i am creating an rotating animation using "after delay" but it is not working i watched multiple tutorials but nothings is helping me what I can do to fix this

Hi, i usually exported a full page to a presentation deck so i can discuss it with my client, until yesterday they notice and thought that i designed an awkward outline, and then i realize, most of the figma export if i zoom in carefully have this kind of outline, i think it is a bug, if not do you guys have a solution besides exporting it in SVG? (look at the left side of thebook + bottom side of the calendar) 

Can't measure distances vertically

Hi, I connected Figma with ChatGPT and vice versa. However when ChatGPT try to call to Figma it got this error “Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'result')” Anyone encounter this issue?

Once having a multiple selection I used to drag select from outside to deselect the items I did not want in my selection. This was specifically useful for me and now that it’s gone I spend much more time clicking individual items to deselect, and in some cases that’s not actually doable to do having too many items involved. This decision is making the tool worse than it was. Is this a bug or a permanent decision?

I just updated Figma today, and for some reason. in some frames that I work in I cant Drag select the objects anymore. None of them are locked and I can still click select them one by one.in other frames I can sometimes still drag select.If I rebuild the ‘broke frame’ in a new frame it becomes broken aswell. here is a video of the issue*Edit*There is a Huge Section just above these frames, when I zoom out more, I can select again.when the frame is too close to the section and zoomed in very close. issue happens againWhen moving the Fram further away from the frame everything works again  

I would like to ask if the monthly payment for the Professional plan is on a rolling basis and can be cancelled at any time ? Or is it an annual plan locking user to pay for the entire year?

Hello,  since the last update, one of the most valuable feature in my opinion making Figma a real real tools especially these days where vibe coding has only the focus on the generative ui, Figma makes both (more fourth stage) which in my opinion one of the pillar tool that understood the current evolution of product design, and in a honest and decent pricing.While Figma Make have the whole attention of users it seems, it’s in fact in my opinion, the wrong usage of Figma Make.The golden workflow were as is : 1.Figma Design2.Figma Sites3.  literally a component that would be an 'input', when I use the 'extended' part where the selection opens, I configure it with the information I need, but in the prototype it remains as it was at the beginning.Exemple:Imagine that you have 3 options, flex 1, 2 and 3, but when I go to the prototype, or if I close Figma, it goes back to the component default. If anyone can help me, I'd be grateful!

TBH quite disappointing. I am listed as a faculty member both on the local campus page and on the U.S. university’s website.However, after submitting the required documentation to SheerID, I received a message that my document was in a foreign language and would require additional processing time (from half an hour up to two days). Hello, i created i section in my figjam. I shared it via link but the flipcards a placed in the section do not interact. If I open the content within my own browser under my account I can flipp them and the open cards are showing for others who got the link, but they are unable to flip the cards. 

When are Figma going to add variables for custom cubic-bezier and durations? We have a design system with a custom library and it’s a real pain adding these to prototypes manually and leads to a bunch of inconsistencies. 

Gifford is so far the best gif export plugin I’ve tried however today I keep encountering an issue that I cannot figure out how to fix!! I’m trying to export frames into a gif - they are 1080 x 1920. I select them all and go to export and the gift comes out with thick white edges on either side and it’s actually resizing the image to 800 x 800. I’ve not ever had it resize the image before. The frame are all the right size and the content is clipped. Anyone have this issue and anyone know how to fix it?!

I teach an UiUx course in a spanish university and We are unable to validate a few accounts. please need some help 

I have 2 files, a mockup file and a text strings variables file with 2 modes. I updated the text variables using a plugin (Sheets <> variables) this plugin replaced old values with new ones and kept the same variable names. On the mockup file, previous values were already assigned, Updating the Text librray file (after publishing) is not updating the variables. Although it does show the updated value in both modes (arabic and english) if I reassign the same text string variable manually. Going over the text one by one would be a hassle, is there a solution to reflect the updates directly, I was expecting it would after updating. Thank you

I’m adding hyperlinks to an editable template in Figma Buzz, and the ‘Mailto:’ function does not seem to work (says invalid link every time). Is there a way around this? I found a plugin to try, but apparently I cannot open the desired plugin within Buzz (fault with Buzz it seems?). ‘Manage plugins’ does nothing in Buzz...

I’m having a problem with the text tool and how it interacts with the rest of my project. Previously, I would be able to hit “T”, click wherever I want the text, hit escape, and that would be it. Now, when I hover the cursor over a rectangle for example, the cursor has a little curve under it, and when I click, the rectangle just disappears. In the layers side bar, it changes the layer name from “Rectangle 2” to “text on a path.”I tried restarting the Figma app, but it’s still doing it. I’m really not sure what I did. How do I get it back to normal? This is the odd cursor in question.​​​​​​ 

I work for an org who have disabled Open Sessions- due to confidentiality risk. Is there anyway for the admin to allow a group of users to have this functionality- ie ring fence functionality for only some users?? 

Hi there! I work for a company that owns over 17 different brands with different brand colors. I want to use Figma Buzz to bulk create a visually identical ad for all the brands, but I want the background color to change across each ad to correspond with the unique color of each brand.  My company has used Token Studio to create color tokens for each brand, and these are linked to Figma Variables. Is there any way in Figma Buzz to link a spreadsheet column to color Variables so that when I use Bulk Create it automatically switches to the correct brand color while keeping the token connected?Hope that makes sense! I used have an example screenshot below as a visual of what I would want to happen as well  

I have a navigation bar component with a variant for each product and I want to set the icon for both the default state and the selected state so that they are filled when selected.  I have this set on the parent component but when I try to use it in an instance, it does not have the icon and just shows the default  Here is it set in the parent component when selected  Here is it set when in default  When I insert an instance of the main component and change the icon buttons to a different state, it resets the icon to the default  This navigation bar component is composed of smaller components including this icon button… not sure where the problem lies.  After I set it once in the instance of the main component it works every time I switch it, but it would be nice for my designers not to have to do that every time .

When placing a text layer inside a frame (without any fill, stroke, or effect), Figma shows an unexpected additional color (usually black) in the “Selection Colors” panel.This happens even if the text is styled correctly using a color variable, and there are no other visible color sources. The color cannot be selected, changed, or removed. Adding a transparent fill just adds another color to the list. The issue appears consistently as soon as a text layer is placed inside any frame. This seems to be a misleading behavior in the Selection Colors panel, as the color is not visually present or technically applied to any element. Any takes on this?
