Library panel closes every time I click outside it

Any time I click outside of the library panel, the window closes. It’s extremely annoying! This is only happening in the latest Figma update. Other teams I’m in that haven’t received the update yet don’t have this problem.

Hey @liztheproductdesigner , thank you for flagging this! That definitely looks unexpected, especially since it started after the latest Figma update. I wasn’t able to reproduce the behavior on my end, so the best next step is for our team to investigate this as a potential bug with a bit more context from your setup.

Could you please submit a bug report to our Support team so they can take a closer look? When you do, it would be really helpful to include:

  • Whether this is happening in the desktop app, browser, or both

  • Your OS and app/browser version

  • Whether this happens in a specific file or across all files. If possible, please share the URL of the affected file, and grant ‘can edit’ access with support-share@figma.com so they can take a closer look at it

  • A short screen recording showing the library panel closing when you click outside of it

You can file a ticket by clicking ‘start a chat’ > type ‘submit a bug report’ here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Once submitted, the Support team can investigate further and loop in Engineering if needed. Thanks for taking the time to report this!
