How do i recover my figma account, i lost my password and the domain where the email for the account was setup does not belong to us anymore as someone else registered it and its on sale not even active

I understand that you’ve lost access to the email linked to your Figma account and are looking for a way to regain access.

 

If emails from that address are being forwarded to your current one, the easiest way to get back into your account is to reset your password. Once you’re logged in, you can update your email address in your account settings.

If emails are not being forwarded, for security and privacy reasons, we can’t handle specific account issues here in the Forum.
However, our support team can help manually update the email address for you.

Hi @junko3 I actually cannot login to it, this is a different account. That account was on the email; [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII], the password is not working and reset password will send email to that email address that we dont own the domain again

Hello, please, I cannot receive email to change my password, while I do receive emails from other senders but none from Figma with the possibility of changing password. When I give you a password reset, I get a message saying "if there is an account for: -dulce.galan@bootcamp-upgrade.com- I will receive an email with instructions on how to reset the password. If you do not get it, don’t forget to check your spam folder." and nothing in spam or inbox. Please, I need to enter, I have important files that I need urgently
