Question

Figma make credit consumption unusually high

My last few prompts are showing abnormally high credit consumption for relatively simple tasks/requests. For example:

A very simple proposed text request fix used a whopping 520 credits. That was just the proposed fix and question, no actual coding.

I am seeing others report this as well. Can someone take a look? I already provided edit access for figma support.

Hey there, Celine from the Figma Community Support team here! Thanks for flagging the 520-credit usage for a proposed text fix before any code changes were made.

Credit usage can vary with the task’s complexity and the context processed, so the visible result alone doesn’t explain the amount used. Our team will need to review your specific prompts to understand what happened.

I can see your support ticket, thank you for sharing the Support ID directly there and providing file access! I’ve added a follow-up note for visibility, and someone will reply soon with any additional details needed for the investigation. Please continue directly in your support email thread. Thank you!

This isn’t my first time using Make. I am familiar with usage and how more complexity and context can introduce more usage. The largest usage I’ve had in the past is for multiple page designs and complex requests  - and even those would rarely use more than 400 credits. This is not that. These are simple back and forth conversations that are eating huge chunks of credits. I can’t proceed with my work until this is resolved.
