I can’t seem to disable spell check no matter what I do, enabling it does not remove these red underlines either.
My version of Figma is 125.2.3 on Windows, and there are no updates. I have also disabled all native spelling correction in Windows.

Thanks for the screenshot! I get that even when you turn off "Check spelling," it's still checking your spelling.
Sadly, I don't have Windows to test this myself, but 125.2.3 is the latest Windows Figma desktop app. I just tried it on my desktop app and browsers, and it's working fine for my Mac.
Is this happening only in your Desktop app, or are you seeing it in both the browser and the desktop app?
Could you try these quick fixes and see if they help?
- Close any Figma tabs you don't need.
- Browser: Close your browser completely and open Figma again in a new window.
- Desktop App: Close the Figma desktop app and restart it.
