I have created files sitemap.xml (13 links) and robot.txt in public. But when checking robot.txt I am redirected to the main page, and sitemap contains only one link to the main page. Google Search Console also sees only 1 link in sitemap. Requested help from the support but still no answer. 

I applied for Figma Education verification last Friday because I plan to use Figma for a student program starting this weekend. However, I haven’t received any confirmation yet, even though I submitted the application several times. Could you please let me know when I might expect a response, or if our school (Deungwon Middle School, https://deungwon.sen.ms.kr) is ineligible for verification? Thank you very much for your time and help. Best regards,

Why can’t I just export the selected pdf files merged and compressed?

When I’m selecting a color variable the previews aren’t showing even though my library is enabled and I’ve already tried restarting Figma and my computer? I’m also not on Figma beta

Hi all, I’m running into a frustrating situation in Figma with component instances and variable propagation.I have a button system structured like this: _button/dna → skeleton (spacing, padding, icon placement, pill shape) _button/style → layout + state layers (including hug/fill variants) button/theme → color variables applied to layers in _button/style The problem: When I change a color variable in button/theme, some instances don’t update. Even overrides that aren’t related to color — for example, changing an instance from “hug” → “fill” — blocks variable updates. To work around this, I’ve had to create many extra variants in the theme component to cover each hug/fill combination so variables propagate, which is messy and hard to maintain. This feels like a workaround for a Figma quirk: any override on an instance, even unrelated to color, can stop variable updates from propagating.

I am creating a lo-fi digital prototype in Figma.  All of my connection nodes work in my prototype in preview mode except for the following….”Back” arrow created by using the “line point” tool.  In prototype mode I am able to connect each point to it’s proper page, but when I play my prototype, I get Nothing on every one of the pages that the Arrow is on.  I have tried enlarging the stroke width on the arrow.  deleting the arrows and creating them again.  I am missing something and would appreciate the help.  Thank you...Angel

Hello, My Figma account has been locked and I can't use it anymore. The account status has to be verified by the bootcamp administrator which according to them is already been done.I am pursuing a UX/UI bootcamp from TripleTen.I request you to please get my account verified otherwise I won't be able to start back my projects. Hope to get this sorted as soon as possible so I can resume my studies.Also, please let me know if you need any other details from my side. Thank you!Kreeti

 I’m facing an urgent issue where an important project has disappeared from my Figma account.  It shows font-weigh: 400 on Firefox 144.0 (view node) and doesn’t show variable name  But in the full mode and dev mode it shows font-weigh: 300 and still it doesn't show variable name Design mode 

Hi everyone,As deadline for re-verifying our Education status (29 September) is coming up, I’m very worried our team may not complete it in time, which could impact ongoing design projects. Our issue: VUS (Vietnam-USA Society English Centers) does not appear in the Vietnam academic institutions list during the SheerID verification step. Because of this, we cannot proceed with re-verification for Figma Education. I submitted a support ticket to SheerID last week asking to have VUS added to the schools list. However, the response I received did not resolve the issue (screenshot attached).SheerID Customer Support responseHas anyone faced a similar problem, or does anyone know the best way to resolve this quickly? There used to be a preview of variable details in Dev mode, opened directly from the Inspect panel - now it’s gone. To see this information, you have to open the file with variable definitions (we have components and foundations separately) from the Variable details panel, which means worse usability for developers. Has this change been implemented on purpose, or is it a bug?   

How do I make these red rectangles disappear in my edit page?? These aren’t appearing in the actual site though… I’m 30 minutes into Figma, im a highschool student and I have to finish my project quickly pleas e help 😭 

Hey everyone,I’m having an issue where frames nested inside a parent frame don’t respect their constraints when viewing a prototype on a mobile browser (tested on both iOS Safari and Android Chrome).In the Figma editor everything works perfectly, inner frames resize as expected when the parent frame changes size. But when I share the prototype link and open it on a phone: Child frames inside a parent frame don’t follow their top/bottom/left/right constraints. It seems like the mobile prototype viewer scales the parent frame as a flat image instead of actually resizing it, so the nested constraints never recalculate. The layout looks fine in the desktop viewer and the Mirror app, the issue only appears in mobile browsers.Here’s what I’ve already tried: Setting the parent frame to the exact device size (e.g., 390×844 for iPhone 13) Using Auto layout + “Fill container” instead of fixed widths Disabling the “Show device frame” option Testing both “Fit width” and “Fit to screen” scali

When I export a frame or component at any scale factor (@2x, @3x, or custom), Figma sometimes adds an extra 1 pixel to both the width and height.For example: A 100×100 frame exported at 3x should result in 300×300, but instead, I get 301×301  or 300x301 or even 301x300. This does not always happen, but when it does, it's consistent across devices and files. Affects both PNG and JPG exports, regardless of pixel grid alignment or stroke presence. 🛠️ Workarounds I’ve Tried (with partial success): Creating a new frame, copying content into it, and exporting again — occasionally works. Manually scaling the frame by the desired factor (e.g., scale by 3x), then exporting at 1x — this consistently avoids the 1px error. However, these are not ideal for batch exporting or asset automation.

I am creating an ‘infinite’ photo gallery. Basically a grid of images in various orientations that extends in all directions. I am creating empty rectangles to make the grid shape and then have other people paste their images into each rectangle. The problem I am having is a lot of the rectangles were rotated so when the image is pasted into it, the image is also rotated. Is there a way to make all the rectangles ‘forget’ how they have been rotated and just work as a regular container for the images? thanks

Thanks for the reply ​@Junko3 . I have refreshed Figma a couple of times with no change, and the issue is across all files. I usually only use Figma in Chrome, but just downloaded the desktop app and the files seems to work fine there. Me, and whole my team experience the same issue. But for me, desktop app does not work either.

I’ve been using Figma Make to ideate, and sometimes I get frustrated and end up swearing at the AI. I know that’s silly, but when I did, it said I violated a policy and rejected my request. The issue is that even after I stopped swearing, I still get the same error message: “Please try a different input.”I tried waiting a few hours, but the problem didn’t go away. I even duplicated the file, but the duplicate has the same problem. I can’t use that Figma Make file at all anymore, even if I restore earlier versions and try working on them.What’s going on here? The AI already struggles with following instructions, and now I can’t even interact with it.

I prefer exporting my Outlook emails to Excel because it helps me stay organized and manage my communication better.
