I’ve tried several times to verify my student account, but each attempt says I’ve exceeded the limit for the student plan. When I use old verification links, they’re expired, forcing me to start over.I’ve also contacted SheerID multiple times, but they keep sending the same automated response:They mentioned missing details like “No Program ID,” “No Verification ID,” and “External User ID Not Present,” but I don’t understand what these mean or how to fix them.Could you please help reset my verification attempts or guide me on how to start fresh? I’ve been trying for quite some time without any success.

I am the admin and sole Full Seat in an enterprise/company account. Lately I feel like Figma changed the way they do permissions but I can’t put my finger on it. I saw a thread where people reported users getting 3-day access when they request an upgrade (I am truly shocked -- that is a huge security and file integrity risk). I don’t think I’ve come across that yet but I’m very stressed at the prospect. Today’s weird details:Someone I’ve never heard of in my company requested to edit a file, and I clicked DENY (I’m the only designers and closely guard the files). In fact I don’t remember anyone ever requesting to edit a file, and I’ve gotten TWO edit requests this week. I went into admin to double check, and there was this guy listed with a FULL SEAT. I hovered over it and it said he was manually approved by me just before! I had to change his access to Collab (the only files I’ve allowed people to edit are FigJam files).

I need a single line of text to fit within a container without wrapping, breaking the boundary, or truncating. I need the text to get smaller when it gets too long to fit, either by reducing font size or overall scale. The text is dynamic, so I can’t reliably tell how long it will be to pick an ideal font size. Things I’ve tried: Standard left and right with top and bottom constraints, but if the text becomes too long, it wraps and breaks the boundary or truncates. Using text auto width with scale constraints, but the text just grows outside the boundary. Using text auto width then wrapping it with an auto layout, thinking the layout could hug the text and use scale constraints to get smaller, but hug resizing and scale constraints are mutually exclusive. Is there any way to do this dynamically?

Any format of images are not visible in preview mode/prototype, but visible while export as PDF/.JPG/.PNG. Have debugged basic problem like frames, blend, fill etc… Anyone have any idea about this? I stucked with this problem☹️

Why are the "Save to version history" and "Show version history" options disabled in Figma Make, even on a paid account?

I have created a component with two layers of text on a curve/path. When I use instances of this component, both text layers do not match the original component’s location. I’ve tried changing the contraints for these layers to everything and nothing seems to help. Any ideas?

I used to be able to see the pixel distance between a frame and an object inside it by holding the Option/Alt key. But now hovering while holding Alt no longer shows the offset horizontal and vertical measurements. Smart Snap is still working but offset measurements do not appear at all.Is there any way to restore this feature? Thank you.

I have been working on some projects for a couple of weeks.  I wanted to move them to another brand new Figma account.  I exported and then imported the project.  I was hoping it would go ahead and setup a new Supabase like it did when I first created the project.  The problem is that it didn’t and I have followed everything Figma is telling me to fix the issues on the Supabase side.  Stilling have Supabase issues like the health test failing; so it isn’t even a Figma issue.  Any way to start fresh and using an import project and everything is done for me?  Oh and I don’t care about the data or any ids related to the project.

 Hello guys! There is an issue I am running into when I’m trying to export my artwork from Figma to Illustrator. First I’m saving my work as a PDF from Figma, then I open it in Illustrator, convert it to CMYK, everything is fine at this point, but when I’m saving it from Illustrator and then open in preview all the colors look much paler then they are. Hey everyone, I’m struggling with instance swapping for icons. In my icon library, I have 2–3 color variations and 2–3 size variations for the same icon, and it’s a pretty large library. I’ve already corrected the naming and layers according to best practices and expected the swap to work, but the icon button color still doesn’t stay preserved when I change variations. Has anyone faced this issue before? Any ideas on how to solve it?Also, I’d really appreciate if someone could share an example of how to structure naming conventions when managing multiple icon sizes and color variations. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone — I’m seeing unexpected behaviour in the Figma Desktop app on my Mac and hoping others can confirm or help.What’s happening: When I try to scroll up and down with my mouse/trackpad in the Figma Desktop app, the canvas zooms in and out instead of panning/scrolling. This happens even when I’m not holding the Cmd key (⌘). When it occurs: It happens consistently in the Figma Desktop app on macOS and on the browser version. It doesn’t seem to matter whether I use a trackpad swipe or a USB mouse scroll wheel. What I expect: Normal vertical scrolling should move the viewport up/down (or if at canvas edge, scroll the file UI). Zooming should only occur when I hold the appropriate modifier (Cmd/Ctrl or pinch gesture), not for plain scroll gestures. I’m trying to get Cline to ingest Figma files for a variety of use cases. One is to have it run a checklist of design library guidelines on a set of screens that are nearly ready to be passed to Dev. Or, have Cline be a chatbot assistant that understands a very large service blueprint. However, whenever I give it the Figma files, it always locks up as there is way too much information in the files for the model to take on. I’ve tried to parse or chunk this out but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me understand what I can do differently? I’m using the MCP server, and saw from a YouTube video (22 mins mark) that the MCP should have a way to auto chunk this but I cannot get this to work. TIA

Already asked here:  But I’m having this same issue and have no idea what the resolution is.Things keep showing as edited and “properties changed” when I didn’t touch those pages at all. My team and I now have to make another branch off the main when we are done working, copy and paste our work into the second branch and archive the first branch we did all the work in bc the first branch always shows so many edits and we can’t pin down what is going on.

Empty spaces in sticky components are allowing clicks for the components below them. The sticky frame has a solid fill with natural blending mode. It is also above the other components in the layers panel.How to block the clicks?
