Will using the plugin i created with figma agent also use up figma ai credits?

I created a custom plugin using Figma Agent and I'm trying to understand how AI credit usage works.

If I use the plugin I built, does each interaction still consume Figma AI credits, or does credit usage only apply during the plugin creation process?

Hi there! Using the plugin you’ve already created doesn’t consume Figma AI credits, so you won’t be charged credits for each interaction.

Building the plugin with Figma Agent in Design does consume AI credits, drawn from the same balance as other generally available AI tools. Once it’s built, running a generative plugin does not consume AI credits. Hope that clears things up!
