Hello, community I am creating an icon set, and I want to deliver it to the development team in SVG format. The problem I faced is that some SVG codes export with the stroke that I want, but some export as a filled one (it seems that Figma first use outline stroke then export it) You can see two different icon svg file

Do you have any experience with workarounds for sharing a library from one organization to another while maintaining a direct link to the original library file?

Hey everyone! 😊I’m currently working on a Glassmorphism-styled app and have designed a Glass Tile component. I’ve fine-tuned the look to match my vision, but I want the flexibility to tweak it later and have those changes apply across my entire design.Since I also want to take full advantage of Auto-Layout, I’ve been trying different ways to make my Glass Tile fully reusable. Right now, my approach is:Creating an empty frame, and once I’m ready, manually placing my Glass Tile underneath and resizing it. Or, copying the properties of my Glass Tile and pasting them onto new frames.However, this feels a bit clunky. Ideally, I’d love a way to have a "Glass Frame" component that I can reuse over and over—without extra manual resizing every time.I also tried nesting an instance of my Glass Tile inside a frame, but it doesn’t resize dynamically. 🤔Does anyone know a smarter way to achieve this? Would love to hear your thoughts!Thanks a ton! 😃

I also have a client who needs to be able to:View my Figma design files.Add comments and feedback.Participate in FigJam brainstorming sessions.I'm struggling to understand:Which plan would be the most suitable for this setup (e.g., Professional, Organization)?How many seats I would need, and what type of seat my client would require (viewer, editor, etc.)?Any cost-effective strategies for managing this type of access?Has anyone else encountered a similar scenario? I need the duration to be around 100,000ms. If I break the interaction in multiple frames then there is a slight pause (1ms). I need a smooth transition of at least 1min maybe more. Is there a way to do this in Figma?

My asset panel for components used to be organized alphabetically regardless of how my library file was structured. I like to organize my library by components that are in progress, ready for dev, etc… and now in every file when i view my assets panel, the components are following the page order rather than alpha like they used to be.

Local variables are only accessible on an individual’s local system, right? Is there any way to view someone else’s local variables — for instance, if they’ve already set up a great system — so others can build on it instead of starting from scratch?Another way:Is there any way to view and study the local variables used in Figma files available in the community? Specifically, I’m curious if it's possible to examine how others have organized their variables within their files, so I can learn from well-structured systems and avoid reinventing the wheel when working on similar projects.

In the new update boolean operations moved from center top toolbar to a tiny, difficult to see spot in the corner of the properties panel. In the type of design I do I use these controls constantly and it’s been frustrating and disruptive. Constraints have also been moved and is less accessible. It would be great to allow the user to keep a custom top toolbar that is easily accessible, or at least maintain the original toolbar without having to revert to previous versions.

In Figma, I’m working with a design that involves three cards within an auto layout configuration. My goal is to achieve two key behaviors: Equal Height Across Cards: When these cards are aligned next to each other horizontally, they should all maintain an equal height, ensuring a uniform appearance. Content-Dependent Sizing: In scenarios where the cards do not share a row (e.g., when viewed on a narrower screen or in a different layout context), each card should adjust its height dynamically to snugly fit its content. Is it possible to configure auto layout wrap to accommodate these requirements? Specifically, I’m looking for a way to make the containers simultaneously fill available height when aligned together and adjust to hug their content when they’re not sharing the same row.

