This is a very weird way to phrase it, but I’m working on a page that is one consistent scroll to the very bottom of the page with no redirects or second pages. I’m trying to use the Present function to view if everything is lining up the way I want it to, but Figma doesn’t even scroll down further than the second image. The second image will not scroll manually or even by the “On Click” function I have set up. Just wondering if there was any specific reason. I have each section of the page setup into it’s own group, all in one frame.

I have created a prototype to test a mobile app. When testing, the vertical scroll on long pages works great with the middle mouse scroll button. When trying to scroll by simulating the tap (mouse hold and drag up or drag down) the prototype “springs” and scrolling doesn’t work. It scrolls then it jumps back to either the original position or a bit lower/higher. It’s hard to explain. The problem is that I am now testing the prototype on mobile, and the tap hold and drag action from mobile makes scrolling difficult and annoying. Do you have any idea on how I could fix this?

i was surprised to see that the billing page became inaccessible after switching from a paid to the free plan. It somewhat makes sense that fee users don’t need it (yet still odd since i didn’t hat that issue on other platforms) but we still had charges we needed the invoices for. For some charges we got an e-mail which was better than nothing but for the last ones we received nothing. And there are only crickets from the support for weeks. Is a public outcry rly the only way to get a response to such a simple request?

I have installed my new MUI v6.1 Figma Library and now trying to swap the older version 5.1 using the swap library function as detailed here: How to swap your currently used Figma library with a newer version I follow all the instructions but when I click the the older version and select Swap library function it opens up a the model but the drop down is deactivated so I cant select the new version to swap with. See image. How can I fix this?

Previously, such a problem was not observed, now it is in the team files and in team projects. When I change the font to any other font inside the created style, it does not change automatically for the entire text to which we apply the style either in the project or within a single page. It also becomes impossible to change the style if you replace it with another style and try to return the old one. As a result, you have to change the fonts manually or click on each text block individually for the changes to take effect

These are the steps: Get a dozen identical instances in an auto-layout, set to wrap. Set the container to a fixed width, e.g. 600px Select all instances inside, and set the width to Fill. Notice how they are squeezed in. Set a min width to 200px. EXPECTED: Each component has a min width set to 200px. RESULT: Mixed results, with some components correctly set to 200px, while others get various random min width values. Is there a way to retry a failed Figma payment without waiting for the next business day or changing my payment method? My payment failed because there wasn’t enough money in my account at the time. I was wondering if there’s a “Retry Payment” option available for manually forcing the payment to go through.

Figma ran into a problem Our team is looking into it now. If refreshing the page doesn’t work, check our status page for updates. This is exactly what I see after I have been diligent for two days now, I can’t go to the wrong place from the documents At the same time, I can access Figma through a browser, but I need it through applications. I tried everything, restarted the computer and cleaned the Figma and re-logged in, nothing helps. How can I activate Figma on the application?

I’ve created a breadcrumb component with hover animation in Figma, available in both light and dark modes. Instead of borders, I’ve used shadow rings. The animation is set to Smart Animate > Gentle > 400ms. In light mode, the hover effect works as expected, but in dark mode, there’s a noticeable delay—first, the background changes, and then the shadow ring appears. Could this be a bug? So, I’ve created some icons using variants. It looks like this: (How the layers are organized, the Icon layer is an Union) (Properties of each icon) Then, I created a button component with different sizes and states using a placeholder icon: When I create an instance of the button in the same file (local component), I can swap the icon in the button and it preserves the icon properties: (In this case, the properties were: Small, Filled) But, when I use the same component in another file (now consuming from the original file, as a library), I can’t do the same: (The icon properties got resetted) Am I doing something wrong? Why the different behaviors when instancing inside the file and outside of it?

I’m not receiving system notifications on macOS using the desktop app, despite having this enabled in the app settings. I tried reinstalling and nothing happened. Figma never ask system permissions to show notifications, thus there’s nothing I can enable on macOS settings. Does anyone know what could I try? (besides reinstalling, which I have already done).

In Photos, tap a photo or video thumbnail to view it in full screen. Tap Edit, then swipe left under the photo to view the effects you can edit such as Exposure, Brilliance, Highlights, and Shadows. Tap the effect you want to edit, then drag the slider to make precise adjustments.

I found that when adding comments in the canvas by looking at the DOM structure, the input box structure is the same as draft-js. However, draft-js has been archived and is no longer maintained for two years. Why not replace it? I’m curious if there is a reason?

We have turned on the AI settings in the admin settings. Is there a way to make this AI available to a member of the team?

I made titles in my pages list. Subsequent pages get an indent. But I can’t reliably recreate this. Anybody knows how this works?

Hi guys, has anyone encountered this weird bug in Figma? Basically, each frame kind of shakes before animating to the next frame in Figma (if I keep it ‘fit to screen’ prototype). But if I keep ‘Actual Size’ then I won’t be able to show the whole frame on the screen as it’s portrait. It’s so annoying. I have created tons of animation and now I can’t present it properly because of this shakiness!!! Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi guys, What is the reason my prototype video doesn’t play on different devices? The video is in MP4 format and is of the proper size. I have a Xiaomi 11, and it plays perfectly on it in Chrome. However, the same prototype doesn’t start the video on the Sony Xperia 10 in Chrome; it starts in Mozilla, but there it is broken and distorted. Please, help!

I have a canvas set at auto-layout with Hug Content (this makes it easy to add elements without re adjusting the canvas height) but I cannot set fixed scrolling within the child elements ex: status bar and fixed buttons. Is this something not yet available in Figma — I don’t want to set child elements to absolute positioning because it will lose the structure I have set at the “Canvas/Artboard” level…

Hi! I somehow ended up with this quote styling in a FigJam Post-it note (through some keyboard shortcut) and I can’t recreate it or find anywhere online/in Figma that mentions the existence of this shortcut/capability. Does anyone know what keyboard shortcut results in this styling? Thanks!

There seems to be an issue when using D3D9 to preview prototypes, all my frames seem to adjust to a side or scatter sometimes. I’ve tried using D3D11 and OpenGL fixes but that just makes it very slow. I hope this issue gets fixed in later updates

This has been requested multiple times and I think it’s fairly obvious why; sending prototyping information in the response for a file’s structure would enable developers to create far more dynamic and interactive applications. transitionNodeID, transitionDuration, and transitionEasing are really not enough in the majority of cases where people need a representation of a node’s prototyping information. I am working with a client that generates customized Word Documents for their customers after filling out a survey. I created a mockup using the “Letter” frame and sent it over to the developers along with a text style guide. When the first report was compiled using the exact same font files and sizes I used in Figma, they take up way more space in the document in Word. Does anybody know where the issue might lie and how to go about converting the font sizes correctly?
