I’m publishing my Make kit package (@my-org/figma-make-kit) to Figma’s npm registry from GitHub CI (currently 2.0.0), but when a user in our Org creats a new Make files using our Kit, Figma Make still pull the older kit-published version (1.0.0).When I try to update the kit in Figma via Edit items in kit + Update kit + Publish, Figma attempts to publish the package to Figma’s npm again and fails with “this package version already exists” and the Update kit modal also tries to bump the version (e.g., 2.0.1), which would then conflict with my CI publishing flow, as the next time we would try to publish from CI to Figma, we will get an error in CI “this package version already exists”.Is it possible to automate publishing of Figma Make Kits from our own CI?Why Figma Make is not able to consume the latest CI-published version to Figma’s npm registry without requiring Update kit to publish a new package version?

Figma Desktop App 126.9.11 (macOS, Apple Silicon), updated this morning. What's happening:I use a cover page in each product file and set the cover frame as the file thumbnail. The cover is an instance of a component from our shared library, so updating the main component updates the cover in every file. When the thumbnail frame is a component instance, the elements inside it don't render in the file thumbnail. The file browser shows only the background glow; the logo, title, description and icons are missing. If I right-click the instance and choose Detach instance, the elements come back and the thumbnail renders correctly. Steps to reproduce:1. Create a cover component in a library file and publish it.2. In another file, place an instance of the cover on the Cover page.3. Set that frame as the file thumbnail.4. I am a higher education student in Tunisia, and I am trying to renew my eligibility for Figma Education after my previous student verification expired.I was previously able to access Figma Education and successfully verify my student status as a student in Tunisia. However, when attempting to renew my eligibility, I noticed that Tunisia is no longer available in the SheerID verification form.I also reviewed SheerID's documentation and found that Tunisia is now explicitly listed among the countries where SheerID does not support verification. Hi Figma team,I’m posting here because I’m really hoping someone from the Figma team can help me with an unexpected annual renewal.Today, I was charged $433.92 USD for the annual renewal of a Figma Professional workspace.This workspace belonged to a work team that stopped actively using Figma around Aug 2026. When the team stopped using the workspace, I unfortunately forgot to downgrade the plan and check the billing status. Hi everyone, does anyone know how Figma handles AI-content provenance when generating and exporting images? For example, Nano Banana uses SynthID, while other models may use C2PA metadata or Content Credentials. However, I can’t find any Figma documentation explaining:Whether these provenance signals are preserved when an image is exported from Figma, Whether Figma adds its own machine-readable marking, Which standard Figma uses to comply with Article 50(2) of the EU AI ActHas Figma published anything about this, or has anyone tested exports from the different models available in Figma? I couldn't find anything so far?

I can’t resize objects without it getting in the way every timeI can’t close the prompt modal- it sits over my designs and I can’t even move it out of the way.

I have a component for form options that on some occasions needs a tooltip. The problem is that if you set the text layer to Hug, the text will not wrap for narrow content areas. And if set to Fill, it pushes the icon component. I really just want it to function like html <p> My text label <span>[icon]<span></p>Because of this issue, designers need to detach the core component just to add a tooltip (and the they use the incorrect icon size and style). Or they are just slapping the icon and moving it over the component just so it ‘looks’ like its at the end of the paragraph. This is frustrating me to no end. Figma is supposed to be a tool to create web interfaces, yet the most basic of web features, inline-block text isn’t possible to accomplish. Is there a hack?

Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone from Figma or someone who has experienced this can help me resolve a long-running Education verification issue with my BCIT email (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@bcit.ca).This originally happened in September 2025.I successfully completed the education verification process through SheerID. SheerID later confirmed in writing that my verification was approved on September 9, 2025.The problem is that on September 29th, 20 days after I had successfully verified, Figma asked me to verify again because of changes to its verification requirements.When I followed Figma's instructions and attempted to verify again, SheerID gave me a Verification Limit Exceeded error.I contacted SheerID support. They investigated and told me:My verification had already been successfully approved. My verified email was xxxxxxxxxxxx@bcit.ca. My verification date was September 9, 2025. Since this week (updated figma), video fills in prototypes freeze on the first frame while the audio track plays. Safari, Chrome, and the desktop app, on three separate Apple Silicon Macs running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2, plus iOS. Same prototypes play normally on a Mac still on 26.3. Source files play fine as local mp4s (H.264). Disabling "hardware-accelerated video decode" in chrome://flags makes them play, so it looks like Figma's video stream vs Apple's decoder. 26.6.2 has been installed since Sep 1 and everything played until this week, so the change seems to be on Figma's side. Each frame is a single video fill, autoplay and loop on. Ticket #2147683 is in. Anyone else seeing this? (Possibly related to the Motion first-frame thread from June, though sounds different.)

A recent update moved the "make an image" prompt box onto the canvas, relocating it from its previous position above the toolbar.It's no longer possible to add frames or other images as references using the plus button that appears on hover. Additionally, a colleague of mine doesn't have the plus/attach button in the chatbox at all.

Feature request / UX issue: Persist folder sorting preferenceWhen I change the folder sorting from the default “Last modified” to “Alphabetical”, Figma immediately resets it when I enter a sub-folder — and again when I navigate back to the parent folder.The selected sorting preference should persist throughout folder navigation, rather than reverting to “Last modified” at every level.This is a small but surprisingly frustrating UX issue that seems like a relatively simple fix.

Recently I was unable to upload or add any images or file within my system to the figma make (Add images or files) option for further processing. If anyone knows any solution for this then please help me out!