We are on a Professional plan with the following set-up:2 Design seats paid yearly (renewing on Feb 3 2026) 2 Design seats paid monthly 5 FigJam seats paid yearly (renewing on Feb 3 2026)First, we want to remain on the professional plan as it suits us best, we don’t want to upgrade to an organization plan.This said, this is what an ideal set-up after the new seats have been introduced would look like:2 Full seats paid yearly 2 Dev seats paid yearly 5 Collab seats paid yearlyI’ve been trying to figure out how to make this happen and it’s impossible. There’s no Dev Seat anywhere in our “People” view but only the, now, obsolete, Full and FigJam seats.Furthermore, before we could select to upgrade monthly seats to annual, an option that has been now wiped out the UI, leaving us stuck with 2 design seats paid monthly that we’d like to shift to yearly (if we were able to make them Dev Seats instead).The only place in the UI where I found a list of members and a list of the new seats tied to

i’m prototyping on Figma, i have buttons that change states once clicked on. The button changes states and works fine when I press it while I’m presenting, however once I make it so that clicking the button makes you navigate to a different frame/page, the button doesn’t change states anymore. How can i fix this? I already tried adding a delay when it navigates to a different page, but it seems like the button stops working all together in terms of changing states. Not sure if this is a bug.

How do I remove ghost color styles?I added some color styles, but after deleting them, they still appear in Libraries while not showing up in the color styles list or selection colors.Oddly enough, I can add fills on top of them 😆Important note: There are no external libraries linked to this file.Thanks for helping!   

I am in the process of creating a design system. I have created the local variables having a section for primitives, than another section for tokens. All is working great, but when I pull other components from our legacy design system, it keeps adding these and random names to the variables when I click the apply variable mode icon.The image shows the legacy design system as DI Design system, and also Experiment which is a Figma file I am playing with.Its quite irritating as I am trying to keep this file really simple.I can remove these additional items by deleting the components and I am left with item ‘Created in this file’ with the sub item titled ‘Tokens’Can anyone recommend a solution here or alternative way of doing this.The reason I am doing this I want to organise our colours semantically as tokens, the legacy design system is a mess that I inherited. Hello, I’m facing some difficulty with my prototype as the text edits I made to a specific variant are not showing up in the prototype. Instead, the text reflects that of the main component. This variant of a component is nested in another component’s variant, and when the prototype starts the normal flow of going from the default state of this parent component to the state where the child component is viewable, the child component’s content reflects the main component instead of the version I edited.  Only if I start from the second or third variant state does the child component reflect my edits.I’m not sure if I’m explaining this well but I’d be more than happy to answer any questions and am thankful for any help!  Link to Figma File what the preview/prototype currently displays (aka main component)what should be displayed (aka edited instance) 

Is it advisable to manage multiple features within a single Figma file, for example, it will have hundred of pages and thousand of artboards. Will Figma experience performance issues if multiple designers work on the same file simultaneously? How does this approach affect version control when multiple designers are working on the same file?

in a table footer, I use constraints to keep pagination right and other text left. but onDrag to a more narrow width, I want the pagination to wrap under the text. i don’t think there is a way to do this right?

Hello,Does anyone know why Figma no longer lets me edit a design that was shared with me?I still have editing permission. Do you know what I can do?

In some of my Figma files that are linked to our design system, while writing in Arabic using font tokens, after a while, the text disappears, and the only solution that solves this is to double-click on each and every text to make it appear again! In a large file that is all in Arabic, it looks like the attached screen, and this solution is time-consuming, especially since it happens again the next day. Attached are Arabic vs. English screens.

I made a video for my plugin to help people sync clickup and figma, but it’s not letitng me upload. Not sure if the problem is the format, length or other as no error messages appear. it just doesn’t do anything. My video is MP4, 32MB, it is around 3 min long cuz it’s a demo of the full plugin.Is there any documentation we can check to see what the requirements are?

The components are still there, as I can see it them in the layers panel as well as click/drag on the invisible group of it. Adjusting the icon’s parameters in the right panel doesn’t do anything. Even moving i off the frame doesn’t do anything. I have  tried refreshing the app, the browser, and even restarted my entire system.What’s going on?? Is this a plugin issue?

In Windows 11, if I have the Figma desktop app minimized in the taskbar, if I try to click the taskbar item to maximize it, it will flash a very quick white screen before rendering Figma’s contents in the app. This is even more noticeable if you have min/max animations turned off in windows. How do we fix this?
