I’ve found this beautiful file in Figma community, I imported it in my project by following the instructions and it work great.
The file is helping to build a form with inputs that are working realistically in a protoype.
Each input of the form is created by adding a new mode (5 inputs = 5 modes).
However since the original file is created with only 3 modes, it looks like that I am able to make it work only till 3 inputs on my file as well. It doesn’t matter how many modes I will add in my variables.
The solution would be to change the variables mode as soon as I import the component in my file, but it’s not possible. The solution that seems to work is to manually review ALL the instances in order to reconnect them with my variable mode file (which is actually the same with the same name and modes as the original one). The problem is that the file contains hundreds of instances.
I like to understand if there is a faster way to connet instances in bulk (I’ve tried few plugins with no results) OR a way to connect a component that has been copied from another file with my local variables.
