After a library update the review doesn’t work properly anymore in the connected files: When I open the review panel and click through all instances of a component, the preview of the first instance is shown on each page instead of the actual instance. But the button “Go to instance” guides me to the correct instance, so just the preview is wrong.
It doesn’t seem to be a general problem as we don’t have the issue with all our libraries.
The affected library file was rolled back in December to an older state of the file via the history.
Could that be the reason? How can we solve it?

Are you still seeing the incorrect instance preview?
If so, as a first troubleshooting step, please ensure all instances are actually inside their parent frame, not just visually overlapping. If that doesn’t help, try using Quick Actions (Mac: ⌘ Command / or ⌘ Command P · Windows: Control + / or Control + P) > search "Regenerate all instances (slow)" to fix rendering issues.

Yes the issue is still occurring
- the instances have not changed location or position within their frames since it was last working, but can confirm they are not overlapping
- the instances themselves are displayed correctly in the file, it is just the preview that isn’t displaying correctly
- Regenerate, did not fix it

But unfortunately it doesn’t help.
The regeneration of instances has no effect. And like Narelle described, we haven’t changed anything in the file, there is no overlapping and the instances are updated correctly.
I just can’t check it in the preview.
I had the same issue, but it started working today - without any updates.

Oh no, now the “Go to instance” doesn’t work anymore
I had to reopen the file again for it to work, but yes the preview is now working for me. However, same as Ulrike, the ‘go to instance’ does not automatically focus on the current instance. It does select it however, so you need to click on the ‘go to instance’ then press ‘2’ to zoom to selection.
