing Code Connect files from Figma...Successfully deleted:--- (React)--- (storybook)* my code is vueBut then mcp again returns my code connect snippet instead of real “react code” as it was before connection

Dear support Figma team.I have noticed that after last update my Figma app made my draft file is missing. I know the name of the file and remember even the names of some pages inside, but I couldn’t find it at all. I have only one account and I have checked deleted files. It is not appearing anywhere. I definitely created in my drafts, and it has no teammates to delete it. Please help, how could I restore it or find it?

I’m creating a presentation within a Figma working file (not slides) where I am creating links to other pages and frames within the file. There are about a dozen links I’ve pasted into the file to take me to other places in the same file.  Every now and then when I click on one of the links, the entire Figma file reloads before taking me to the next page or frame. This is annoying because I want to smoothly walk through this file in a presentation.  it’s a fairly large file containing design explorations across many pages. Is there a way to prevent the reloading? It’s happening at random. 

Hello allI could do with some help on a fixed scroll animation.I have a small graphic with a round, yellow circle that simply pulses every 5-10 seconds. It’s made with 6 small frames, and converted to a component set. I’ve added it to my prototype, and have set the scroll behaviour to Fixed (Stay in place). But when I scroll, the graphic flickers. Can anyone shed any light on why this might be happening? HI,  Yesterday all of a sudden I couldn’t copy and paste vector shapes from Adobe illustrator to Figma anymore… When is copy from Illustrator the shape now changes to an image file instead of an SVG. I have restarted my Macbook restarted Figma and illustrator, run the latest update of Figma but nothing works. This really slows down my proces because I now have to export each vector and import it manually in Figma.Can someone please help me with this problem.

I’m on the annual plan, but I noticed several unexpected Collab seats being used. It seems someone invited others without my knowledge. Although I removed the seats as soon as I found out, I was still charged for them. To clarify the situation and prevent this from happening again, I’d like to know who added the seats and which accounts were using them. Is there any way to check this?

Hi,This is worrying to say the least. Components started vanshing while I was working. So all the items inside the component are gone, the main component doesn’t exist any more, and when I click the instance of the non-existing component, it doesn’t have a name. I tried bringing it back from previous versions, it’s gone in there as well.  

Is there a way I can convert my Figma Make design to Figma design?  

After pressing the copy command (on my iOS, e.g. cmd + c, having Figma open in Firefox) while having marked some specific part in the code view css text box, the clipboard remains empty or rather *is emptied*, if before there was something in it. The quick-copy buttons work as expected, but not always do I want to copy the whole code, but only certain values or texts. e.g. I would only mark “var(--Typography-Bold, 600)” in the following text and press CMD + C, but it won’t copy. I always have to use the quick-copy buttons and paste it somewhere, then cut out the not needed rest.overflow: hidden;color: var(--Font, #ffffff);text-overflow: ellipsis;font-style: normal;font-weight: var(--Typography-Bold, 600);line-height: var(--Typography-Line-Height, 16px); 

Hello, I have built a Figma Make Project which is working beautifully. I have following questions about the same: How can I duplicate the project? I can see the option to download the Figma Make file but how can I use it to duplicate the project? Even the code can be downloaded but how to use the downloaded zip file again to create another similar project? Will the code be stable and scalable? Should I just treat it as MVP or I can rely on it to build a scalable business. I am not a coder, therefore, I want to know how much I can rely on Figma Make only.  Can you provide a feature to directly create Github repo from Figma Make project. Many other platforms like Replit provide it.  

Hello Community,I need advice on how to manage time handling with variables currently attached to text styles.In my design process, I created a single variable for letter spacing and applied it across both header and text styles. However, for another project, I need to treat them separately. The challenge is quickly assigning a new variable to the default text styles (especially for bulk edits) without having to click through each text style one by one.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Many thanks in advance.
