Hi! I’m struggling figuring out how to optimize some buttons/components with variables.I’m trying to make tags with different sections. Essentially, I need to find a way to have the tag style change based on what tag section its in and if its been selected. I have tags for the following:Culture (red), Food (orange), Adventure(green), and Leisure (blue).They should all have two modes: selected and unselected.Each category has 10 tags. So, for example, culture has:architectureartceremonial siteshistorical museumsmonumentsreligious structuressacred groundswrecks & ruinsviewpoints How do I use variables to change the following: tag contents (text), tag color (both depending on if its a culture, food, adventure, or wellness tag AND if it is/isnt selected). For context, I’m trying to optimize my prototype in figma so that I can then use the React extension and minimize the extra coding I have to do.

It's a Figma OAuth integration that reads design tokens and converts them into AI-readable skill files/format for coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor. Scopes requested: file_content:read, file_metadata:read, library_assets:read I understand the team is experiencing high submission volume, but I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm: 1. Whether my submission is in the queue2. Any rough estimate on when I might hear back The approval is currently blocking our product launch and marketing efforts.

Hello,I am a user of the Figma Enterprise version.To use the Code Connect feature, I created a Figma project, converted it into a library, and published it. However, when I clicked the 'Connect to components code' button to link the components to code, I discovered that a GitHub account belonging to another user was already connected.I understand that in an Enterprise environment, the integration between Figma and a GitHub account can be configured at a team or organizational level by an administrator. I would like to know if the current issue is caused by such a centralized setting or if there is another reason.Could you please let me know if there is a way to change the connection to my intended GitHub account or to disconnect the existing one and set up a new connection?Thank you.

Hi, After a whole day of editing, I finished around 6pm and I wanted to save my work. I could not see how I could do so. Therefore, I asked you chat bot ai on the left. Immediately, it refreshed the page and all the content I created was lost. Then, I asked your bot to retrieve it, and it could not, saying I should have saved. But nowhere it was explained how to save… which is why I asked the bot. I could not imagine that asking would delete all my work. It is impossible to retrieve the version now, according to your bot. However, I am sure that it is recorded somewhere in your files and that you can retrieve it. Please help me I worked all day long and I lost it because of your non-user friendly interface. Even your bot is saying it. (see pictures enclosed) It even advises me to complain on Social Networks. Thks for your help. 

I have a boolean variable to show/hide a layer, but I can’t assign it to the layer. I swear the icon for it used to be in this panel. I am going crazy.

Hi everyone,I’m facing a serious issue with a Figma Professional subscription that I recently purchased, and I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar or can advise.🧾 Situation I purchased a Professional Full seat (monthly) subscription. Payment was successful, and I received an invoice confirming the subscription. Right after purchase: I created a design inside that team. Then suddenly, the entire team disappeared from my account. The design is also gone. ⚠️ Current Problem I no longer see the team in my account. I do not have admin/owner access (I wasn’t the owner). I cannot contact any admin or member of that team. Invitation links return: “Page not found” I did not receive any email about deletion or removal. The subscription is still active and billed to that (now missing) team. 🚫 Limitations I cannot: Access the team Restore it Transfer the subscription Figma support bot indicates: Subscriptions are tied to teams

How in God’s name do you change the angle of a gradient when selecting multiple layers of text?amazing that this $10b company hasn’t made this obvious/easyThe “rotate gradient” button does exactly nothing.  

I have some buttons that have a hover effect and in the prototype there is slight movement of the content. I checked the position of the content to be the same in both instances (default and hovered) in regards to the margins and in between items I applied a “while hovering” interaction with instant animation This also seems to happen in between separate screens of a prototype for text in a header component that doesn’t have animation applied or any other interaction. Anyone has any idea?

hi there a few minutes ago I upgraded my account from free to professional / dev seat / one month payment specifically to be able to use this mode.  the team settings shows it is ok:  although, it is strange it shows last active 4 month ago, weird, I am using Figma being logged in everyday If I go to this design  and try to switch to dev mode at bottom, it tells me I still need to update. please resolve

I used all my credits in Figma Make, so I created a professional account.Now I’m trying to copy and paste the same frame into Figma Make, but I keep getting an error saying:“The image is too large. I canceled my subscription, but the money came out. pay time is 2026.04.08 15:41:36 in KOREA time. I checked that it was changed to a free plan and it's ridiculous. Please give me a refund right away.

We tried to update our payment details with a new credit card. After entering the information, we received an error message with a red prompt asking us to add an address. When attempting to do so, another message appears:“There were some issues with loading our payment form. Please refresh and try again.” We have tried multiple times, including refreshing and restarting the app, but it is currently not possible to update any payment details. We would appreciate your support in resolving this issue. Creating a comment in FigJam will often cause cursor to get stuck in Hand Tool mode. Especially so on click and drag to create a comment area selection.  Only way I’ve discovered to release the state and return the cursor to Pointer / Select Tool is to click create new tab, or navigate to another tab, and click back. It’s a common mis-click and leads to significant efficiency disruption. Anyone else experiencing this?

Assets floating panel bug. The panel is cut off, and some items are out of view.Another bug. When renaming a prototype, I can no longer use the left/right arrow keys to move between characters. Instead, they select all of the text. 

In the ‘off’ state the clickable area for the toggle that switches booleans in components is tiny! The newest update makes the toggle smaller, and the border colour is very faint. Basically impossible to see and the clickable area is ~16px.Make it bigger please! I’m trying to get my work done, not hit an apple with a bow and arrow at 100 metres away

My goal is to enable both designers and non-designers to generate consistent UI screens using our unique Design System through AI.While the generation process is impressive, we often need to move the results into a Figma Design file for detailed iterations and final hand-offs.Here is my core question: When we "Send to Design File," is there a way to ensure the generated components and tokens remain actively linked to our original Library (Design System file)?For our workflow, it’s crucial that: Non-designers can generate layouts that stay on-brand. Designers can take over those files without losing the connection to the main library (to avoid manual re-linking or detaching). Is there a specific way to configure the Kit or the export process to keep these library instances "live"? Hi, we have been having issues with font names changing for our brands but having spoken to our team no one has been changing them. We need help understanding how is this happening as this causes issues with our Token Studios and tokens. They start to break the dev side.

I’m seeing a mismatch between SVGs returned through Figma MCP and SVGs exported directly from the Figma UI.What I expectedWhen I request a vector/component asset through MCP, I expected the SVG export to preserve the same export box/canvas as the original Figma component/frame export.What happens insteadThe SVG asset returned through MCP appears to be tightly cropped to the inner vector path bounds, while the direct SVG export from Figma keeps the full component canvas.Concrete exampleI have an alphabet component where each letter is designed inside a 42x42 frame/component.the MCP asset is cropped to the actual stroke bounds the direct Figma export preserves the full 42x42 canvas and empty space/paddingWhy this mattersThis breaks 1:1 implementation workflows when layout depends on the original component export box.
