Hi,After I have exported several sections into a PDF, I’d like to merge them all into one file using Adobe Acrobat. However when I try to merge the files in Adobe Acrobat, I see this weird vertical lines appearing. Why do do these lines appear?   

Hello everyone!Some of my colleagues at a commercial company want to use Figma to create and edit images. The images created will not be used for commercial purposes, but will be used for company work, internal documents.That's all we are going to use in Figma. The Starter plan is enough for us. Is it possible to use Figma on the Starter plan for these purposes, specifying the company's corporate email in the account contacts?My company's tech support says that corporate use requires paying for plans. Are they right?

Hello,I recently upgraded my first team to Pro and gained access to the AI beta tools. However, after about a week, I was verified for the Edu version, so I created a second team under the Edu plan while my first team remained on the Pro plan.My question is: Why are the AI tools available in the Pro version but not in the Edu version, even though I am using the same email/account across different teams? Additionally, who should I contact to activate AI tools for my Education version as well?Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi all.I want to get the Figma version using the plugin API. 

Is anyone else facing issue with Set Variable Mode today, sometime its working and at times it’s not.

My status of student was confirmed but when I tried to create a new team and upgrade to professional,  the option “Is this an education team?” is not showing, it only shows the monthly/yearly payment option, I’m following the help center guide so What am I doing wrong here?

I am working on a file that has 2 pages and 2 menus which are linked to the pages but when i click on the menu button(s) during my prototype presentation, the link opens the design file and not the prototype page. I am copying the link to the page and adding the interaction. My menus are part of a published library with components of menus and UI elements I have tried to swap out the page link and replace it with a link to a specific frame and still getting the same issue. This seems to happen only with page links, overlays etc work correctly. i notice the URLs for the page or frame links has a figma.com/design and the prototypes have a /proto url structure, is this some sharing settings issue that I am not able to copy the right /proto links ? I think i am missing something obvious here :( 

Just curious how people approach prototyping with similar interaction attributes? I’m playing with the local variables by components like tabs and navigation bars to juggle the state logic (e.g., when one tab is selected, the rest gets deselected). Since I’m using my personal account, I only have up to 4 modes from the local variables, so instead of setting everything up in local variables. I just have a set of initial states (e.g., tab 1 = selected, tab 2 = not-selected, etc). While I manage to get the prototype to work. I found the process of setting up the interaction using conditional very time-consuming. For each tab on click, I have set variables for every tab within the components (I was playing with 8 tabs). I wonder if Figma has any capability to copy and past the interaction attributes like transition type, timing, and conditional logic? Sort of like how we could copy the style (fill colour, corner radius, etc) of a layer and past it on to another one.

I just updated my Figma to the latest version and I have noticed that when I try changing X or Y position of a vector by .5 px, it also slightly increases the size of that vector (which I dont want).Am I doing something wrong here?

Case: I have masive design system using Variables. But sometimes, I have to change (for example) change the color MenuCategories/bg-color.I have to manualy open the Variable table, and manualy find the variable.Quastion: Is tehere any way, to automaticly open the Variable table and dont have to find the variable manualy? Hi, guys, a newbie here. Just moved from Sketch to Figma, imported my sketch file successfully and got stuck on this step one. All of my pages show in Zoom to fit option, but whenever I try to zoom in or out (with mouse or menu) everything just disappears( No matter how far or long I scroll. I tried to import a file with just one page, and it’s the same - I can’t zoom in or out, I can see it only in Zoom to fit view.

Hi everyone, I’ve been using Figma’s custom bezier curves for a while now, and while they work great, I find myself frequently copy-pasting the same easing values across multiple components. This gets tedious, especially when I want to experiment with different easings for different elements. I’m curious if anyone has come up with a way to streamline this process or create more flexible solutions, like using variables for bezier curves, or any creative approaches that make managing multiple easing curves across components easier. However, I couldn’t find any resource on how to add a ‘mailto’ link to the prototype. I’d appreciate it if someone who has done it before could lead me the way. Thanks!

Does anyone know why I don't see the circle cursor when I present my work?

Hi!Until recently, variable collections in Figma could be manually ordered using numbers or custom prefixes. However, I’ve noticed that now they seem to be sorted only by creation date, and my previous custom order is completely gone.On top of that, the collections I had carefully organized are now randomly shuffled, ignoring the structure I had set up.Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this a bug or an intentional change?Any tips or workarounds to restore the custom order would be greatly appreciated!Thanks!

HiI have an issue with changing the icon size in one of our components in our design system.I have created a tab selector, which looks like this:Tab selector with icons The tab selector is also needed in a smaller version. However the icon then looks very large compared to the smaller text:Small tab selector The structure of a tab button is like this:And is setup with these properties: The “icon-scaler” is created to control icon sizes as well as which icon is used. It works perfect when not nested inside another component. When used in the .tab-selector-button, I can no longer change icon size but I can still change the icon?I have no idea how to go about this and I cannot achieve what is achieved here:How to use an IconWrapper in FigmaMaybe I’m missing something?Thanks.

Since the most recent SVG export change, Figma is using `<foreignObject>` for gradients. foreignObject has a number of issues, for us most importantly it’s not possible to combine `<foreignObject>` and `<use>`. We use `<use>` to create SVG sprites for icons, but any icons with a gradient exported from Figma now break our sprites and makes it impossible to use `<use>`.See e.g. https://github.com/w3c/svgwg/issues/511Could we get an option where we don’t get perfect background blur support and similar, but avoid using foreignObject?Thanks.

I can’t create a color variables with existing in library color styles, they won’t appear in the list.As you see I have color styles in the file but they are not visible in variables menuMaybe I’m missing something?

When I’m adding a new text property to a component which is nested inside another one the new text property content resets to the default when filled in, in the variant. All text properties are connected and have the same naming. IT is not happening to already existing components, but if I add a new text property to an existing component only the already existed ones will work.

Hello, so I recently created a toggle switch that is on an overlay. This switch functions properly and works to toggle my screens modes from light/dark. however when the overlay closes, the switch toggle resets.                For example: I am on a light theme > opens overlay > toggles to dark theme (it works) > switch changes to toggled > closes overlay > reopens overlay > switch resets to non toggled. as you can see this messes with the point of the toggle, every time I open the overlay after toggling to dark theme, I'm having to toggle twice to change to light theme, instead of it being fluid. Does anyone have a fix for this?
