Hi Figma Support,I'm experiencing an ongoing bug with the prototype view in the Figma desktop app that affects almost all of my files.**Issue:**When I try to open a prototype (via the Present button or prototype view), it does not open correctly. The prototype either opens the wrong frames, opens unrelated pages, or doesn't function as expected. **What I've already tried:**- Refreshing the editor (Cmd + R)- Closing and reopening the file- Clearing the Desktop App Cache- Duplicating filesNone of these solutions resolved the issue.

Everything was working absolutely fine yesterday, but when I started work today, I now have an issue where I can’t edit any of the text layers in my project.If I double click within the text to edit it, I get a ‘missing fonts’ popup where it asks me to relink the fonts. I do this, but it doesn’t take effect - it just keeps looping the same thing whenever I try to edit any text.I’m on a MacBook Air running Tahoe 26.5, and I’m getting the same issue on both the desktop app and the browser version.The fonts in question are Avenir, which is a Mac system default font, and Font Awesome Pro Plus 7.2.0, which I’ve purchased, but when I try and choose other fonts, some (but not all) are also affected, for example, Gill Sans, which is also a system default installed font.I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling Figma, and I’ve also tried the same fonts in other apps like Textedit and Microsoft Word, and the fonts work fine in those apps, so this is definitely a Figma-specific issue.At the moment, I

Hi everyone, we translate Figma designs using AI. We've tried both a home-made Dust plugin and AI agents (Claude / Cursor) that write back to Figma via the plugin API and MCP. Both hit the same limitation: when a text node has mixed styles (different weights, sizes or colours within the same node), replacing the text flattens everything to a single style.Is there a reliable way to preserve or restore mixed styles after replacing text content?Would love to hear if others have found a workaround, or if this is just a current API constraint.

I desperately need help. I am new to my role and have just been given Figma admin rights. I have logged on to find a $9,240 annual plan renewal invoice that was supposed to be paid last week. The delay in admin handover means I completely missed the 30-day window to review the seats. I am the only designer and yet we have 7 full seats and a bunch of other seats taken by people who aren’t even at the company anymore. I am aware if I delete the seats now it won’t change the upcoming bill for 2025/2026 but please could I get in contact with someone who can help rectify this with me as I am super stressed about this bill.

Figma education not synching. Submitted the docs, got the email confirming approval. Tried signing in on my personal and .edu accounts, still gives me the basic plan despite being verified. Making a team doesn’t help.

Anyone else having this problem and found a good solution?We have a big component library. In some components there is an icon included. The icon in embedded as a component in which you then can select the icon from a different Figma library where we have all our icons. In some (very few) design files the icon changes when inserting the component in the design file. When inserting into the file the icon revert back to the placeholder icon: Icon changed when inserted into design fileWhen I copy the same component (that is wrong) and place it in another design file the icon looks correct: Icon revert back to the correct one when pasted in a different design file.Does anyone else have this problem?We have this now in 3 design files and it seems like the problem is growing...

Hi,I am the owner of a Figma file, but it has completely disappeared from my workspace. I have never deleted this file, and it is not even in my trash.When I try to access the prototype link, I get the following error message: "Prototype not found. Every time I search for my design, I have to remember the name of the document very accurate, if not in that I can’t find it. Plz increase the ability of fuzzy search!For example: I changed the sequence of characters or missing one word, then I can’t find my design. Cuz all my designs are named by Chinese, I don’t know whether this situation happens in English, but I really need you to fix this.The search is the basic experience for document management.

I've searched through the available documentation but haven't found anything that discusses migration or interoperability.My concern is that many developers have invested years building and maintaining classic plugins. I have been using figma motion to create some simple animated labels on top of WebM video renders. The webm video is playing when I preview it in figma, but when I export the video (in any format), the webm video I uploaded no longer plays. The labels I added in figma motion is animated but the webm video behind it does not move when exported. The video is placed on its own within the frame and not as a background fill.Please let me know if there is a solution to this problem!

Please add a setting to disable or hide the blue Agent sparkle that appears on every selection.For users who do not use Figma Agent features as part of their workflow, this becomes a permanent piece of interface noise that provides no value while drawing attention away from the task at hand.Giving users the option to hide Agent-related affordances would create a cleaner, more focused experience without impacting those who choose to use them.

Hi Figma team,I'd like to request a per-account option to disable the AI sparkle (✦) icon that appears when hovering over elements in the editor.Currently, the only way to turn off Figma AI features is at the team admin level, which requires admin access and affects all team members. There's no way for an individual user to opt out of the AI hover trigger on their own account.For users who don't use Figma AI, this icon adds visual noise to the editing experience and can interfere with the workflow — especially when working with dense layers or small elements, where the sparkle icon overlaps with other controls.Requested behavior: add a toggle in user account preferences (e.g. Account Settings → Editor preferences) to show/hide the AI sparkle icon on hover, independently from team-level AI settings.Thank you for considering this!

I have a question about AI credits usage when editor seats are transferred during a monthly billing cycle.Currently, we use a fixed number of editor seats in our account. When someone moves off a project, we remove or downgrade their editor license and assign that editor seat to someone else. So in practice, the seat is being transferred from one person to another within the same billing cycle.I wanted to understand how AI credits behave in this scenario.For example:Our monthly billing cycle includes 3,000 AI credits per editor seat Person A has an editor seat and uses 1,000 credits in the first 10 days On day 11, Person A is moved to a viewer seat or removed from the team Person B is then added as an editor using that same available seatIn this case, does Person B get:The remaining 2,000 credits for that seat/month, since 1,000 were already used by Person A A fresh 3,000 credits, because Person B is a new editor A prorated credit amount based on the remaining days in the billing cycle

Hi, I keep getting this error whenever I try to make any changes to a figma make file. (id: f2e9db60-f50d-4719-8e52-4e31e5afa48e)I tried:Checking the network settings - all fine Cloning the make file Switching accounts and trying from there Testing on the application and browser Restarting the application and browserThe prompt goes through, and seemingly generates something and uses credits(I can see design changes, but not code changes), but fails to actually complete the request before throwing the error and deleting everything it attempted to make. Please help somehow, already lost 400 credits into the void and don’t want to keep trying.Other make files work well. 

In Figma Make, how do you delete extra or empty files from the code tree?I can’t delete them or prompt the AI to delete them successfully. I’d like to make sure they do not confuse future prompts.

I just signed up for a paid subscription - and I had a Motion feature (Beta) that was there before and now I wanted to use it (animate elements) after it said please upgrade - but now that I have signed up it is no longer visible. Please can you urgently assist me?

I added my Framer portfolio website to my Figma Community profile using the new website link feature.Figma displays the website as an animated preview inside a laptop mockup, but my cookie consent popup appears over the website. The preview is animated, but I cannot interact with it or click “Accept cookies”.I noticed that other Community profiles show animated website previews without visible cookie banners. Hello,I’m looking for help with billing Case #1988959.I canceled my Figma Professional annual subscription on June 25 after receiving the renewal notice because I did not intend to continue the subscription.The initial payment attempt failed due to insufficient funds, but the charge was retried several days later and was successfully processed after I added funds to my account for an unrelated subscription.I opened a support case immediately after the charge posted, but I have not received any confirmation email or response, including in my spam folder. The AI chat only tells me that my case has been created.Could someone please confirm that my case is in the billing queue and ask the billing team to review my refund request?Thank you.

Sometimes when I update some tokens, related to aliases (and before all of them are related to the brand primitives set) I got white assignment not this which was assigned … !!! Strange!! I didn’t made any screenshot but it's terribly irritating..
