Our icon naming convention uses PascalCase with no spaces—names like UiMiscHeart. When I try to search for an icon from outside the icon library, keyword-based searches don’t work unless I enter the beginning of the component name exactly. For example, searching for “heart” won’t return UiMiscHeart, but “uimisch” will. However, when I search within the icon library’s source file, partial matches work as expected. This issue only occurs when searching from other files. Did fuzzy search used to work more reliably across files? I feel like it used to behave better.  

I used the COPY PNG feature a lot and paste it into a fill layer. This week that functionality broke down. Now if you try and COPY PNG and paste it will only do it for one layer and remove every other fill layer. In the past you could choose the fill layer so it would preserve backgrounds or any other fills. Seems like perhaps the latest update broke this feature? 

I’m experiencing an odd bug. Some components when a variant is swapped will not fully swap out colors. See images/example below.As you can see in the last screenshot here, the text is not fully changing color. The text color should be gray and not white. Please help 🙂

Hello, I have a large group of different shaped icons that I’d like to size using variables for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile.Is there a way to apply a 100% height value or set a fixed aspect ratio so I can control them via a single width variable? It would save me a lot of time.Thanks,Will

I created a hover button, my goal was when I click on the button, it should divide in three parts like retro style, I kinda achieved it, but the problem I faced was, when I previewed it, the button was kind of bouncing or dancing, I rechecked everything and everything was fine, can anyone tell me the solution.

In an internal Plugin I want to upload svgs from Figma to Github.With Github.com that works fine, however, to make it work with our Github Enterprise account I have trouble.To check if the plugin can even connect to GitHub Enterprise, I use this reduced code:  However, I get the error notification “Failed to connect to GitHub Enterprise API”.Our GitHub enterprise is internal, accessible behind a VPN. I am running FIGMA with the plugin code from within the VPN, but I am thinking that this call I do might still come “from outside” and therefore cannot access the internally GitHub Enterprise? 

Unable to load anything inside Figma. All images in dashboard (project thumbnails) and images inside projects are not loading at all. Some plugins like Unsplash are not working as well. Unable to export screens as PDFs as well. Tried clearing cache, using a different PC, a different browser, a different network, to no avail. Just noticed, in the console in Figma, I'm getting a "ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED". I'm not using any VPN and have tried connecting to a different network to no avail.

My figma file would automatically delete some content from my design draft, resulting in a large area of content being lost. Even after I retrieved it from the historical files, the content would still continue to be lost. I felt very panicked

I have tried a support ticket. And I would like to give Figma some money. But sales does not seem to want our money. My question is...we need MANY MODES. Ca we get away with ONLY one or two enterprise licenses to create and manage modes?The thinking is, can my designers with a pro license CHOOSE THE MODE in their designs, while they still only pay for the pro license $15?But our admins could buy $75 enterprise licenses. @figmasupprt does it work that way? I’m experiencing an issue with Figma. When I select the ITALIAN keyboard layout, the shortcut for "Decrease Font Size" doesn’t work. Apparently, it seems to be the only one that isn’t functioning correctly!Here are some additional details:I’m using the desktop app . I’ve tried changing the shortcut settings in my operating system, but it still doesn’t work. I also tested Better Touch Tool , and it seems to be the only solution that works, but I don’t think it’s reasonable to buy an app just to fix a single keyboard shortcut. At first, I thought this might be a problem with Google Chrome , since the same shortcut opens the "Help" menu in Chrome. However, the issue persists even when I’m not using Chrome.Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this?Apple M3 ProSequoia 15.4.1 

In order to create a chatbot based on a flow chart I created with Figma, I have to give each item a unique code.Is there any automatic way of doing it?Doung it manually is a hassle… Thanks

UPDATE: It looks like it has to do with the stroke on the component. When I removed the stroke the component properly rendered.When viewing my prototype and setting it to be responsive, components that are set to fill are not filling correctly. Content on the component will move but the background does not move. This was working just fine last week. This is how the screen looks before making it responsive This is how the screen looks after making it responsive As you can see, the actions in the top header move as they should, but the background does not move.

Icon button to hide grid style is missing on hover. Grids are visible. They cannot be turned off from any frame including local components.    

Hello, i’m going back to figma after a while without practicing so i’m doing some project for fun. I only learned it during 1 year of school so i don’t have all the tips. I’m actually trying to do a little database of a video game i like and it’s been some days i’m stuck with this problem (see the image below). I have cards with the full art of my characters and i created components to have a portrait of them on hovering. But when i hover, the card is coming on the front over the filters. And i really don’t know what i’ve done wrong here.The cards components are set in “open overlay”, in “manual” position. And they are not inside anything, they are free (second image).If someone have any clues or ideas of what my problem is, i’ll be glad to listen ! And i can give other informations if you need 

I previously asked if anyone at Figma is in fact using components with more than 10 variants and care about sorting them? I asked why they did away with the pill-shaped list that was better? Looks like they keep pushing this absolute garbage vertical list that most of the time cannot be reordered and the same time waste a lot of space on the right hand side of the variant names.I reported this several times, sorting of variants is either not working or is at best clunky when it does.Today, yet again, I am not able to sort / reorder my variants. This keeps coming back again and again, it’s ridiculous already.Now I genuinely ask myself if this is actually a Figma feature or I am very, very stupid? Since I hover over a variant, click to grab it, drag it around, and not only it will not scroll down in that garbage list but will also release that variant IN A RANDOM PLACE. Like what --?So I would like to know if this works for You and IF it does

I believe it may require some technical attention or at least further investigation from the Figma support team.The issue arises when I attempt to preview any interactive flow within a prototype. Specifically, the moment I click on any prototype element—such as a navigation link, interactive button, or screen transition—the preview environment freezes for several seconds. After this brief pause, the entire preview screen abruptly disappears and is replaced by a blank white screen. I’m not sure what’s causing this, but all the frames on my backup page (not the main page) disappeared. When I check the version history, the version 5 minutes prior to the current one still shows the frames and nobody should have made any changes on this page.In those 5 minutes, I didn’t use any plugins on the file. I was working on the main Design page and updated component changes from the file library. This happened to me twice this week on 2 separate projects. At first I thought I just mistakenly deleted the whole page, but this time it left the comment notes, sections, and imported images so I’m sure I couldn’t have accidentally deleted the whole page contents while leaving some stuff behind.At the moment, I can restore the contents by copy and pasting from the version history, but all the comments end up in the wrong places. Would be great to have this fixed.I’m using Figma Desktop App version 125.2.3

A file named "Personal Project" has suddenly disappeared and is no longer accessible. When I tried to open the file I received the error message ‘access denied.’ I tried opening the file again, it dissapeared from the recent file lists, and I can’t find it. I have checked the Recycle Bin, but it is not there either.This file was still present and accessible just 1–2 weeks ago, and I have not made any unusual changes or deletions.Also I see this message do I need to upgrade to see my file again? or different problems?

I have updated to the latest mode. However, under the same network condition, my friends around me can open all items on the homepage, but the client on my computer has been loading and cannot be displayed.
