Hi everyone,I’m working on a very specific requirement for an LCD screen prototype and I’m running into an issue with Figma exports.Here’s the context:I have frames sized 100 × 42 pixels. The goal is to export this frame pixel-perfect, because it will be displayed on a physical LCD screen of this resolution (not sure about the DPI but does it matter). It is meant to be a display test, all screens will be then coded on a framework for HMIs called emWIN, but we need to make sure the designs fit first.) The LCD only supports pure black or pure white pixels (no grayscale, no anti-aliasing). Every time I export from Figma (PNG or JPEG), the image gets blurred or anti-aliased, introducing grayscale pixels and round corners instead of sharp black and white. Hey all,I’ve been diving into Figma Motion recently and wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same friction with timeline animations.Whenever I animate Position, Scale, or Appearance (like Opacity) from A to B, and then later to C, the plugin automatically applies continuous interpolation. It completely skips waiting at point B and just smoothly transitions through the whole timeline.My current workaround: I've been forcing a "hold" by dropping two identical keyframes side-by-side to trap the value and make it pause.My questions for the community: Who else has noticed this default behavior? Is there a cleaner fix, like a shortcut to toggle interpolation to "Step" or "Hold"? Thanks in advance for any tips!

Hi,I currently have two Figma accounts:My personal account, where I have all of my projects. A second account using my university email, which has the Figma Education plan.I'd like to use the Education benefits on my personal account instead.Is there any way to transfer my Education status to my personal account?Also, if transferring isn't possible, can I change the email address on my Education account to my personal email and then apply for Figma Education again using my university email without any issues? Or would I permanently lose my Education benefits?What would be the recommended approach in this situation?Thanks!

Figma Config 2026 introduced the new feature that lets you generate your own plugins. In one of the demo videos, there's an example where images are arranged in an ellipse.I've been trying to recreate that layout using the generated plugin, but I haven't been able to get close, even after experimenting with different prompts and plugin settings.Has anyone managed to recreate this effect? As an e-commerce designer based in China, I create product hero images and detail banners for e-commerce platforms with Figma. All designs must be exported as raster images. I found that images exported from Figma appear noticeably blurry compared to Photoshop under the exact same canvas size settings.Our current workaround is exporting assets at 2x scale in Figma, then scaling them down to the original required size in Photoshop manually. I hope the Figma team could improve the built-in export rendering quality to achieve the same crispness as Photoshop at native resolution.

Hi, I’m using the brush option for my stroke and it looks basically perfect minus one point where the stroke tapers.  I’m using the brush “blockbuster” and have the uniform width profile, which I thought would make it uniform all around but you can see the top right corner is not quite flush in width. Is there any workaround to this? 

With components, I very often have to clean up layers by ungrouping unnecessary groups that only have one child. imagine you have a styled box inside your main component wrapper, but the main component wrapper itself could have just carried the styling, thus saving 1 unnecessary layer. So I have to transfer the styling and autolayout (basically all properties) from the box to the outermost layer. This used to work justs by copy and pasting properties. But now it seems that Autolayout properties do not get copied anymore. Does anyone have some kind of plugin or other solution for this?

Our team is noticing that our main design system library is having hundreds of changes flagged in the publishing panel, even after a weekend of not working on the library. The panel shows what’s modified, removed, or added, but isn’t clear what the changes are or what caused them. It’s scary publishing these types of updates because they aren’t coming from our team. Is this something being caused by Figma? How can we feel comfortable publishing so many changes when we weren’t even the ones making them?

Hi, we are having an issue with figma slides and the layout shifting on random slides when a certain user joins. The left margin seems to disappear and information on that side hugs to the outside of the frame. It appears to be random but the shift is identical across a random number of slides. What is going on? Thanks
