Restored library file spinning endlessly

Erin Lucarelli

A shared team library file was deleted and restored from Team Trash. The file now opens but shows an infinite spinner and no canvas content. I am told it requires backend reindex/repair. Please escalate to engineering, and let me know if you need additional details. Thank you.

I understand that you’re running into an issue where a shared library file remains stuck on a loading spinner after being restored from the Team Trash.

 

To help us narrow this down, could you please confirm the following:

  • Does this happen only in your browser, only in the desktop app, or in both?
  • If another user with editor permissions opens the same file, do they see the same behavior?

If the issue persists, please share the file URL via private message and grant edit access to support-share@figma.com so we can investigate further.

You can do this by clicking the profile icon on this message and then selecting the mail icon. Once we have the URL, I’ll create a support ticket so our team can take a closer look.
