After publishing my site, the layout displays correctly on desktop browsers. However, when I access the site using my iPhone XR, the layout breaks and appears as the desktop version instead of the mobile version.Steps to Reproduce: Publish a site using Figma Sites. Open the site on an iPhone XR using Safari or Chrome. Observe that the page initially shows the correct mobile layout for a brief moment, then switches to the desktop layout. Expected Result:The site should consistently render the mobile layout on mobile devices.Actual Result:The site briefly shows the correct mobile layout, but then switches to the desktop layout, breaking the design on mobile.Additional Info: The issue appears only on my iPhone XR. Tested using browser developer tools (device simulator) — works fine.

Hi everyone, after the latest Figma update, the quality of my project exports to PNG or JPG has gotten worse. The images used to look perfect when exported at 1x. Now I have to export at least at 2x for them to have good quality, even though I'm setting the export options to High and Detailed.What could be happening?

Any possible hack how to move panel back on top, UI3 is just bad. I dont know who think about pro tools like it is some game/funny app/ People use it as a tool! Please let users customize and do it as they want not by your bloody “dribble” style 

Is it possible to use Figma Make AI to create the initial design and then open it in Figma Design to further customize and make changes? Not sure if it’s possible to import the React code or if there is a way to change to file into something that is compatible. 

Hello! I have two issues to report Issue 1 Brief Description When switching a component instance to a different mode, the icon color resets to its default value. However, if both the instance and the master component are set to the same mode, the icon color displays correctly. Detailed Description 1.1 I created two icon components with variants for each icon (the names of the variants, layers, and icon colors are identical). 1.2 I created variables for the icon color and icon variant, and also created two modes, Mode 1 and Mode 2, to switch the color and variant. 1.3 I copied an instance of the icon component and applied variables for its color and variant. 1.4 When switching between Mode 1 and Mode 2 at the instance level, the icon color and variant switch correctly. 1.5 I created a button component, nested the icon component instance inside it, and applied variables to the icon instance

For the purpose of iteration and seeing changes I did overtime for a project, I like to duplicate a page every time I improved a lot of items. However, I noticed this bug where some components would be treated as new components on the new page, and some remain as an instance from the old page!! This is driving me crazy because  it’s really messing with everything I’ve created. I’ve read an old post saying that I can work around it by copying everything to a new file, then post it back to the old file on a new page. This didn’t do anything… Even in the new file, there would still be instances that take me back to the original component of the old FILE!! Is this how it’s supposed to be or am I doing something wrong? It would ask me to restore the component too. How do you all keep copies of your iterated works for record keeping? Do you just start a new file when you iterate and improve something? 

Figma Buzz looks promising, congrats on the release!I’m curious if its features or functions are available to integrate with third-party plugins for Figma.  Is it possible to invoke any aspect of its functionality or behavior via the current developer API?Thanks!

Hi folks!I am an Angular 19 developer and I want to use all designs, controls and screens built by my colleague in Figma with the M3 library kit. All styles, schemes, background colors (or other colors etc.) refer to the correspondent M3 schemes and colors. Currently I am using a plugin in Figma to export all variables. My question: Based on given export file format (CSS or SCSS)… How to use these variables in Angular/Material3 on development side?

I have a file that contains main components, and in that same file I’m using children of these components as nested components (e.g. component 1 = button, component 2 = card containing button). I created a branch via the branching feature of Figma. However, in this branch, child components and main components lose connection. I change the button, but changes are not visible on the button in the card. The child component still refers to the main component in the main file. Is this supposed to be like that? How am I supposed to test changes to components like this? Right now I would have to make the changes to the button in the main file instead of the branch, which is exactly what I want to prevent by branching. Am I missing something here?

I'm using an icon from the Bootstrap icon library in our project. Some of the icons appear to use boolean operations, and we're unable to change their color in their instance. When we check the vector layer panel, it shows "Update boolean operation," but clicking it doesn't have any effect.

Even when frames share the same name, like ScrollFrame/1 and ScrollFrame/2, and the 'Reset scroll position' option is disabled, the scroll position still resets when navigating back with a back interaction from one webpage to another.

No matter what I search the same items always show up. When I change my search it shows a progress icon and the background is greyed out, but nothing changes(Side note, I also miss the big search bar in the middle of the screen for the community)

Greetings!As soon as I add an annotation to the frame/autolayout, all text styles break in this frame — they are reset.Text styles are stored in the library connected to the design file. I'm the only one with access to the design files and library.This problem is not always reproducible.UPD:I tried adding an annotation in another design file with the same attached library, but the problem repeats.There are no problems in the design library. MacOS, Sequoia 15.4.1Figma app latest

Over the past few months, Figma has been shipping random small updates to the app. One includes the “new” undo system. It almost never does what it’s supposed to do which is UNDO the last thing i did. It usually undos 2 things instead of just one… This wasnt always the case. Like I said earlier they have been shipping a bunch of random stuff not just the new undo system. Another thing they broke which is almost equally annoying is the new “accessibility” UI interactions, where you can use the keyboard to interact with the sidebar. This functionality completely disregards keyboard shortcuts for designing though. You can click a button in the sidebar, go back to designing, press enter and wonder why its not selecting your design and come to find its activating the button you clicked earlier.

Command + /  has always worked but instead brings up a Search box.  Command + .  hides/shows UI.    Why is this and if a common change why do the dropdown menus still list the ‘Command + /’ quick key? Also the haven’t used any new apps (Notion, Spotify and Logic Pro are the main ones) It’s super frustrating when this behavior occurs and want to know if this is something I’ve done or Figma just being slow to update documentation.

Hello community,I was wondering if it is possible (either natively or through a plugin some of you may have come across) to select all component instances on a page based on a specific component property?For example, suppose I have a button component with different "size" variants. One size property is called "desktop" and the other is called "mobile". I want to select only the instances with the "desktop" property.How would I go about doing this? I couldn't find any specific plugin on my own that could help me do this, so I thought I would ask here since someone else may have come across this specific need and solved it.

I’d like to grab an existing site from Github and use it as the foundations for Figma Make. How do I do this?

Hi!I’m having an issue with my hover and scroll behavior. I’m currently trying to create a button that will highlight on hover. However, when I get the highlight to work, I’m unable to scroll when my mouse is over the button. If I move it off the button, I’m able to scroll again.The component I’m using for the hover is not under the “Scrolls” section, because if I drag the layer there, the highlight no longer works.   How do I make my button highlight while also being able to scroll when my mouse is hovering over it? You can view the prototype here to understand the issue better:

I would like to introduce Figma Buzz to my colleagues, but I am not completely sure if it is suitable for what we as a company want to do with it: create large, high-resolution posters for events.I'd like to find out if  (high resolution) files made in & exported from Figma Buzz (often .pdf) are good enough quality to hand off to a professional printing house. Does an exported high resolution PDF in CMYK color format, meet the output format requirements for large-scale printing?Are the raster image handling and (PDF) export option

When right-clicking on the canvas, it unexpectedly selects lock layers. It complicates when you’re trying to use “Paste here.” Is this a bug?

Hi, I’m wondering if any sites I publish with Figma Sites while on full seat will remain live online after I downgrade the plan. I’m assuming it will just not let me make any edits and publish new edits after downgrading, is that correct? 

Figma May 2025 update introduced squiggly strokes. This is great for designers, but how are developers expected to create them on the web? The Dev Mode code output just has a standard border stroke.
