Hi everyone,I’m running into an issue with Auto Layout and component variants and I’m not sure what the correct approach is.I have a button component with two variants:- Default- Hold / While pressing, where the button slightly scales up (as a press feedback)When the component is used on its own, the scale difference between Default and Hold works as expected. However, when I place the button inside a mobile screen frame with Auto Layout, I need to set the button to Width = Fill container to make it responsive. The problem is: in this case, when I switch to the Hold variant, the scale effect is no longer visible: Default and Hold look identical, because Auto Layout keeps the width constrained to the parent. So my questions are:Is this a known limitation of Auto Layout with scaling variants? Is there a recommended way to represent a Hold state that involves scaling when the component must use Fill? From a handoff perspective, should this kind of interaction be documented rather than visuall
Hello! I'm having trouble importing a layout from Figma to Tilda. Is this related to my pricing plan? What plan do I need to upgrade to regain this functionality?
Hi,I’m working on a large project in Figma and have been encountering an issue for several days that I can’t seem to resolve.Certain components are not being published (it’s always the same ones). I can click the Publish button, and the process appears to start. After some time, it shows that the publication is complete. However, when I select the same component again, the Publish button is still visible, as if it was never published.I’ve tried recreating these components, but the problem persists. I also checked all nested components, thinking it might be a dependency issue. Everything inside is correctly named (no duplicates), and all those components are published and up to date in the library.Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? I was ready to give up and rebuild them, but since the same issue keeps happening, I’m completely stuck.
Hi Community,We’re experiencing an issue with Figma variables after exporting design tokens via Token Studio and would appreciate your help.Setup:We maintain all our design tokens in a Google Sheet. This sheet is connected to Token Studio, and we regularly push and pull changes between the sheet and Token Studio. We then export these tokens from Token Studio to Figma as variables (and styles). Problem:After exporting, many variables or styles in Figma appear as broken (showing a question mark icon).Although the variables still exist, their values are not correctly resolved (see screenshot). This problem is occurring for a few weeks now but before that we never had such an issue. To fix this, we currently have to manually remap the variables or styles each time in Figma in order to see the updated values. This happens repeatedly after exports, which makes maintaining tokens quite difficult.Expected behavior:We expect the variables to stay correctly linked and update automatically when
all my figma make files cannot be opened…. is there anyone having same issue? Please help me, thanks!!
I’m exporting PDFs from Figma and noticing a big size jump when using Inter.Example:• 1-page PDF with Inter font ≈ 1 MB• Same page with different font ≈ ~450 KBThis feels large for a single text-heavy page.Does anyone know why only inter does this?
The browser will reload the entire screen in black once, the hackers execute something, and the whole Chromebook blacks out and back in, and then now WebGL error shows up. I cannot load the Figma files in the Chrome browser. The abuse form doesn't work either. Ever. Figma is really hackable. Any fixes?
Asking because my dev team is having trouble locating exact screens they need because the keywords they are searching include items and strings that are cropped out/not visible in the frame. The component is not hidden, just cropped out. Is it possible to search ONLY visible elements in a frame? This would exclude components hidden behind larger ones and also cropped components. I tried searching for plugins and didn’t see this type of question surface yet. I get that it’s probably a super niche case so any kind of answers would be appreciated
Hello guys! I’m building a plugin for my design team that uses the isAsset() function. In one part, my plugin exams all nested children within a given node and returns whether each children is an asset. The function is doing a pretty good job recognizing icons but I ran into some issues with nested components. For example in the screenshot below, the isAsset() function returns true for two layers within the Instagram component, but only one within the facebook component. There were also a few times that running the function on the same component returns different results. Does anyone have similar experience? Is there a workaround to this?
Here is the link to my project: https://www.figma.com/design/fKPN8jRjX3mIYIHC8zpBi7/Картинки-для-объявления-авито?node-id=0-1&t=4ULof3ujOBwWqbkg-0. But for some reason I lost access to it. Is it possible to find out the login of the account that the account belongs to?
Hello Figma Support Team,I am writing on behalf of BLOX Foundation regarding an urgent issue with our official Figma account. Our company account, registered under the email [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII], is currently showing as suspended. We are unable to log in, and all of our important design work and assets are stored on this platform. To be transparent, no violation of Figma policies occurred from our side. We followed all platform guidelines correctly. The suspension happened suddenly and without any prior warning or explanation. Figma did not inform us why this action was taken. This account contains the complete brand and product design files for BLOX Coin and our Layer 2 blockchain ecosystem. Losing access to these files has caused serious disruption to our operations and timelines. We kindly request the following:A clear explanation of the reason for suspension.Immediate review of our account status.Restoration of access so we can continue our work.Guidance on
I created a file and sent out a link for dev on Nov. 30th. Since then I have made updates to the file. Suddenly, the link I provide comes up empty and the file is missing. However, there are 3 copies. One is more of a starter file and the other two only show a version history of Nov. 30th and neither have the recent updates. I did not delete the original file nor make the copies, at least not that I’m aware of. I guess i’m going to edit one of the copies and go from there but would love to know how this happened. Anyone have any clue?
