Vectors not loading

I’m experiencing an issue where certain elements in my Figma file are not loading or displaying correctly in the Figma desktop application, but they do appear correctly when viewing the same file in the browser version of Figma.

Specifically:

  • Some images and visual elements are missing or not rendering in the desktop app

  • The same file loads fully and correctly in the web (browser) version

  • The issue appears to be isolated to the desktop application, not the file itself

This is causing inconsistencies when working locally, as designs look different depending on which version of Figma is used.

Steps Taken / Observations:

  • Confirmed the issue occurs only in the desktop app

  • Verified that the browser version displays all elements correctly

  • The file and assets themselves are intact and accessible online

Hey @Mharshel_program — welcome to Figma Forum, and thanks for taking the time to walk through everything you’ve already tried. I checked this behavior in one of my test files using the Figma Desktop App, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the same issue on my end — that said, let’s take a closer look together.

It’s helpful to know that everything appears correctly in the browser version of Figma Design. To help narrow this down further, could you try the following and let me know what you find?

If the issue persists, please reply back with any updates from the above. If possible, sharing a screenshot that shows the expected view from the browser versus what you’re seeing in the Desktop App — and calling out which vectors or visual elements aren’t rendering — would be especially helpful.

Thanks again for working through this with us! I’ll keep an eye out for your update. 🙏🏻

Hi @Mharshel_program — thanks for taking the time to confirm those details, I really appreciate it.

I haven’t been able to reproduce the behavior on my end, so the next best step is to take a closer look at the specific file where this is happening within the context of the Figma Desktop App. I’ve gone ahead and opened a ticket on your behalf with our Product Support team so they can dig in further.

Your case number is: 1688628, and you should see an email shortly at the address tied to your Figma account with next steps. Thanks again for your patience and for working through this with us as we investigate.