My other account has been suspended as well. I already reported the issue to the official support team by email, but it still hasn’t been resolved. I have many important files in that account, and the suspension has seriously disrupted my work and caused significant financial losses. I’d really appreciate your help in resolving this as soon as possible.
I'm currently experimenting with our design system library file. Whenever I select a library in Figma, the generated global CSS changes. However, when I add our library, the generated global CSS doesn't reflect our color variables, typography styles, or effects defined in Figma. How can I generate a proper global CSS that accurately uses the color variables, font styles, and effects from our actual Figma library?
I am unable to update my website since my last prompt so please help me for that Thank you
Hi Figma Support Team,My recent payment of $5 did not go through. I then manually attempted to pay using the link in the invoice, but the payment failed again. There are no issues with my card—I’ve confirmed this with my bank and also tried multiple cards. After these attempts: The invoice payment page now shows an error (screenshot attached). When I try to change the payment method, it shows another error (screenshot attached). The Stripe payment page explicitly asks me to contact Figma. Team name: OLITORole: AdminI reached out to support earlier, but so far I’ve only received links to help articles, and responses are extremely slow (about one reply per day). This has been going on for several days now, and my team’s work is completely blocked due to this unresolved $5 due.I want to be very clear: I am ready and willing to pay, but the payment is failing due to system errors beyond my control. If a payment is overdue, blocking just the affected seat would make sense—but currently,
I followed this doc https://developers.figma.com/docs/figma-mcp-server/local-server-installation/ to enable MCP server. Also, setup claude code as MCP Client. However, when I prompt “Implement this Figma design. {DESIGN_URL}” claude code tries to fetch design details but fails with error code 403.I see mcp server configured correctly.
Dear Figma Support Team,I am writing to request a refund and correction regarding my recent subscription payment processed on January 4, 2026.I noticed that the subscription total increased significantly from $23.60 (Invoice: [redacted]) to $70.80 (Invoice: i[redacted]). Hello — I’m a developer trying to get my website online. Everything goes smoothly until the final stretch of publishing. We’re using Figma make with AI to design it and code it. Around 90% into the deploy, the publish process suddenly fails and I’m hit with a slew of CSS errors. I know the AI assistant attempted to upgrade the project to CSS Level 4, and I reverted it back to CSS Level 3 for compatibility/support reasons. However, when I try to deploy, I’m still seeing CSS errors. Despite multiple checks, the AI keeps suggesting this may be an issue on Figma’s side. The site is alignment-ai.io and it’s currently deployed, if you’d like to inspect it with DevTools to see the errors directly. I’ve tried everything I can control on my end: cache busting, dozens of code checks, removing our Google Analytics tag, and rolling back to prior versions. No luck — the site still goes offline. This also happened on a previous build around New Year’s, so we duplicated the project into a fresh build
Hello,I'm trying to embed a figma-prototype into our application where I need to use the Embed API to track the movement of respondents through the prototype.I need to read PRESENTED_NODE_CHANGED and INITIAL_LOAD.I need to set last visited node after LOAD.I'm having trouble getting the Embed API to work for unlogged users (no figma session, no figma cookie).Your example on the website do that. And according to the documentation it should be possible.https://developers.figma.com/docs/embeds/embed-api/#example-index-filePrototype URLhttps://embed.figma.com/proto/W6MiVVVuvJb5sdOihk2uxE/Unilever---Snack-snap?content-scaling=fixed&kind=proto&node-id=48-4510&page-id=1%3A2&scaling=scale-down&starting-point-node-id=48%3A4510&embed-host=cawi&client-id=Ptr4uxHDgFfqLl6vjtttEPPrototype is shared public. Demo https://cawi.nms.cz/3e1f3e8?Expected Embed API works like this without be logged into figma. When I am logged in:But in anonymous window (without logged into figma)

I have had issues lately where my prototypes are super slow. I have tried: Removing as many auto layout frames as i can Removing as many unnecessary interactions as possible Removed variables that was used in prototyping Detaching a lot of instances Created a flow that avoided overlays I did manage to create a prototype that was usuable by exporting my frames as png and bringing them back in to Figma and putting the components necessary for the flow on top of the images. But this solution obviously isn’t great in the long run. I think the issue might stem from a component from my design system. But I haven’t located the issue yet. Has anyone had similar issues and found a solution?
